The race was quite boring, the most interesting part was the recovery from Sainz but when the track dried up a little he couldn't go outside the "perfect line" and it was impossible to overtake more.

Hamilton did a mistake not listening to his team, does it cost the Mondial to him? we will see.

Ferrari may decide the Mondial in one direction or the another one, with the upgrade of the engine it seems they can fight maybe for wins.

One thing that did surprise me was the qualifying. I didn't expect both Mercs to be ahead of Verstappen. And even though he started from pole, I certainly didn't expect Bottas to be able to hold off Verstappen for the full race. I didn't manage to watch the race, I just followed bits of it on text, but it was surprising. Is this supposed to be a strong Merc track? If so, I wasn't aware. If not, then does it mean Mercedes are now looking stronger for the remaining races this season? Either way it seems fairly likely the championship won't be decided until the very last race.

I also didn't watch the race so much but Bottas winning the race a bit surprised me not gonna lie. He wasn't having that good of a year till now. He will be joining Alfa Romeo next year and before that he has won himself this race. If I'm not wrong, the Turkish track is slightly straightforward, so the Mercs will get some advantage not much, but these little things matter a lot in the longer run. But one thing I have to say is that Verstappen has been very consistent in the last couple of months. He has even now the ranked 1 racer overtaking Hamilton.

^  Did you really watch it?  The race was obv far from ‘amazing’.  Lol.  It was really boring except for the Leclerc vs Perez race battle.  But other than that, it was all so so..

Last year Turkey GP was much more exciting. It was raining heavily and we watched a lot of competition in the race. But this year was a bit more boring than last year, that's true.
However, it was much more enjoyable than most races this season. The race was slower than usual due to the slippery road. Tire choices played a big role in determining the ranking. Carlos Sainz performed very well but could not finish with a very good ranking due to mistakes in the team Smiley

Considering that track was vet, race probably wasn't most exciting. We didn't even had safety car on track and all 20 drivers reached finnish. Very confident Bottas win - he deserves it was very needed for him - this year isn't easy for him.
Max didn't had any chance to win today, but Red Bull should be happy about final result - double podium and Verstappen is championship leader again. 5th place for Hamilton - not great, not terrible. But I think that with earlier pit stop he would have chance to finnish on higher place.

I think overall Hamilton has to be satisfied with the result. Going into the weekend, no-one really expected Bottas to win. And looking at the starting grid, I would have thought Verstappen would win, and the best Hamilton could hope for was second place, and so losing 7 points (25-18). As it was, the Bottas win was crucial for Hamilton, as it limited his loss to 8 (18-10)... which is almost the same as him coming second behind Verstappen.

Well I think it is but not fully satisfied with the results as we saw that Ocon tyres were okay without doing a pitstop so I think Lewis strategy was better for him in that moment and keep fighting for that 4th position. instead of pitting and losing 2 positions but ...it's easy from our point of view to judge but on those moment you rarely get a 2nd chance to think so every decision must be on point.

The real big question is : Why did not Ferrari pit on the same time with Max and Lewis ? Because if he pitted then , he was doing a massive undercut and 2nd place was already locked for him but once again Ferrari strategist show us that they simply don't understand the undercuts.

Unfortunately, neither Ferrari or Mercedes has brought it to the end without a pit stop, with Charles Leclerc you have seen more clearly than with Lewis Hamilton that he has lost a lot of time on the approaching drivers Bottas and Verstappen, think Leclerc would have lost even more time without the pit stop, with Hamilton it was not so obvious, maybe he would have had a better place without the pit stop, the Mercedes and Hamilton are gentler with the tires than Ferrari, at least it looked that way.

Lets say the worst case for Quartararo, he will be able to lock the title even if he DNF but Bagnaia should not finish better than 15th (1 poin).

It seems impossible. It might happen but it's very difficult. I think Yamaha is really familiar at this circuit, but this Ducati is like home. So the possibility of Bagnaia being 1st place in San Marino is very open.
Indeed, there are many options that can happen to become champions, but the easier calculation is to win the San Marino Series.
Another threat may come from Marquez, he performed well even though he was not optimal. I think next season he will be able to compete with the top drivers.

Being a MotoGP racer is a fairly expensive sport that requires a big sponsor, so far there is no company in Indonesia willing to help young talents in MotoGP, but when Mandalika is opened there will be a trigger for interest in Indonesia in the future, this is a good way to host the race first.

If the racer has been an achievement, the sponsor will come with money, So far no racer from Indonesia to MotoGP, so the sponsor can't help.

