(2) Withdrawing NMC comes up with a "connect: null" message box.
This should now be fixed. Please let me know if there are any other withdrawal issues.

and an updated version of the pool software.
This is great news. The NMC withdrawal issue is still there, though.  Cry

The pool is now running bitcoind 0.14.2
This is the perfect opportunity to have a look at namecoind 0.14.99  Wink

The software updated was the ckpool pool software that the server runs for the stratum proxy. Next is the front end software which will fix the NMC withdrawal issue. Now that we're on the latest BTC and hopefully there won't be any major refactorings for a while I can finish the merge mining work.

There was a few minutes of downtime as some pool maintenance was done. The pool is now running bitcoind 0.14.2 and an updated version of the pool software.

I'll be the first to admit I don't understand all there is to know about BTC mining/pools.   So, if a block was hit, there would still be overlap in your account that you would need to wait until the next block to collect?   I was just trying to get a conversation going because the hash rate has been pretty low and not sure that at these odds it was still probable to hit another one.

yep  this is the only pool with the overlap method.

so if we hit today.

the top guy would overlap  to say six coins I would overlap to 1 for each of my 2 accounts

so between us we would be leaving more then 8 coins on the table

so for me  if we hit today  and mined for 2 more blocks  or 1 more block  I could adjust.

this pool had a nice system but never got the support it deserves .

If we had a steady 5ph we would be a great pool.  it would be around a block every 6 or 7 days.

Well, it was a great system for the time but times have changed.  Maybe something that can be re-arranged that would be more fair the miners due to the current difficulty.

Always ask questions. #StandWithHongKong
i would gladly point some hash here if merge mining was working - it's been so long since it did though.......

The difficulty to find blocks seemed to have changed about three months ago.  I was no longer receiving payments mining with my S3 at Kano.is.  This is probably the case across the board. Maybe a lot of small miners have stopped mining BTC for something more profitable.  It almost looks impossible to find a block now at MMPool.  Maybe a consensus to find one more block then give up?

well  it is easy to say that if you have only an s-3 mining there and about 0.001 or 0.002 in btc due to you.
everyone one in the top ten  would stand to lose a lot if that happens.

number 1 guy  has fed  maybe 6 to 8 coins into this.

number 2 guy  has fed  1.6 coins into this

number 3 guy has fed  1.5 coins into this

number 4 guy has fed more then a coin into this.

5 to 10 are into it a bit too.

I certainly understand  the frustration  of long block waits.    But if we are going to end pool  now is not the best time to talk about ending it.

Lets pretend we hit today.  fresh start  and then talk about ending in a block.

ending  deep into a block at the next block  is difficult for  those that mined the block heavy.

In all mmpool  is the operator  it is up to him.  Not the miners.

BTW I am in the top so ending right after next block is not appealing to me.

Thanks philip. Sorry I just got time to see this, my bad but life. lol  I guess since it is now set to change the diff automagically its all good...just take 3 to 5 min of share sifting to get right.  On another note I cant find any thing about how I see my merged mining results or even how to get them if I have them. lol

I am sure there is some giant bold print somewhere that tells me what to do but I cant find/see it. Smiley

Hi all and thank you mmpool Smiley

I just registered and am mining but I had to take out the starting diff part because it would not run. Here is my bat and I am sure it is me doing it wrong.

cgminer -o stratum+tcp://mmpool.org:3333 -u xxooss --gekko-2pac-freq 200  -p x

I have tried a lot of diff combos but I just cant figure it out. Any ideas?

I mine here with sticks  let me walk over to that pc

did you open an account with xxooss

and did you submit addresses for the account?

Try what I bolded and wait 20  minutes

it will accept the hash  after a while

here is my page. I am renting so my hash is high
