^ That’s the thing. What hype? There’s no hype around him but what he has is talent. He is obv legit and a talent like that should be competing among the best. And he’s just 26! Pitbull, Mousassi and Bader are old.. I think over 35. Lol. With McKee they could build a brand around him cos he’s a fresh talent.
Exactly, he is a damn good fighter, and I bet Dana White would love to have him in his UFC team, but he can't catch them all
Bellator 264 Mousasi vs Salter event is starting in few days and we have one more great fight card with main event fight for Middleweight Championship belt fight with five rounds.
Co-main event is also looking great with Russian Andrey Koreshkov and Sabah Homasi fighting in Welterweight category.
Third great fight I am keeping my eye is between fighter from Dagestan, Russia Magomed Magomedov and American Raufeon Stots.
Both fighters have only one defeat each, and Magomedov is the only fighter that beat Petr Yan in fight (not counting that fake champ Aljamain Sterling).
https://www.bellator.com/Koreshkov is a beast. That kick that sent Bakočević flying was a work of art. At one time he seemed like a big threat in the division but has since lost his mojo a bit. Maybe he gets it back. Salter is susceptible to ground attacks and submissions, and, even though Mousasi hasn't had any ground game as of lately, but has had in the past and could have that advantage.

What hype? Well, that's what I am saying, there is no hype around him and I was referring to that in considoration with your statement that they should trade some top fighter and throw a bunch of money on him. Why? Because he is talented? So are a bunch of other fighters on the UFC roster. If they want to build up a fighter and a brand then they for sure would not trade any high-profile fighter for him, they would acquire him for a reasonable amount seeing that they have to throw a lot of cash into marketing and developing him. As for Bader, Mousasi, or Pitbull, I was referring to McKee calling out cross-promotion fights in his speech, and from a pure marketing standpoint, it would make much more sense to take any of those 3 as they are much stronger names in the eyes of hard core fans and casuals alike. So that's talking about a one of cross-promotion megafight. As for him being able to go toe to toe with Volkanovski, Holloway or Ortega, Imma gonna go with a hard no on that one.
Here’s the thing, ‘hype’ without skill is one thing, no hype no skill is also one thing then no hype with legit skill is another thing and so is with hype with skill. I feel like McKee is legit and could be something special in the UFC, but that’s just me. And being in the UFC isn’t just a popularity contest. I mean look what happened to Ben Askren. That was pure hype, no skill. Lol. He got out struck by Demian Maia. Demian Maia ffs. Does the UFC really want to see that again?
Anyway for Bellator I think Moussasi inside the distance could be the bet.
