What do you guys think of Turkish GP’s track?  I’m looking at Russel points finish at 2.75 but I was wondering if the track is more suited for Merc powered cars or not.  What do you guys think?  coinlocket$, you’re the guy who knows a lot more about F1 that the average BCT poster...  What do you think?

A commanding victory for Marc Marquez, I didn't expect that, even though it's his track.

Fabio did the best he could and Bagnaia did damage limitation. The last 3 races will be exciting. With big advantages for Fabio, I don't think Fabio will give up the lead.
That surprised me, I don't expect Marquez on 1st, I guessed him on the podium as a 2nd or 3 but 1st podium is a great achievement, I follow him step to step repaired his performance, he is still fast but still not stable for handling on the bend for several months ago. Now, he was found him. I think Quartararo must be careful, maybe not for this year because hard for Marquez to catching up on the different points from Quartararo.

I'm not surprised at all since Marquez has great record in Grand Prix of America. To be frank I'm a bit disappointed with the race as it was a boring race for me. The gap between riders is just too much, Marquez was untouchable since start. I expected to see a tough race where most riders are overtaking other riders especially for the top places, but in fact there is no "shows" in the race.

Nobody had a chance against Marc in this race, even with the time Fabio pulled away and drove unhindered towards his 2nd place. The most interesting was the fight between 3rd to 6th place, in the rear field it would have been very exciting with many overtaking maneuvers, unfortunately nothing was shown by the international direction.

Just saw scary crash in Moto3:

Luckily, nobody weren't injured seriously and just walked away from accident place. But what a fast reaction from drivers, amazing.

By the way, HAAS confirmed that they will continue with Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher in the next season too. I have no problem with Mazepin's continuing but I would really like to see Mick Schumacher at a better team as soon as possible. He has a great talent and he can show it better at a decent team. Haas are the worst team in the grid now. Schumacher can't do much with this miserable car.
I think that Shumacher haven't proved anything in his debut season. As much as we laugh from Mazepin, Mick results isn't significantly better. It's not that case like we had with Russel when he had impressive results in terrible car. Though, maybe it's not worth to expect something amazing from Mick in his first season, next season should give better view.

Bagnaia took the 3rd pole position in a row, Fabio went all out but more was not possible for Fabio. Tomorrow neither of the two may crash, that could decide the championship early. If Bagnaia wins and Fabio sees that he is on the podium, Fabio won't lose much. It will be an exciting race tomorrow.
Obviously it will be very interesting, but from the WUP results that I saw earlier, it looks like Bagnaia is having a little trouble and his teammates also crash, and from some of the riders who gave feedback about the Austin circuit asphalt, on average they said bad things about the bumpy asphalt on the road. Austin which is still not repaired, so this will be a complaint for all current riders.

The bad tarmac has been criticised by some riders, especially Aleix Espargaro, who even said he wouldn't ride here again next year without new road surcace. It will probably be the same as in Brno, there will only be a next race if there is a new road surface next year.

Marc Marquez will be very strong on this American track and I think he will be a strong contender for first place.
while Fabio he will keep his position to secure points in the standings and will avoid dangerous fierce battles and also will not take excessive risks. and Bagnaia will certainly be very ambitious to become champions three times in a row. This week's race will be very interesting in my opinion.

I don't think Marc will be able to compete at a full race distance on the bumpy road surface due to his injury.

I am not sure if both those teams have enough money to make a big difference, but in a league where HAAS races, I do not doubt that any team could race as well. Honestly as long as you have "some" money to start, because starting up is the hardest part, then you could simply get famous names and sponsorships and you may end up hiring a guy like Mazepin, even if not exactly him but anyone like him, which would pay you to be on your team.

This is why I believe anyone with like 50 to 100 million dollars to start could start and just be horrible. As long as you have a team then you can keep being a horrible team and that would be enough for most F1 teams. Look at Williams, look at Alfa romeo, they are all horrible. All in all I would say Audi could be harder one since they do road cars, but Porsche always did fast cars so maybe that could translate well, who knows.

These teams are rumored to sign a long term deal (10years if I can remember correctly) and to have a bigger salary cap till they reach the development of the other cars.

Keep in mind we are talking about a new revolution from 2026 so they will start behind but not so far behind. Audi and Porche already race in high-end motorsport.

Looking at the starting grid for today's race, it will be a great race as we may see top 4 riders (Bagnaia, Fabio, Marquez, Miller) to do their best till finish. Bagnaia may look for his 3rd win in a row and Fabio will not let it easily because Fabio will not be willing to see Bagnaia getting close in the standing. Marquez and Miller might be the riders that make Fabio lose some points today.
Even though it is difficult for a racer, it is important for Fabio to continuously collect points, like Mir did last year. Continuity is usually the key to winning the world championship.
For today's race, if Bagnaia doesn't crash I think he can win the 3rd race in a row, Fabio will try to get on the podium without too much risk, Marc will try to break and crash and hope he doesn't wipe out anyone else or get hurt.
I just confusing about MotoGP today, is Twin Ring Motegi on the japan circuit got canceled?, because when I searching on google search, there was a Japan circuit on schedule today and tomorrow's race on the Circuit of the Americas, texas.
I look also at Nakagami in the top pole position, maybe he has a chance to get a podium, but there is very difficult to beat on top 3, Bagnaia, Quartararo, and Marquez. so far Nakagami's best position is 4th on the Spain circuit, he will make the great race either today.

I'm rooting for Bagnaia in this race. He has been very good lately and should be able to bag his 3rd straight win in this race. I see Fabio as the second but he might give a good fight to Bagnaia. Marquez and Miller also look very fit, maybe the latter 3 will fight for the 2nd position from what I'm expecting. Hoping for a good match and unless something bad happens, or Bagnaia makes some horrible mistake, he should be winning this.

The Japanese Grand Prix was cancelled, as the Formula 1. I already noted and criticised this a few pages ago, it's about money and MotoGP, Formula 1 is not as important as the Olympic Games. In the official MotoGP calendar, Japan is also no longer present because of Corona, Texas fortunately goes a better way than many others and allows a race with spectators.
