Thanks to the hard work of our lead developer, we now have Moneypot setup so that a cap of 10 bets and/or requests per authid (confidential apps)/access token (client apps) is set.

Basically, there will be a cap of 10 bets per second, but players can play on two different apps and have a separate limit.

With this in effect, players can now open multiple tabs if they wish, but will be capped at 10 bets per second per site.

You could always set your site to deny the other tab when someone tried to open up multiple tabs for betting

When I was developing my app, Ryan told me that this was the preferred way of doing things. From a developer's perspective, you should be storing the next hash in the browser's local storage. If the API returns an invalid hash error, immediately log the user out because the cookie is compromised.

please specify how many tabs a user may open? why not say 1 or 2 etc or no additional tab is allowed! an easy rule for all

Isnt it clear already? it has been stated that they do not want any user to open additional tab for faster betting purposes

We do NOT want users to open up multiple tabs to bet.

Im not a native speaker but I do understand the meaning of that bolded word completely. You could always set your site to deny the other tab when someone tried to open up multiple tabs for betting

to be frank and it should be clear that I asked the MP owner and not you. but in case you are one of the new MP owners I apologize and I will phrase my question for you

please confirm

We've been experiencing a noticeable drop in speed lately due to some users using scripts to make an abnormal amount of bets per second.

We're currently working on the issue and should have Moneypot running normally very soon.

Additionally, a message has been stated on Moneypot concerning this and reads as follows:

"Any and All users continuing to use scripts solely based to spam an abnormal amount of bets against the system will face a permanent ban leading up to the possible forfeiture of their funds. All users believed to have conducted in these actions have been notified by email."

My casino page features an Auto-Bet function. This feature could cause a punter to submit bets very quickly; however it is limited to only one pending bet at a given moment, and is limited to a minimum of 1 bit (100 satoshi) bets. Could this trigger your anti-spam functions?

No.  The only way people will run into trouble is if they open up several tabs at once or multiple instances of a bot and/or script for the sole purpose of betting faster at an abnormal rate (at the expense of other players).

could we app owners get a fix rule how many tabs are allowed for people to open? 2 -4 6-8 or 10

we could then tell our people what is allowed and what not. or how many user names they are allowed to to use

thx

This has been expressed before.

We do NOT want users to open up multiple tabs to bet.

If players want to play on different Moneypot sites at the same time, it is fine.

If players want to open up tabs to play on the same site with faster betting speed, it is NOT.

please specify how many tabs a user may open? why not say 1 or 2 etc or no additional tab is allowed! an easy rule for all

and if a user is opening 6 tabs for example will you know it? and if yes what will be done against this user?

Thanks. This is not an issue for me; if a user has multiple tabs open, placing a wager on one tab will invalidate the login on the others.

Now over 700 Bitcoin invested.

Also at over 22,000 Bitcoin wagered, ~165 Bitcoin in investor profits, and 185,000,000 bets made.

Smiley

Woo, congrats! Those are some nice numbers Smiley

I'm still kicking myself for pulling out after that big plinko win instead of sticking around...looks like my investment would have recovered very nicely by though. Looks like it might be time to get back on the investment horse Cheesy

Keep in mind that it's up 165 at the moment with a BR of 728. That'd be around 20%. BUT a lot of the increase in profit was at a much lower BR. If you invested at the beginning of the year you'd be up like 50%+ by now I believe.

I got a little question, following the profit the last days and i noticed that the profit seems to tick down gradually, at the End of the day it jumps and gets positive, but i was just wondering what caused this,
since other casinos go up gradually.
Is this faucet betting or something else?

What do you mean by 'end of the day' ?!? What day are you referring to?

MP is available and accessed globally, so it is always being played during the 'day' somewhere, by someone. That said, the pattern you see I suspect is driven by the timezone of MP's largest group of players, or perhaps a handful of larger players.
Right, what i Mean is in the 12hours when i Check the profit, every hour or 2 hours, and just refresh every 2seconds it seems that 80% of the time it Goes Down with little amounts.
Maybe try it yourself? Could Be pure coincidence but i just noticed that

I believe this would just be coincidence.  There are peak times when larger players wager, but beyond that, nobody can really accurately predict how the variance of the investors' profit will be handled.
Yeah probally, thought it might Have been martingale or a dice Game with High odds, that would explain the ticking Down and then recovering

Hey, Helix61be, to give you some reference, as an investor, my profits have been on the upswing nicely for the past month. There were only two days that reported at a loss, one of which consisted of one particular user winning over 11BTC within that 24hr period. My investments recovered nicely, and I'm now sitting on roughly +/-5% above what I invested last month.

5% in a month? That is a lot better than I thought, and I probably would invest some of my bitcoin in MP (I totally understand the risk involved and the future return rate is uncertain, don't worry about that Smiley)

I was just having a great conversation about my investments on my favorite MP site (Bit-Exo.com: shameless plug haha) about how I'm not a gambler. I play on the site, and as you can see from my MoneyPot profile, I've wagered quite a bit there. It's still nothing compared to what others have wagered, but the surest thing I've done with MoneyPot is to invest some of my coins into bankrolling their sites and apps.

Yeah, I know there's a risk by doing so, but overall, it's been paying off for me Smiley That's the safest form of "gambling" I'd recommend for you guys, but as an investor, I'd prefer if you actually gambled on the MoneyPot apps lol. So yeah, go do that Smiley

Good luck!
