Currently too many coins and tokens are worthless, the intense competition of over 10,000 coins/tokens makes only about 1000 still valuable. this is what makes me will make crypto for short-term investment (less than 6 months).

This is absolutely true, I have a few coins from 2017 which was worth alot, but today have become worthless or even lost 90% of their value even when we had a massive bull run they didn't pump, same will apply for cryptocurrencies we are having today, in a few years from now they would become worthless, some have already become dead in a space of just a month sometimes just a week or two, shitcoins are just everywhere.

Yes definitely, we have already seen this happening from past bull run to this bull run. Many of the coins never got pumped and stayed dead like there is no bull run. It is never a good choice to invest in alts and hold them for the long term. Only some of the top alts are going to stay alive and work on their implementation.

Some coins even died even before they launch even on their ICO or crowdfunding stage, there are many HYIP types of coins launch on a daily because of the HYIP smart contract so check if the coin you are holding is one of them, so many developers are only thinking on how to scam you only trust coins with a proven worth in the market.

If not all the majorities of those so-called developers are only looking for quick gains, they not really aiming to develop and to present decent projects, most of it are just copied from original project and they are adding alluring features to grab investors attentions.

Being furious and always have a good mindsets in preparing yourself into investment is very important, it is a must that you always do your DYOR before committing in any project that you are aiming to support and invest both your time and money.

Well, i am not completely agree with your opinion. If we look Doge coin, do you think Doge coin can do things ? The answer is no, it is only a meme coin,
but why Doge coin market cap is huge and valuable ? It was because the hypes, and people bought it when the hype happen. This phenomenon can be occurred on other meme coins too if there are some proper marketing strategies from the team to create hype from the promotions.

after they bought during the hype because of the hot news, and finally the price fell drastically, so most investors are still waiting to come back again, or even many assume that later it will also rise again. it can happen immediately if someone pumps it

Well, i am not completely agree with your opinion. If we look Doge coin, do you think Doge coin can do things ? The answer is no, it is only a meme coin,
but why Doge coin market cap is huge and valuable ? It was because the hypes, and people bought it when the hype happen. This phenomenon can be occurred on other meme coins too if there are some proper marketing strategies from the team to create hype from the promotions.

The only altcoins that will survive and grow in value are the ones that satisfy some real demand like Monero or of course Ethereum. And those alts are for long term investments. All these worthless coins like Shiba or Doge are for trading and it's really short period of time when you can actually trade it before it becomes zero value for the whole market.

The one things I've learned in crypto space is riding the waves when available, if DeFI is rocking then rock along, if NFT is rocking then rock along and when things start looking weak just exit, I warned many when BTC hit 54k it was a perfect time to exit your coins into USDT and wait for bear market but oh Greed is alive I guess, now it's bear 🐻🐻🐻 seasons

A few years ago, I remember that there's a few coin with a good project are develop and launched in the market with a good price but lessthan a year these project are dead, now it's our choice to choose a good and stable project, that's why I'll always suggest to go to some good defi project like sushi and pancake, these project made for long term and you can also earn a real passive income by staking cake and other coin inside their platform.

That can be possible and is possible also that only Bitcoin and ETH just left around, and the rest are dead. But, I never think that going to happen, because in that case, early as 5 years, investors are leaving in crypto already. Of course, there is no sense in staying in crypto if we see no gains happening, I'd better look outside where I can make use of my money and wait for the returns ( as possible).

yes, that is being a responsible holder. if you invest significantly on a particular coin, it is your choice how to manage such investment. and to secure your portfolio, you need to keep up with their updates before it is too late. it is not the dev's fault if they are giving announcements regarding the swap and the schedule, and yet, you missed it.
but the situation of having tokens or coins becoming worthless- i have seen that in my eth tokens before. didn't sell them because was hoping that they will be valuable in the market, turned out, only few of them made it and almost all of them went down the drain.
so right now, better invest in top alts with strong use case, that you know they can survive even after few years in the market.

I'm actually really concerned about newbies who are trapped by shitcoins like shiba...

there are many who bet their money on meme tokens as if they are gambling. the best cryptocurrencies will not give you a big profit overnight because it has the potential to give you a loss overnight too. stay away from token memes and invest in coins that already have a great reputation and real use.

Even before I have a lot of coins in my wallet with out any value and worthless. Now that there are so many different projects rises from nowhere, we can expect more worthless coin in crypto market as the time goes by. All we need to do is to become careful in choosing a coins to buy and invest.
