I actually like nearly all the street tracks except the Monaco one.  Tongue  The reason why I don't like that is the races there are just boring without overtakes. But Baku is not like that. RBR still has a chance to improve their car, because this is F1 and anything can happen. So we can't say that McLaren can win the championship and nothing can stop it, it's possible that RBR and Ferrari improve their performance. And talking about Max, yeah he might be disappointed with his team's performance in recent times, but that doesn't make him lose faith in RBR, remember that RBR gave him the best car in 2023, and he still believes that RBR can give him a car like that again. marquez deserved the podium after how he slumped when he was with honda and he was able to adapt well to this bike and give the best results. even if i am not a fan of him, i am happy to see how he got the podium that he has been waiting for. he is now in third position in the motogp standing, and that is already a very good result that he can show and most likely he can still increase his points.
If we talk about Marquez's standings, he has just taken it back from Bastianini who also occupied that position before the Aragon Race. This means that the third position occupied by Marquez is still not so safe considering his distance from Bastianini in fourth place in the standings and this weekend MotoGP will be held again at the San Marino Misano circuit in Italy which is the home of Italian riders so we hope there will be much fiercer competition so that the show does not become boring.

Misano is a great track and a really technical one so of course it would not be a boring race. The crash of Bagnaia last weekend gave a boost to Martin chances to continue to fight and now also in theory Marquez can fight for the title so for sure it is going to be a great race and thank you for reminding me as usually when there is no F1 I almost always forgot to check for MotoGP races. That crash truly made things way very much balanced now with Martin leading with 299 points, followed by Bagnaia with 276 and then Marquez with 229 as I don't consider for the title fight Bastianini, that guy is way to much inconsistent as most likely will start to fall down in the standings. This is open as much as Formula 1 is although I don't know the number of races remaining here which should lower than F1 and as such to boost the chances of the top 2 guys to fight for the title most likely.

Misano's Moto GP is coming, FP1 and Practice has just done and the top 3 readers showed their best in these stage.
At FP1, Martin was the 1st and Marc93 was 2nd while Pecco was on 8th only but at the Practice, Pecco become the fastest, Marc 2nd and Martin 3rd.
It seems that Marc is motivated with his previous win at Aragon and he wants another win at Misano, if he can make another win(s) in the upcoming races, it will make the competition for the championship become more interesting.
Looking forward for the qualification stage and would be nice to see these 3 top riders will be on the pole position and we'll have the chance to see competitive race.

^  Thinking back again about Adrian Newey's move to Aston Martin...  If it's actually happening, then I don't know how f*cked he is.  The team should get rid of Lance Stroll and get a proper driver to its no. 1.  Alonso will play the role of the aging second driver with more experience.

For less money, Newey would surely have a better chance to win titles with Ferrari.  He'll have two quality drivers and each having a chance to win the WDC granting that they have a decent car that could get to the podium every race.

Every team send components to FIA and FIA do the standard tests, if the wings pass the stress tests, with weight in different places at different "speeds" then Wings are no bannable.

If teams do something else cleaver to get a flex wing in others cases then FIA needs to change the tests.

As you said this is not the first time, RBR were the one abusing it like 5 years ago.

Second win for him in Ferrari's Gp.

Another missed opportunity for Mclearen, another win lost, with a better strategy and a no fight on lap 1 between them it was an easy win.

Yup totally unexpected.  I kinda stopped focusing on the race when I thought Piastri was gonna win it.  But then I got back into it at the last three laps and was totally surprised that Leclerc was leading.  Lol.  I guess I'll watch the highlights at F1's YT.  It also looks like Leclerc is starting to come on his own.  I saw some clips of him telling his team to stfu when they kept bugging him about some brake setting.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

And yeah, both of Leclerc's wins are special to him...  Monaco and Italy.  The former is where he lives, the other one is his team's home race.  Good one for Leclerc.  Love to see him win.
Basically Mclaren thought that two stints was the way to go (most everyone did so) and Ferrari probably made a mistake that just got lucky and did one stint. Surely the pit stop gives you about 20-25 seconds of break, but then you get fresher tires and go faster, and McLaren had the speed so they thought they could, but somehow Ferrari just kept it going for further and di not lose the position and won.

It's clear that one sting was better option, but looks like it will not be all that much of a good news in the end for Ferrari since they just won by luck. Mclaren will keep on being better and they will keep on getting good results, it is not a secret that we are going to see this situation working for Mclaren for this season and probably next one too.

Stint?  You mean pit?  Yeah...  But if I remember it right Leclerc had the mediums then the hards and just managed his tires better than Norris and Piastri who were forced to pit again.  So it wasn't luck.  It was all part of the plan imho as the hards prolly has a good 30 laps in them if managed really well.

Anyway it's prolly starting to look like a season for the McLaren to lose.  But they have another year to go at it before the new rules on 2026.
