I think Max showed class once again, while everyone is talking about Lando Norris, Max managing to finish second with such a car is a marvellous achievement.

Look at perez for comparison, dude was like tenth or something and I believe that Max is doing what can't be done with that car, put any other driver from the grid on that car and they can't be second, but in any case Max still lost points to Lando and the gap is getting very close, Max is still in luck and if they can keep this up then I am pretty sure that Max has the higher chance of finishing first, Lando has to keep winning and I doubt that Lando will end up winning every single race, it doesn't look like it will be the case and we are going to see him finish not so well eventually and that would be the reason for him to lose.

While Mclaren is a great car, I think it's clear that we are not going to see him win. That race where Lando gave up the win to Piastri will go down as one of the worst decisions of any team ever, they will win the constructors anyway, and them losing the drivers championship because of a team order will go down in history, I think the gap between Lando and Max at the end will be as small as that one.

I also hope that the Japanese manufacturers can catch up again, but I don't think they will manage to catch up with Ducati until there is a rule change to the engine and simplified aerodynamics.

As for the race itself today, a big setback for Baganaia with the crash, but congratulations to Bastianini and the overtaking manoeuvre on the last lap.
Due to Bagnaia's crash yesterday in the Emilia Romagna race, this has widened the points gap between him and Martin so Bagnaia still needs to work hard to be able to reduce the points gap at the end of this week because at the end of this week MotoGP will take place in Mandalika Indonesia. Even though previously there was news that the race in Indonesia had the potential to be canceled due to financial problems, it turned out that this could be overcome by certain parties so that the race in Indonesia could be held this season without any changes.

What do you think about Enea's winning by overtaking Martin that I can say as a bit non sportive move as Enea force himself to overtake from the inside which forced Martin get wide because if he didnt then there would be a crash.
Although the stewards has already made the decision that there is no fault made by Enea but if I watch the replay many times, I think Enea should be penalised because I think his movement was so dangerous.
Of course this is just my own opinion and others may have different opinion, I do even think that Pecco or Marquez will not be that aggresive if they were on Enea's position and situation.

The Singapore GP was the race that confirmed the end of Verstappen's and Red Bull's dynasty. One or two DNFs for Red Bull this year and the WDC will shift to Norris. F1 management has to make a decision now. They shouldn't keep changing the rules because someone is dominating.

In 2014 the rule changed for Red Bull, in 2022 it changed for Mercedes, now in 2026 it will change again for Red Bull and with this change we will be back to 2000s style cars. I wonder if there is a formula for this because the races are getting boring with the constant change of regulations. It shouldn't be too difficult to stabilize this situation. That way everyone can compete better with each other. Even in the Vettel-Red Bull era, there were legendary rivalries, even though RB dominated the races. I hope we can go back to the old days.

What a boring race.
Luckly this should be one of the last years on this track.
Norris got an easy win today, the only opponent of Norris was Norris itself against the walls.

Good recovery from Ferrari, without the misstakes in the pole day, they would be in the podium for sure.

Glad I skipped it.  Lolol.

So what's up with the issue about Verstappen is getting punished and has to do some dumb community service and Hamilton telling the journos that Verstappen shouldn't do it because it's...  Dumb?  I mean really.  Just for saying the F word?  Cheesy

And was there a part in the race when Piastri and Norris almost crashed against each other?  There are memes going around that before the drivers go to the podium, Piastri was asking Norris with out using swear words, what did he feel in that moment?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

But now I've searched on google and they are saying that they will stay here AT LEAST 2028 with a multy year extension agreement with Singapore and FIA

Oh, then there is nothing to do about it.  Sad  I just wish Formula 1 accepted only the tracks with more comfortable overtakes on them. It would be really helpful for this sport to draw more attention from viewers.

McLaren is closing in on the constructors championship by every race... It is already a gap of 41 points with Red Bull. If Ferrari didn't mess up then they could have also got close very much to Red Bull. Now we we have a break of one month once again. Teams have enough time to finish their upgrades for the remaining 6 races. I hope Ferrari also takes advantage of this time period. They can still have a better finish.

I agree fully with that. I got really bored because of the nature of the track. They say they added another DRS zone onto it but it didn't change anything. Even the start of the race was boring just I don't know what to say more...  Sad

I would like to see this track removed from the calendar together with the Monaco one.  Tongue  Some people say they like Monaco for example and it makes me very surprised. How do you enjoy a race with 0 overtake???

Anyways coming back to today's race, a comfortable victory by Norris. But it doesn't look very possible for him to win his first title this year. If he didn't fail in some races previously then maybe he would stand a chance for real.

Actually we got a few overtakes on the new DRS zone but the cars are near their tecnical limit now and we are back in 2019/2020 were it was almost impossible to overtake expecially in these kinda tracks.
About removing the track, I was pretty sure that Singapore has not renown his contract with FIA, so when it will expire they will not coming back here.

