I have a few things that I want to buy but none of these is urgent. This is the main reason why I invest in bitcoin because I know I might need money in future but I don't need it now.
When you know bitcoin will grow in value over time investing becomes something clear and obvious because it can take 5 years before you can take some profit but eventually you will.
I'm not spending my money, I'm still saving. I know that one day I'll be too old and too weak to think of working and that's when all of this will come into play.

We spent money sometimes on things we cannot account for and then people assume them to be money wasted on them, but on a reality base, we must be responsible for anything we spent our money for because we know what it takes to get money whenever we are in need and the work we do that fetch us money should also be considered in other not to always renders our efforts in vain whenever we work, make money and spend the money on unnecessary things that are unaccounted for.
Other people may not like to judge us because we have money to buy anything from income or savings, we have dreams to buy something we want to achieve and we are responsible for that decision, even though other people consider it a waste of money but we have other funds for emergency needs and investment funds so what we buy is not related to the allocation of other funds, we also have to have passive income to cover big expenses and nothing is in vain if we enjoy income from work to buy our dream items, but we should consider not buying it if the price is above 30% of the amount of savings.

At some point, a person grows up. He understands that he already has an apartment, a car, clothes, and, most importantly, free money that he can afford to spend. But you're already reluctant to spend on yourself, and this is not because there are no desires—a desire to buy something better, maybe always—but there is a question: why do I need this if what I have works well?
This is what is happening to me. The main thing is both children and parents, and is for them that the desire to make life better and easier never stops. And there are always ideas on where to spend your money with pleasure if it is spent on your loved ones. In this, I think we are similar, and it is not for nothing that I pay attention to your posts so often. Smiley
It sounds like you're going through a period of self-reflection and considering the value of your possessions and wealth. I can totally relate with you and agree that it's understandable to feel a sense of contentment with what you have and to question the need for more material possessions.

It's admirable that you, just like me, prioritize your family and loved ones and seek to improve their lives. I also believe that spending money on experiences or gifts for those closest to us can bring joy and strengthen relationships.

Unfortunately, money is a vital asset and is necessary to enjoy a comfortable life. Whether we like it or not, money has the power to determine our lives since everything revolves around it. However, being obsessed with it and setting its accumulation as our primary goal can be disastrous for ourselves. I don't want a larger house or a luxury performance car; I want to have a comfortable life without having to worry about running out of money, while at the same time being able to afford a vacation or spending it on those I love, thus, as other users already mentioned, it's important to find the right balance for everything.

I would spend on my friends but every time I think about it I feel like there's a rivalry, like they want to show off as having more than I do and they wouldn't spend on me outside of buying food or drinks when we're partying.

It's like a common agreement that we often buy each other treats like one person pays for pizza, someone brings snacks, but although we know each other for more than 15 years we wouldn't buy each other expensive gifts. If I did that they'd feel that I'm on another level and looking down at them. That's why we rarely talk about money, we don't borrow from each other and so on.

What I'd like to have is enough money to feel safe. To know that I can leave at any moment and still have enough cash and bitcoin to start my life somewhere else. That if something happens I will be able to pay for medical treatment for my family members, that if I get into a car accident I'll be able to buy a new car. I don't want to show off, I want to feel safe.

Have you checked your attitude towards money lately? What is "your dream"?  bigger home, a bigger car, private schools, branded drink, gold?...
It is essential to have a healthy relationship with money, to understand its worth and to use it wisely to achieve realistic goals that align with your values and priorities. Saving for retirement, paying off debts, creating an emergency fund, investing in education or career development, and supporting causes that are important to you are all common financial goals. Balance present enjoyment with future planning, while avoiding excessive debt or overspending, which can cause stress and limit your options.

Finding that balance is really important. If you can establish this balance, the moves you have already made allow you to live comfortably. I'm trying to keep the value of the money I earn with the increasing inflation lately. If I can achieve this, I plan to act with a better plan after I pay my debts.

Well it could either be that I am spending too much on something that I don't really need or I primarily focus on things that are just needed and kind of "over-saving" myself. Your happiness is what matters the most at the end. If you have a spare money to buy what you want, do it right now as long as you can still pay your next bill/s.

You cannot bring your money in your grave and we all know that we are all going to that point.

The role of money in a man's life is crucial. When you have money, you can use it to purchase the shoes and clothing you want. like going to clubs or visiting your ideal destinations. Nonetheless, spending money on worthwhile endeavors rather than frivolous ones, such as investing, is one approach to ensure financial security. A other strategy that, when engaged in, can unquestionably help you reach your aim of making a lot of money is the purchase of landed property.

You're right, don't spend on something that's just for nothing. We should not be extravagant and careless shopping. We must remember our future life, what impact will we experience if we still live a wasteful lifestyle and only do something in vain.

