I got a little question, following the profit the last days and i noticed that the profit seems to tick down gradually, at the End of the day it jumps and gets positive, but i was just wondering what caused this,
since other casinos go up gradually.
Is this faucet betting or something else?

What do you mean by 'end of the day' ?!? What day are you referring to?

MP is available and accessed globally, so it is always being played during the 'day' somewhere, by someone. That said, the pattern you see I suspect is driven by the timezone of MP's largest group of players, or perhaps a handful of larger players.
Right, what i Mean is in the 12hours when i Check the profit, every hour or 2 hours, and just refresh every 2seconds it seems that 80% of the time it Goes Down with little amounts.
Maybe try it yourself? Could Be pure coincidence but i just noticed that

yes there is a list and here you go

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14051966

please if you could be so kind and tell me why you want to see the whole list of MP apps and after you checked the list what did this list tell you?

thanks in advance

I'm primarily an outside 'investor' in the pool and want to get a better feel for the whole business, prospects and such. I'm still less than 1% of the pot, but I expect to have about 50-70 btc in a few months and thinking about investing it here. I'm thinking about what moneypot might look like in ~2 years.

So I'll look through the app list, visit several sites, perhaps compare moneypot's collective offering with other crypto-gambling competitors, think about the future and perhaps grow more/less comfortable with entrusting my funds with a bunch of anonymous techno-nerds with a shell office in Costa Rica ... lol.

thank you very much for the detailed answer. it looks like that you are doing your DD very careful and that is very smart imo

I am still interested in your opinion after you did your DD it would be very much appreciated. no must though

good luck

Has MoneyPot put up any stat charts, like for total wagered and investor profit? I'd very much be curious to track the investor profit over time, especially since the start of the new management, as well as how profit recovered from that massive plinko win not too long ago.

For the time being, you can use:

https://www.eeeth.com/mpstats

Each button (except # of apps) is clickable for a different chart.

It accounts for April 7 - Current.

Is there a master list of available apps? Even when I login to MP I only see a handful of 'featured apps.'

Wow, it looks like someone has invested ~100 btc in the bankroll yesterday. The bankroll was something like 530 btc when I checked it yesterday and is now 629.

Woa, that is really a very huge jump. Sadly that also means that my percentage will reduce a lot and i will get less profit.

Not necessarily - if that 'investor' also plans to play their chips, we could see a concurrent increase in bets.

That's the great thing of not owning a gambling site. I can say anything without looking like a jealous competitor Cheesy

yes thats correct but to be frank I don't care to speak out anything if it is my straight forward opinion even to other gambling site owners. but here I was waiting and very eager to see what MP has to say Smiley

I posted in the thread itself, but i'll post here again for reference.

Nice! Just won 2,000 bits on about 15 spins using your lowest house margins. I love how even though the faucet kinda sucks IMO, I can still deposit .01 or .001 and its 1,000 and 10,000 bets respectively.

Let it be noted though, I have kinda figured out a way to manipulate MoneyPot to get their "randomizer" going in great streaks for my multiplier.
If anyone wants to PM me.

Keep it up!

Although sometimes it feels like there are patterns and streaks, I assure you that our algorithm is random to a degree that you cannot manipulate it or guess it.

I have used this depositing address quite a few times and it has worked before?

Check the other tabs of your history (e.g. withdrawals, transfers) or more relevant: "all". Normally deposits are handled in the same (database) transaction that credits your account, so it's not possible for the (bitcoin) transaction to appear but your account not being credited.

Well, i really need those funds and they are mine after all, i seriously didnt expect this to happen thats why i placed it on a lockdown and used it as a "coldwallet" in a way. I understand that theres a warning there and i knew that i was putting them on hold for 2 months, but i couldnt predict my illness.
Moneypot should NEVER be used as a cold wallet. Just because your funds are locked in doesn't mean that they are safe. MP has control over your funds. Also, Moneypot is nowhere close to a cold wallet. They are literally a website, on the internet! A cold wallet is offline. It's better to keep your funds on a desktop wallet the Moneypot, since your computer would be less of a target for hackers. Also, if your computer was hacked, a keylogger could be installed granting them access to your moneypot account. It also is safer, as having a wallet on your computer poses no counterparty risk. Moneypot could run off with your funds. Furthermore, with a cold wallet, you can access your funds at anytime (basically).

I wouldn't say 'Never'.  Just like anything out there, there are advantages and disadvantages of doing something like this.

We take the security of user funds very seriously with the vast majority of funds held in a cold storage multi sig wallet.

We also aggressively keep records of all transactions and log-ins of every user.

Cold wallet is just the wrong word to use.

It could be that RaidBossOath referred to cold wallet to mean keeping funds inaccessible for a time.

DarkStar_ and stingleword are absolutely right in the matter.

Yeah, no. Never, never, NEVER use a third party service as a cold wallet. Hot wallet, fine; cold wallet, you're asking to have your entire savings stolen from you.

Cold storage is cold if it's offline under your sole control. Moneypot isn't offline and it isn't under your control.

Hi, im currently locked from divesting for 2 months and ive recently had some medical issues and i trully do need the funds, I cant wait for 2 months to be over in order to pay my medical bills, Ive contacted support and no answer. What shall i do?

Please note that Moneypot holds a strict policy on this matter.  For multiple reasons, we cannot pivot away from this under any circumstances and your invested funds must remain locked.

The site clearly states "Once you submit the lock, there is no going back. You must wait the full duration before you can divest.
This feature is only here to help you manage your money as a last resort and we will respect the wishes of your past-self no matter what your future-self says." and then asks for a password confirmation to double check that the user is aware of the program being placed.

However, given the circumstances, Moneypot, in this one time instance, would like to assist you outside of this matter.

We have sent a PM regarding this to try and make light of this emergency situation in your time of need.

From this point forward, we will not unlock any investments, even those of emergency nature, and will change the warnings and labels to absolutely inform the user of these warnings.

I really do understand that this is against policy, but im really in dire need, and i do apreciate the response fast and understanding, my vouches for moneypot