But now I've searched on google and they are saying that they will stay here AT LEAST 2028 with a multy year extension agreement with Singapore and FIA

Norris won really easily today. I was only wondering what kind of a start he was going to have. Because you know how he starts slowly in the races he starts from pole position normally.  Tongue

But there wasn't any problem at all. This helped him to increase the time gap with Verstappen significantly much before even reaching the half of the race.  Wink  Verstappen at least had enough pace to keep other cars behind comfortably. This is really important for him considering the existence of a threat about losing the title. I wish Ferrari were better than this... They were doing really good in constructors but this is a big hit.

Here is the full race results:

Congratulations to Norris for winning the Singapore race, I was sure from the start that he would win this race easily, even when Max was chasing him since this track is almost the same as Monaco and there was not much that Max could do. And my prediction on Ferrari was quite right that Charles could get P5 and Sainz got P7, that's not a bad result either. Overall this race was not that exciting, not much overtaking or outstanding action.
But there was something sad about this race, it seems that Daniel will not be driving VCARB again - seen from Max who paid tribute to his friend and the interview after the race - he seems to be replaced by Liam because his performance has not improved. It's a shame, but there's nothing he can do. Hopefully Daniel can be successful outside of F1, I will miss him.

With four Yamaha motorbikes on the grid next season of course this will be better than before in terms of development and with two Pramac Racing riders who already have experience of course this will be very useful for Yamaha in terms of development next season.
Many updates that Yamaha will make next season will certainly give them new hope to rise from their slump in the last few years and with a new leader next season plus an experienced satellite team next season we all hope that Yamaha will be able to compete again next season.
The Yamaha manufacturer still has to improve more next season, as well as other Asian manufacturers such as Honda which this season has only been a complement in the back row in every race. And today Enea Bastianini was really extraordinary in racing until he was able to win after overtaking Jorge Martin on the last lap who was leading the race. While Bagnaia and Pedro Acosta had to fall in today's race so that Marquez could reach the third podium and that has again made the gap in the standings to 24 points where Martin is still the leader of the standings. Congratulations to Enea Bastianini who has successfully brought Ducati to taste its 100th victory in MotoGP today.

and about jack miller, his joining pramac racing is quite interesting news, because they are using yamaha engines which they have never used before. the combination of miller and yamaha will be a very good combination because he has experience and yamaha really wants to support pramac racing with the resources they have, this will put jack miller and pramac racing in pretty good shape.
I also hope that the yamaha factory can improve the engine and develop a better chassis next season because next season there will be four riders who will use the yamaha engine and that should be able to benefit yamaha itself a little. Because the yamaha factory has also chosen a new leader in their team so the big hope is that they can experience better development for their riders such as rins, quartararo, oliveira and miller next season.

After few good races, disaster for both Ferrari and Perez.

Question of the day, can Lando do the 1st lap ahead? Probably no.

So Bagnaia won the sprint race ahead of Martin, so he should be able to do the same tomorrow. For me, it's going to be a duel between Martin and Bagnaia again this year, I don't think Marc has a chance to get involved.

I do not think that practice sessions really show anything that big, but yes we can say that Ferrari and Mclaren looks like the best cars without a doubt, it's clear that we are seeing them lead the races quite frequently and I do not think that it will change that much.

The constructors will end up being Mclaren unless something shocking happens, the only question left about the season is if Lando Norris could win the title or not, and I think there is a possibility but it's getting harder, Lando needs to win some races back to back, and Max seems like he is not going for podium, so I think if Lando could win, then we could see him get the title. Only a few races left, Singapore is a street one, I think Ferrari and Sainz will definitely have a chance here, he is great there.

Qualifying is over with Norris taking pole position for tomorrow's race. It wasn't an easy qualifying for him, as he felt the pressure and lack of confidence, but he finally managed to get pole position. As for Max, I've never seen him this happy with his car, it seems his struggle to get P2 paid off, even though he had to finish behind Norris but he still has a chance to win this race. And as for Charles, it seems Sainz's crash made him a little less confident and he had to finish in P9 - it might be a tough race for the Ferrari duo, at least if they can get a top 5 position tomorrow it would be a great thing.

I hope not only Yamaha, but also Honda because if these 2 factories can improve their bike better then the competition will be much attractive.
Having a season dominated by a single factory only is a bit boring although the competition between riders is also good but it will be better to see more competitive bikes and riders.

Today's sprint went very well for Bagnaia and Martin and for Bastianini as well because all three started from the front row and also ended it on the podium although Martin led the Sprint race for a few laps before he went wide and Bagnaia came in to take over first position because it was an opportunity that Bagnaia had to really take advantage of today.

I did not watch today's sprint race from the start, I watched the last few laps only or 1-2 laps before Martin made the mistake.
After looking at the whole replay of the race, I think Pecco will still be the winner even if Martin did not make the mistake (wide) because Pecco shown that he was faster than Martin.
With the current points gap in the standing and after the big mistake by Martin in the previous race, I dont think Martin will make it easy to Pecco to win.

My god!!!

How is always Ferrari making the impossible to destroy themselves? Is incredible, they were for the first time in a ton of years close to be in a fight for the constructor championship and make this super shit performance in the qualy?

Now they have to try to recover everything tomorrow in the race.

About the top spots, first turn again, Max against Norris, what is gonna happen? The chance of a crash are high.