People now a days are really buying those expensive things to show off in social media. I myself don't understand it, but it is because they want attention. It is okay to live those wasteful lifestyles if they are very rich, as they can do it, but for us, that is only getting enough, and if we do that we are just wasting money. I do really see some people in social media doing those expensive things, for which I know they take out a loan just to do it. I am glad that I am not really into social media, and I just want to spend my money on things that I need in my life or for my family.
The capitalist economy has succeeded in creating a consumer society par excellence. The same society that was before the capitalist era used money to buy its basic needs, where a very small group of society had financial surpluses to buy luxuries.
The policy of free markets helped in establishing excessive consumption patterns, helped by the modern media that present stimulating messages (advertisements) that encourage more consumption.
Economic psychologists provide explanations for all these consumer phenomena and assert that the consumer habits of a particular society or class of society without changing the entire economic model. The matter cannot be studied objectively based solely on personal experience. This is a societal phenomenon similar to an epidemic.

I am used to managing my finances. I even wrote down a list of my needs and wants. I separate which needs are primary and which are secondary and tertiary needs.
by doing this it will be easier for us to manage finances. and don't forget to record our income and expenses every day / week / month. so that we know how our financial inflows and outflows are.

I also always prepare a special fund allocation for investment, savings and emergency funds.
and talk about my dreams for the future. so I have been preparing since the beginning of my work. I invest in property and land. I sent money to my family to buy a plot of land in my hometown. because I know for sure that one day I will come home. and my family always support what i do.

from childhood I really wanted to have a large piece of land. and I made a house in the middle of the vast land that I have. so that I have a large yard. live in peace with family. farming, writing books peacefully alias not under the control of other people and also have passive income from investments made in other fields. I also always set aside a little money to invest in crypto like bitcoin.

That is the unfortunate truth about the world we live in. I do not mean to generalize, of course there are situations where people donate and save someone, or love someone who doesn't have money, or even some people who live healthy lives until 90 years old without having any wealth. These all happen but they are exceptions, and that's why they are pretty rare.

However, if we are talking about the reality, money is the key to life and the more money you have the better life you will have, if you ruin your life even when you have money then it's a bit of your own problem, because money is basically the thing that will make anyone's life better and should be our goal to get as much of it as we can.
It depends, on how you are ready for big money, someone will spend their whole life making a fortune, and will live a very measured life. And someone who inherits it will spend everything on entertainment and in the end will be left with nothing, because he will not appreciate what he received properly. We need money to live a good life, without money it will be difficult.

Money for for things that are important in life: you family, your people, health, well being, ... Do not be afraid to spend the money on your people when they really need it, but be wary of spending it on stu**pid things and if you think your car and your clothes are important, you may want to start thinking if you have any significant goal in life and where does it get you in the next 10 years.

People generally should spend more on good things that benefit others more rather than on things that benefit just themselves and family. Things you buy should be profitable enough for you, to the extent that what you spend in buying them can be recovered at the right time.
I have nothing against bigger home, bigger vehicle, private school, etc, just make sure you use them in such a way that they can pay for themselves without additional funds from elsewhere going into them.

I think health and family come first. However, occasional pleasures are fine as long as they don't compromise our long-term goals and happiness. Materialistic desires like a bigger house or a fancier car may bring short-lived happiness.
But if you don't have money, you don't have health and family. When you have an accident or illness, if you have no money, no one will save you, and no one is willing to donate to help you. And if you don't have money, your relatives, even your wife, won't be able to be with you, and no one will treat you well if you don't have money. Today's society has become pragmatic, everything is measured in money, whoever has money has rights.

That's very much correct. If you have money then don't just use to fulfil your own dreams rather take care of people in need around you. There are people around in your family that are in need of money but cant ask for it because of there dignity. Better to hunt them down and help them without realizing them (humiliating).
Money is no doubt important thing in your life but one need to have balance between striving to earn more money and maintaining good family relations and personal health.

On the time that you had reached out on a state where you could buy up things on spot cash or doesnt really need some bank financing or installment then you should consider yourself to be successful already because not all does acquire things on spot cash which means that you are really indeed capable on buying things you do want. Its true that you should not really not that careless
on buying things which arent that beneficial or in short that you are really that become too materiaslistic considering that there's no such thing about unlimited funds.
This is why focusing into other more income sources is more worth.
Agreed! Cash purchases show financial prosperity. But, don't obsess on material items and realize that there are other methods to get money. Stocks and real estate may be good long-term investments. Always maintain a broad income portfolio.

But who doesn't adore getting something they've wanted without worrying about financing? It's satisfying and a reminder that hard work pays rewards. It's vital not to let our items determine our worth, yet indulging ourselves occasionally can be a terrific way to reward our hard work!

There is one attitude about  money that I have discovered in myself recently.
I no longer think much about myself with my money. What I think is family friends and relatives.
Most times I see myself getting what I need, but I don't have for other people but I don't have it myself.
I don't like a luxury life, though I am not rich to live a luxry life. But with the little I have that can take care of me and people around me. I use it on people around me more than myself. I am beginning to understand that that is not the best way to live life. I mean, I should be happy first then others come but my case is the reverse.
