I loved mining at this pool, but the long blocks have become a killer for anyone who hopes to ROI.

Thanks for the trust and kind words everyone! I haven't heard from the extortionist so hopefully they've gone away. I'll be getting the pool going on port 80 again in the next 24 hours or so and then everything should be back to normal. November 02, 2014, 04:47:50 PM

Great way to wake up on a Sunday! I was just going to check my hash rate and bam we found a block. Thank you so much mmpool. Although I didn't have as much BTC at stake as Philipma1957 I too was worried when the DDOS happened. I shall take the advice of Philipma and leave trust, thats the least I could do, and so should anyone else who was in the pool at the time. Thanks again mmpool, keeping all I got pointed your way, and when the new gear comes in i'll add that as well.

I actually think anyone he paid off of this block should consider giving him a trust.
Just think if he said I can't stop the attack. Or said he was paying the guy off. With funds from the next block.
Instead he came up with a work around and we soon reached that block.

we appear to be down again what is up?
Dealing with an attack. Tor services stayed up but the proxy went down. It's up again now.it is still working so far so good.

Pool interface is now running over non-tor on port 8080 - http://mmpool.org:8080 - Once I've completed testing I'll move it to the default HTTP port 80. Let me know if there are issues. If I have to bring it down the tor access for browsing and mining should be unaffected.
It's working good for me. Thanks for all your efforts in fixing this, much appreciated.

I'm mining away, and viewing stats over TOR Browser, but wanted to know if there are any issues with trying to process a withdrawal now?