There are still 3 races left, how about Quaratararo? I'm a little worried about his performance. Last year in the final series he did not perform well. Then the next series is in San Marino, there is ducati's house, whether Quartararo will soon get the first podium there. If tomorrow he is able to win it looks like the world champion already belongs to him.
He should be on the podium whatever position or he must pray for a new winner (not on top stand position) to the next race, when he gets a podium at least on 3rd position, he hopes Marquez and Valentino got the podium together as 1st and 2nd on Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. that my 2 cent guess.

Look like Quartararo is racing alone like no team.

this could change after Indonesia sanctioned by WADA, I hope they don't cancel the Moto Gp tournament at the Mandalika circuit.
I don't think so, that for a personal person or Athlete. Mandalika circuit is almost 100% ready for this year (2021), that we can see FIM Superbike on November 14, 2021, on schedule. certainty, Dorna Sports and FIM said MotoGP using Mandalika circuit for the next year. Maybe, at the end of this year, MotoGP racers will be testing out the circuit when they get a race tour in southeast Asia. but, we just watch, because there is no MotoGP racer from Indonesia.

This was somewhat a boring race overall.Except Lewis Hamilton doing everything he could in the wet conditions every other driver seemed to me like it didn't exist on track.A great victory for Bottas which could be as well as the last with Mercedes and maybe the last of his career if he continues to driver for under performing cars like Alfa Romeo from next season and up.Not much to say about this race, except a gamble from Vettel to try the medium tires with the yellow strap which didn't work as the track was enough wet to let him get back and put back on the intermediary tires.

Hamilton showed a good performance and congrats to Bottas on winning it. Verstappen came 2nd and Lando Norris and Sainz placed 7th and 8th respectively. I was really happy that Bottas won it even after staying under the shadow of Hamilton and as you have said, this might be his last win as if I'm not wrong, Mercedes' car is better than that of Alfa Romeo's.  And with 2nd place, Verstappen has taken the F1 World Championship lead from Hamilton. This Hamilton vs Verstappen rivalry is getting spicier every day.

Ocon finnished race without changing his tyres. Impressive, but it didn't bring very good result for him - P10 isn't something special:

I only watched the start of the race and the first 10 rounds or so and then i had to leave and it seems like i have not missed very much by doing that. I thought that today could be an interesting race again because of the rain but in the end the rain was pretty consistent over the whole course of the race and therefore there was not much going on in that regards too. Vettel was the only one that risked it and changed to slick tyres but he had to pay for it and finished only at position 18. I also feel sad for Mick Schumacher, that Alonso made him spin and that he felt back to his usual position because of that.

The chance for him to lock the world champion title is big, he does not need to win the race to lock the title.
As long as he finish in front of Bagnaia, it is enough for him to lock the title in the next race.

It was an amazing race in Istanbul Park, Turkey. I enjoyed the great performance of Bottas and he made a great end by having the fastest lap in the last lap also. Verstappen didn't have even a slight chance to get very close to him. I didn't see a gap less than two minutes between them. It was a fully deserved victory. Verstappen and Perez captured the 2nd and 3rd places respectively at the end of the race. And I really liked the Perez - Hamilton rivalry in one of the laps. Perez defended him incredibly good that the spectators there also cheered a lot about it. It was a really unfortunate race for Hamilton after listening to his team and pitting. He insisted on staying on the track till the end and it turned out that he was right. Maybe he could have finished on the podium. The driver of the day was Sainz and he had a great race. Leclerc also finished at the 4th place and got a satisfying result. If he didn't struggle with his newest tyres, he might not have been overtaken by Perez and he might have been on the podium.

Why didn’t I just bet the obvious and kept it simple instead of making it complicated.  Lol.  Hamilton fastest lap was 2.75, Bottas was prolly 4.50 - 5.50 or something.  Bottas had pole position, has potentially the clean air in front him for most of the race, has the fastest engine and that in itself should be hints that his betting lines are value.  And he’s been pretty consistent this season...

Hamilton much faster than all other drivers

Not too surprised, I think the odds for a win were worth it.  The nature of the circuit doesn't make the rain too much a danger this time perhaps that one really tight hairpin is the most likely problem for control in the rain and Hamilton is 5th right now.   He might even come through despite the penalty depending if he can stay consistent  and shave off the seconds per lap

Hamilton has now lost a few more places, Verstappen got the maximum for him, overall RedBull also made up points in the constructors standings today, so a very strong race from Perez as well. Bottas dominated the race from start to finish and deserved to win, congratulations.
