Stošić is a real threat for fighters when he's game. He didn't really have much success in the UFC, but that could mean a bunch of things. Even so, KSW is a respectable organization and there is nothing wrong with being successful there.
There is always a chance that UFC calls him again if he continues with great fights and wins, and I think he is much more mature now and ready to take risks.

oh, 100% there is, however, I think that he is actually better of with KSW than with any US-based MMA organization. He is good but he is not top-level big money good and fighting for those organizations would be more of a loss of money and maybe a certain part of his reputation if he losses a few. In KSW he can make a legit name for himself in European circles.

There is no break in MMA and PFL playoffs are continuing with new round main event Brendan Loughnane vs Movlid Khaybulaev on August 27.
Other great fight is Bubba Jenkins vs Chris Wade in featherweight category.

Cheick Kongo is not young anymore but he can still fight and beat anyone like he showed in fight with Kharitonov and I didn't expect this outcome to be honest.
I am not sure what is next for both of this fighters but Bellator is taking small summer break and next fight card Bealltor 266 is scheduled for September 15.

and here is the complete fight list of the next ksw 63 tournament, which will take place in warsaw.
This should be great fight card to watch and I think that Darko Stosic fight should not be missed, he is ex UFC fighter and he destroyed all fighters in KSW so far.

Seemed like a fun card in Bellator 265. Congo tapped out Kharitonov at the buzzer with an rnc. Now that's exciting. Bellator has had some really good cards latelly, PFL is not bad at all and ONE is up there with the best. Glad to see that UFC has some good competition nowdays.

Talking about atrocities, check out this promotional video for KSW 63 fight Roberto Soldic vs Patrik Kincl that looks more like some bad hollywood movie  Smiley

It's really hard to come by some decent results for this one, but Delija got the best of Goltsov and will be heading to the finals. Also, Cappelozza and Harrison won as well on that card. And on a side note, whoever is doing or in charge of visuals for PFL should rethink taking another line of work, this is an atrocity.

It was easy ground and pound win for unstoppable Kayla Harrison that now has 11-0 MMA record and her next fight is with Guardado.
Delija managed to win by decision, my call was good for betting on underdog, and Cappelozza also got a great KO win so it's now amazing record 13 wins by 13 KO's!  Shocked
It's 6 million dollars on the line in this play-offs and Cappelozza is going head to head with Ante Delija in heavyweight category!

PFL Playoffs are starting in two days and again we have great fight with Kayla Harrison with perfect 10-0 record and Genah Fabian (4-1).
Problem is that Harrison is huge favorite and odds are to low on her, so it's better to look for other fight for betting and there are few good ones.

Co-main event Bruno Cappelozza vs Jamelle Jones is interesting clash of heavyweights, and just look at that Cappelozza 100% KO/TKO record from all of his 12 fights! If he wins he wins with a KO!
Jones is also good with his KO record but he has 4 inch reach disadvantage compared with Cappelozza.
Whatever the outcome may be, you should not miss this fight!

One more good fight to watch in heavyweight is Denis Goltsov vs Ante Delija, and my bet will be on underdog from Croatia.
This is probably one of the best fight cards I saw in PFL in last few months.

Bellator 265 Kongo vs Kharitonov is starting tomorrow and there are some changes in fight card.
Jay Jay Wilson missed the weight again and his fight with Adam Borics is canceled, that was supposed to be co-main event of the evening.
New co-main event is Logan Storley vs Dante Schiro in welterweight category.
Sergei Kharitonov is nearly 20 pounds heavier than Cheick Kongo, and Kharitonov is slight favorite to win this fight as odds suggest.
Kongo have big seven inch reach advantage but he is five years older so I have to give advantage to Kharitonov this time, but fight should be interesting to watch.

Not sure if BKFC is really an interest in this thread, but let's say it is... here is a Chris Leben fight Smiley https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAzkyl5VFsQ

This always looks to me like a glorified bar fight in Boston, but hey, some MMA fight's look like that as well XD Not really my cup of tea, to much chaos but to each his own.

In the early days of MMA, it used to be that way which is full of brawling but this one is bare-knuckle. Its more damaging when there is no protective gear on the hands. He hit the eye by chance and Quentin thought it was a poke in the eye lol.

Sad lives of these old-timers because during their time, they are not paid well. I remember a Brazilian fighter jumped happily receiving about $5K I think after winning and said to Rogan he's happy to celebrate his birthday next week. I wonder how much Leben is paid for this retirement fight.

Yeah, that's what this reminds me of, the olden time, and I for one am not interested in revisiting those early days of MMA Smiley The game has evolved drastically from that period where now it's, for the most part, a sport and not just a fight. Watching BKFC is like watching some old footage from the late 90s.

