I think it will be RedBull itself, as Marshall was working with Red Bull on the 2026 engine project, among other things. I know it wasn't exactly with the development of the engines, but a combination of how they should fit into the car, or something like that. In his new role at McLaren, Marshall appears to be ready to take responsibility for securing this partnership, and during an event that took place for the Spanish press this was even asked... whether Marshall could be linked to the possible deal regarding the engine with Red Bull from 2026. The answer was not conclusive, he said that a partnership with Red Bull is not imminent, but he did not deny it, which could be a good sign and I believe that this partnership will indeed happen.
On the one hand, developing your own engine is an expensive pleasure and it will be understandable for Red Bull to compensate for part of the costs by presenting its engine to other teams. On the other hand, it is absolutely not a fact that Red Bull will be able to continue successfully conducting its engineering research in the field of engine building in the future, yet the same Honda does not just produce engines for Formula 1, but they have the necessary competencies in the conventional automotive industry.

Maybe Honda

Honda will go away.

RBR bought/will buy the Honda engine division of the F1 and will produce the engine with Honda technology by themself.

So if it will be, it will RBR engine.

Maybe Honda might supply an engine for McLaren but I also don't know what will happen. I've heard Honda are planning to be the engine supplier for Aston Martin as of 2026. Let's say they decided to be the supplier of more teams then McLaren might be a candidate for that. We have seen how powerful engines Honda have made so far. Especially Red Bull are doing great with the help of them as well.

The big problem for Mclaren.
As you may know, they announced their divorce from Mercedes earlier this year. Now they are in a situation where no one wants to give them an engine for 2026.

Do we really risk losing them?

Mercedes is out
Ferrari almost impossible
Redbull will do his own engine.
The only one is Alpine at this point.

McLaren really needs to upgrade their car much more than this. Even when they have a big budget they can't prepare a strong car which is another interesting point. But at least they can invest into the future of the team. It would be great to see a deal between McLaren and Honda for engine. This would be a nice step forward.

1-2 For Ferrari's pole position in the 24 hours of LeMans.

They did a pole after, 50 years!

I think they need to try this car on the F1  Grin

MotoGP at Mugello is always interesting to look forward to, apart from the favorites for the hosts, Bagnaia and the MooneyVR46 team, but now the MotoGP competition is quite even and fierce, so it cannot be guaranteed that the host racer will easily win.
Enea Bastianini's comeback will be interesting to look forward to, he is a potential racer that allows him to be at the forefront.
FP1 is over and I have seen several riders who have tried to make progress on their own laps, even though in the top three there was no home rider in the FP1 session. Because Bezzecchi was only able to finish fourth, while Bagnaia and Luca Marini were still outside the top fifteen in the FP1 session, I hope Bagnaia can provide more fierce competition in this race at Mugello even though his ankle is still not completely healed.

For me Mugello is the best track for MotoGP after Netherlands of course which they call it the university of MotoGP at Assen.Mugello is a great track that has a big straight in the beginning which would give benefits to people as most likely it will be a race which will be fought by many riders in close proximity like it has been the case in the previous seasons and the fans want action which luckily is not absent here like Formula 1 where it has become really boring in the last couple of races.I hope that we see some really good action and maybe the riders like Bagnaia start to recover as Bezzechi after the last win in France is just one point behind and in that race he got away from all other riders.
Soon FP2 will also start today and I'm also looking forward to watching it because it's true as you said that Mugello is the best track for MotoGP apart from several other tracks on the MotoGP calendar, so I will always watch any session here (Mugello) because there is a special pleasure when all the riders are fighting to get their best time before starting the Sprint Race and Race the next day.

There have been rumours linking Hamilton with Ferrari for next season. They don't look like they will go away easily either. I didn't take it seriously first but now I'm wondering if this might really happen. Ferrari technically have a more powerful car than Mercedes now. But the mistakes with the strategies are just killing the races of their drivers.

Mercedes have started to make some good improvement as well though. They had 2 drivers on podium in Spain. But I don't know if Mercedes have a brighter future than Ferrari now. Honestly as long as Ferrari keep the people in the team who play a big role in these mistakes, there is no meaning in Hamilton's joining Ferrari.

This rumour was already refuted by Hamilton not much time ago. It is the truth that Mercedes and Hamilton have had some issues with a contract renewal. They couldn't agree terms about the salary if I'm not mistaken. But I've read that Hamilton made a statement on this topic to end these rumours who knows where they came from. He stated clearly that he was close to reaching an agreement with Mercedes for a new contract. I think it would be the best for Hamilton considering all these years.

Maybe Mercedes is trailing behind Red Bull for now but Red Bull also had these times in the past. It is all about a solid development. If Mercedes works hard on this during the season they might really prepare a competitive car for Hamilton to go for his 8th title.

By the way Ferrari is horrible about strategies now so it would have been a really bad choice for Hamilton to go there now.  Grin

This weekend MotoGP is back at the title at the Mugello circuit and from some news I read it turns out that Pol Espargaro still failed to make a comeback at Mugello this weekend because of his own team's explanation that Espargaro still has "a small problem of edema around his spine,". Apart from that, Enea Bastianini will comeback this weekend after being declared fit to race and I predict there will be quite a tough race at Mugello this weekend as the home riders like Bagnaia and the MooneyVR46 team will try to compete at the front for the win at home.

