I won't say that "all" altcoins are going to be trash next year, there are still interesting altcoins out there that you should look for but many of them are going to be kicked off to the market due to the dominance of the king.

I think you should also cover the projects that can really have a higher swings than these blue chips of crypto. Like those undervalued ones that will have a potential to be in the top 50 atleast in 2019.
I just try to say this based on the fact that already happened with ripple.
Even if Ripple gained an upper hand when the market declined right now, it will not change the fact that many peoples depised this coin a lot because of its centralization.
it is more like a bank, some of us are here for its decentralization and this kind of project does not meet their criteria.

People are generally either very bullish on it or very pessimistic but I think credits could be the star performed of 2019. Their mainnet is due the end of this year and they've used most of 2018 to develop. They offer real world solutions to many of cryptos issues and already have some major partners with more in line.
