This is pretty much experienced before, people that got in crypto currency market in previous cycles already learned that the hard way. There are some major altcoins that survived all those crashes and bear market but because they serve purpose in the ecosystem. We saw too many coins with big volume at some point died slowly, big exchanges gone, it always changes. New technology and new needs brought us new coins, most of the existed ones stop being developed. It's very hard to pick which coin to stay in ecosystem 5 or 10 years later. That's why when we put our hard earned money into crypto currencies we have to be aware of risks and don't put all eggs in one basket.
We don't have to warn them, even newbies behave as if they know better right now simply because it looks like bear market isn't ever coming so they keep hoping that shiba coin and other meme coins turn them into millionaires, they are literally scam projects that won't survive a week with real bear market
at least this can be a big lesson for those who want instant profit without thinking. I do not deny that many new coins or tokens are pumped big beyond old coins or tokens that have better potential and functions. but look at some more time, where are all those shitcoins?The choice is in the hands of each, want long-term or short-term investment. But i believe that a solid project will not be worthless, as long as the team and community not abandoning it.

It's always been that way the mass majority of coins in the market will soon die, it's a continuous purge of the market, developers keep creating a coin according to the trend in the market, and when that trend ended, that's the end of the life of the coin, coins that are not in the top 100 for a long time will soon become part of the purge so always check the spot where the coin that you've invested in the market.

There are literally hundreds of coins in the market. And it is very obvious that most of the those coins are shitcoins that will die soon. Most people know this, but they still invest in those coins. Just in case they get lucky. You either make some quick profit or you lose everything. Look at the market few years ago. See how many of those shitcoins survived. Almost none! Hence, if you are planning to hold long term, make sure you hold coins that are well developed. In the previous bear market, 90-95% of the coins were trash. People who have experienced this are very cautious right now.

Unfortunately, this is the case, most cryptocurrencies were created only for the sake of receiving money and therefore most cryptocurrencies do not have any technologies, no product, in general, nothing at all, and therefore such cryptocurrencies live small amount of time and you should always invest with huge caution in such cryptocurrencies if you want to invest in them, therefore, it is better to always invest in top and proven cryptocurrencies and there will be no problems.

That is sad thing to hear about that most of the coin we have is going to be worthless if not real, or if not being pump up as potential ones, even if you hold it for a year there still no guarantee of getting it high, all we can do is to really look for the possible coin and hopefully it will eventually become great one and make profit out of it.

Even among the new projects that are coming online nowadays, I could notice new innovations in only a small number of coins. Remainder are mostly old wine in new bottle. and this is where DYOR would really matter. This is indeed a risky market if you do make yourself get blinded with greed and desperation but if you do know on what you are doing
then you should be fine. Its a matter of profits or loss depending into your decision been made.
This is sad to be true for I have already experienced such thing a couple of times already that those valuable coins I do have from the recent years I have been into crypto were already worthless and it seems people have already forgotten about those coins. Well there really be an end for most of the coins in the market because imagine having lots of existing crypto coins in the market, people will really see to it on keep on supporting the top ones and the bottom will be worthless once people have already been switching into other valuable coins more than the other.
Actually what is written in topic name is true. If Bitcoin, number one crypto and most popular one is not adopted yet and not used as a regular payment. Then altcoins are far away from being used and demanded. Also, new alts appear everyday. They dont live long.
its only used on its own ecosystem atleast, holder can use their token that have many utility and no matter it will adopted or not as regular payment. altcoin with no utility will die immediately , no one can use this token and demand not created at all.
thats normal, and every address have worthless thing, not only one. sometime you will get great thing, although you never think about that stuff, never update story, never touch their community, but give you big value.