@Velvet78 if Ferrari can get Hamilton then it’ll be a big coup for them and I believe that their partnership could yield positive results for all the parties. Furthermore I’m sure that Hamilton would have observed those technical mistakes and would likely seek assurances that they won’t be repeated when he joins them and if Ferrari is able to reduce those mistakes then they can start dreaming of dominating races again with Hamilton at the helm.

Alvaro Bautista wiped out the first podium in the WSBK event at the San Marino Misano circuit in Italy with his Ducati motorbike. Toprak who defended Yamaha was frustrated because he was unable to win in Race1, SP Race and also in Race2 even though Toprak was always on the podium in all three races. But Toprak was unable to reach the first podium because the Ducati ridden by Alvaro Bautista was still very powerful and untouched by anyone so that all the first podiums in Misano belonged to Alvaro Bautista.

Next stop for F1 ; Canada.

A lovely track with awesome track history during the years but I really hoping to see a new winner because if we continue to see Max dominating like this , it will only make the situation worse for neutral F1 fans but it will also remind us of how dominant Michael was in 2003 with his Ferrari. Now , I don't think he will witness Redbull winning all the races but there are big chances that they will win 85% of the remaining races.

The opportunity for RBR to be able to win the Canadian GP is quite big, considering that in several aspects RBR is superior on this circuit. It looks like we're going to see another boring race, where Max will be racing in a different league compared to the other drivers. I just hope that the other drivers can put up a good fight against Max, even though their chances of getting on the 1st podium are quite small, at least Max won't be able to swing to 1st position as easily as in yesterday's Spanish race.

I think that this track is the one where we should least expect a different winner other than Redbull,it is a track which has it all, great turns which put a lot of test in the aerodynamics and it is exactly in these turns that the difference is made through the lap as in the big straights there is not a lot of difference between the top teams.Again here DRS plays an important role and overtaking is guaranteed here,I only hope that this track is more gentle to the tires as the turns here are only a few compared to Spain GP and this can make a whole lot difference in the developing of the race.
Not a chance, like I said before and will say all season long, unless someone hits Max and crashes his car, that dude will win every single race, unless he loses to Perez here and there which I do not think will happen that frequently but not impossible neither to be fair. Red Bull will win every single race, the only possibility for them not to win would be either their own cars breaking down, or some other car hitting them making their car not go this fast.

This isn't impossible in formula 1, it has happened before and it could happen again and we could see them not win it, but it will not be because of any track. Canada has nothing special about it compared to any other track, either Max will not be touched and he will win, or he will crash and not win, that's for every single track.

Another easy win for RBR without even pushing at 100%.
Good recovery from Mercedes but they are still probably almost 1 second slower then RBR in a single lap in the race.

Disaster Ferrari as usual.
This race wasn't much more exciting than Monaco, even with that chican in 3rd sector removed, Barcelona is still quite boring track. Max is simply racing in other league. With few bad races in a row for Perez, Max lead against him is already 53 points. All talks that he can give fight for Verstappen is over now.
That was very solid double podium for Mercedes. They were so confident today and nobody weren't able to challenge them. And Ferrari just being Ferrari, as usual.
A double podium on a technical track definitely shows that Mercedes is improving. James Allison's influence had an immediate effect on the vehicle. I think Hamilton will sign a 2 year contract in a short time. Fia, who hurriedly put obstacles while Ferrari flew away at the beginning of the 2019 and 2022 seasons, was silent for some reason as the Red Bull flew away this season. The same thing happened in the das case of Mercedes. For some reason this in-season regulation lottery only hits Ferrari. But Ferrari also has a lot to blame. The car, which is already troubled in terms of tuning and tire consumption, has reached the level of finishing hard tires in 17 laps with the update. I guess a lot of people must have thought even rain could bring a lot of fun to this race but it was one of the most boring races of the season. With this vehicle, redbull has guaranteed not only this year but also the next year.

Again, we watched a race that was completely under Verstappen's control. I don't think anyone will be able to force him this year. Upgrades of cars don't work very well. There is a huge gap in between teams.
When do you think Ferrari will fix problems guys? How far will they go this way? They make everyone laugh.
It's been a good race day for Mercedes, after a long break they made a double podium. Aston Martin's rise is noteworthy. There is no struggle for the first place in the rankings of the teams, but there is a serious competition for the next. It's unfortunate that the enjoyment we have had from Formula 1 this season has been low.

Verstappen's race was nearly perfect. He got 3 warnings for track limits at turn 10 and was warned by his team to be more careful. But he still asked for what the fastest lap was and just went for it. Even if he failed and got a 5-second penalty nothing would have changed for him. Because the gap with Hamilton was such a huge one that even getting this penalty 4 times would have kept him ahead.

Poor Leclerc! His team don't even listen to him about the tyre choice for his next pit. He underlined the soft tyres and Xavi confirmed him. But in pit Xavi said that they were going to change to hard ones instead. Leclerc has had this kind of awkward strategy mistakes because of bad team calls. Someone should stop this nonsense or Ferrari will cost their drivers to have another season full of simple mistakes.