This will be interesting MMA weekend and big heavyweight fight is starting as Bellator 265 in few days between legendary Cheick Kongo and Russian fighter Sergei Kharitonov and that should be good fight to watch, but my eyes are more focused on October 23 and other legendary heavyweight fight Fedor vs Johnson.
Kongo is 46 years old with seven inch reach advantage but Kharitonov is five years younger and I think odds will be more in his favor.

^  I don’t think you’re exaggerating.  I didn’t watch the event but a couple of my friends were saying that the match was tough to watch if you were a Rory fan and that it wouldn’t be surprising if he said he’ll retire.

Anyway, I think his decline started with that match vs Lawler years ago in the UFC.  It def took out a lot from him.

Yeah, I agree that that was the tipping point, the Lawler fight. I often wonder, if he had the same fight but managed to win in the end, I doubt he would remain the UFC champ long, that fight took his soul. It has to be a mental thing. That and the Mousasi fight. For the life of me, I can't figure out why he accepted that fight...

Also, Bellator results

I didn't watch all Bellator event but I see it was nice ground and pound win for Gegard Mousasi and he keeps Middleweight category champions belt, but I was a bit surprised to see Raufeon Stots winning against Magomed Magomedov.

Here’s the thing, ‘hype’ without skill is one thing, no hype no skill is also one thing then no hype with legit skill is another thing and so is with hype with skill.  I feel like McKee is legit and could be something special in the UFC, but that’s just me.  And being in the UFC isn’t just a popularity contest.  I mean look what happened to Ben Askren.  That was pure hype, no skill.  Lol.  He got out struck by Demian Maia.  Demian Maia ffs.  Does the UFC really want to see that again?

Anyway for Bellator I think Moussasi inside the distance could be the bet.

Fair enough Smiley Let's see how this will end up, at least something exciting is happening Smiley

Anyway, PFL results are here and it's not looking great for Rory. This might be the end for him. I mean, I might be exagerating, but he's not in a good place in his career. Oh, and how did I miss that Olie Aubin-Mercier is fighting for PFL?

^  That’s the thing.  What hype?  There’s no hype around him but what he has is talent.  He is obv legit and a talent like that should be competing among the best.  And he’s just 26!  Pitbull, Mousassi and Bader are old..  I think over 35.  Lol.  With McKee they could build a brand around him cos he’s a fresh talent.
Exactly, he is a damn good fighter, and I bet Dana White would love to have him in his UFC team, but he can't catch them all Smiley

Bellator 264 Mousasi vs Salter event is starting in few days and we have one more great fight card with main event fight for Middleweight Championship belt fight with five rounds.
Co-main event is also looking great with Russian Andrey Koreshkov and Sabah Homasi fighting in Welterweight category.
Third great fight I am keeping my eye is between fighter from Dagestan, Russia Magomed Magomedov and American Raufeon Stots.
Both fighters have only one defeat each, and Magomedov is the only fighter that beat Petr Yan in fight (not counting that fake champ Aljamain Sterling).

https://www.bellator.com/

Koreshkov is a beast. That kick that sent Bakočević flying was a work of art. At one time he seemed like a big threat in the division but has since lost his mojo a bit. Maybe he gets it back. Salter is susceptible to ground attacks and submissions, and, even though Mousasi hasn't had any ground game as of lately, but has had in the past and could have that advantage.

What hype? Well, that's what I am saying, there is no hype around him and I was referring to that in considoration with your statement that they should trade some top fighter and throw a bunch of money on him. Why? Because he is talented? So are a bunch of other fighters on the UFC roster. If they want to build up a fighter and a brand then they for sure would not trade any high-profile fighter for him, they would acquire him for a reasonable amount seeing that they have to throw a lot of cash into marketing and developing him. As for Bader, Mousasi, or Pitbull, I was referring to McKee calling out cross-promotion fights in his speech, and from a pure marketing standpoint, it would make much more sense to take any of those 3 as they are much stronger names in the eyes of hard core fans and casuals alike. So that's talking about a one of cross-promotion megafight. As for him being able to go toe to toe with Volkanovski, Holloway or Ortega, Imma gonna go with a hard no on that one.

According to Ariel Helwani post, Yoel Romero new fight against former light heavyweight champion Phil Davis s booked for September 18!
Romero had been medically cleared and he has a 13-5 record in MMA, and Davis is 22-6 with 1 NC and his last loss was from champion Vadim Nemkov.
I am waiting to see the odds, but it's not going to be easy fight for Romero, and I hope he is going to move in octagon this time Smiley
