Well then, just stick to the coins that have already proven itself and have 10% of your funds being juggled in between obscure coins, they might become worthless in the near future but that doesn't mean that you can't make profit out of it while it's still going hot.

There is an easy way to get ahead of this and prevent you from buying shitcoins and losing money over the years. It's best to invest in the top coins already. Many coins show potential, but it's almost always going to be the same as the top coins in terms of features. There's nothing too original about it unless it involves improvement in the protocols that a particular currency is already using.

I think many people are hoping for the next DOGE and betting on these different meme coins that are popping up everywhere and hoping that it will boom and go to the moon as well.

What's your point then? If there are coins that won't have any value in the future, what would happen next then? You are a pretentious smarty pants OP so you might want to explain it a bit further,
Which point are you refuting though? What OP said was common knowledge, but it ain't wrong.

why compare it to dot com bubble? Can I watch videos or socialize with other people with these coins?
I'm pretty sure the comparison was concerning the cryptocurrency space and the dotcom bubble having very high levels of speculation, not necessarily the use-cases.

We will see many of that coins from that thousands of coins will disappear and abandon by the developer because the project can not continue. Only the coin that has support from many people will survive and will continue to rise.

It will be like that from time to time. Besides the dead coins, we will see many coins will release almost every day, replacing the coins that will disappear. If you can be careful to select the coins, you will have a long-term coin that can give you profitable.

You must have read the history of the Soviet Union which broke into 15 countries, from 15 former Soviet countries, now developing and some are dying, all of that is not immune from the role of leaders and society.

It has to be said. Its common sense. There are thousands of coins. Scamcoin, losercoin, Shiba coin. All real coins btw.

Your story about the thousands of Altcoins that are mushrooming in the crypto market today cannot be separated from the creators and the team to develop these Altcoins in the market.

For now I have to really assess something that is not independent of who the creator of the Altcoin is, where the coin is headed, who is involved / the team in it, what is clear is that I do not leave Bitcoin, even though there are thousands of altcoins in the market today.

Nowadays it is quite easy to make a coin / airdrop just to own some famous coins like BNB etc, for that you have to really aim at all of that, not half-hearted with a million supply capacity, for what....!

Be careful the ruler / money can plunge you in the deepest hole until you are buried without getting up.

Here's a snapshot of the top coins on CoinMarketCap on June 28th, 2018 (the crash after the 2017 bull market): https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20180624/

A lot of the coins close to the top are now far down. Just to show how hit or miss which cryptocurrencies actually end up surviving the long-term.

Of course, there is no need pointing this out. As you said, this is common sense.

During the golden days of ICO in 2017, the crypto market is flooded with all kinds of crypto projects offering their own tokens. You could imagine the world is indeed turning into blockchain and everything is already tokenized. Crypto projects widely vary. There are those which focused on tokenizing the music industry, real estate, transportation, ticketing system, and so on.

And there are also those which focused on tokenizing health, agriculture, textile industry, VR, reward system, streaming, gaming industry, porn, and probably hundreds more.

Billions and billions of USD flowed into these projects. More or less a year later, 99% of them had died. This is no different from the kind of hype that characterizes NFT, DeFi, and others.

Yes there will be a couple coins that are very valuable in a couple years but the vast majority of them will be worthless.

Only coins that do things will be valuable. Coins that you have that are just there to hopefully go up on value so you can profit will be worthless.

Its like the dot com boom. You are betting on websites. Which website is going to get the most visitors. Most died.
