it seems that there are conspiratorial versions that all these pre-season problems are just throwing dust in the eyes of competitors Wink
I'm not convinced by the rumours. I can see why this might be a possibility... but surely Mercedes would actually want to test the car during that limited 3 day window? I can't believe they deliberately created fake problems which caused them to miss large parts of testing.

All the same, it is not worth making any far-reaching conclusions from the tests, and a more or less serious picture will be drawn in a few races of the championship.
Yes, definitely. All will become clear soon enough. Not long to wait for the first race now Smiley

All car manufacturers are merging recently. We have Stellantis, for example, which includes all these brands: Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, Ram Trucks and Vauxhall Motors.
And by the way, Stellantis is a shitty name. Italy, in practice, no longer has a purely Italian car manufacturer.

Big fish eat small fish.
France is in the same situation, Renault is in society with Nissan.
Peugeot with Fiat and going on.

This is how it works, when you have a competitor is cheaper to buy him over the competition with him same as Apple, Microsoft, Amazon...

It's difficult to tell just from that short testing window, but Mercedes do seem to have some problems, which could certainly give Verstappen a chance.
From what I've seen though it doesn't seem to be the engine, the issue is about stability at the rear of the car... difficult to tell also, because testing was in Bahrain, how much of this is due to the Mercedes usual weakness in the hotter countries. But as for Honda 21 engine being better than Mercedes 20... I'd imagine the Mercedes 21 engine is likely to also be better than Mercedes 20.
Who knows, though? Just guessing at the moment... but we will get an idea very soon, with the first race of the season. Can't wait Smiley
If Verstappen has any chances, I think it will only be in the first races of the season. Then I think that Mercedes, as always, will solve all their problems and again go into the lead; D Although it seems that there are conspiratorial versions that all these pre-season problems are just throwing dust in the eyes of competitors Wink Although of course I would like to have a healthy competition until the very end of the season. All the same, it is not worth making any far-reaching conclusions from the tests, and a more or less serious picture will be drawn in a few races of the championship.

Yeah, found English article:
https://www.planetf1.com/news/porsche-audi-formula-1-2025/
There also article about it on BBC few weeks ago:

As you all probably know, both, Audi and Porsche belongs to Volkwagen group. So, think we can see only one of these brands in F1. It would just cost too much for Volkwagen to join F1 with both brands and there is no reason to do it.
Any way, new factory team with their own engines joining championship would be very good thing for F1 and would really like to see them.

It depends, for Example Audi could participate with the name Lamborghini with others money since Lamborghini is owned by Audio, who knows.

Big Rumor Boys.

F1 is in contact with Porsche, they maybe coming back in 2025.
According to the following link sadly for you in Italian but can probably find something in English on google too, they have the intention to bring more cars in F1 and besides Porsche, they are interested in Audi too.

With he freezing for the engines and the "salary" cap this is now a real possibility.

"Honda 2021 Engine is more powerful than Merdeces 2020 Engine"

This is what the Honda engineer is saying.

"We have built this engine with the tech for 2022, we anticipated the innovation by 1 year since Honda will leave the F1"

This year can be the Verstappen year especially with the problems that emerged in the Mercedes

now in F1 we also have the Mclearn who is the only one using a special back on the car and they probably have an huge advantage.
Yes, you are right, sometimes rules are created after all. The racing commission has the right to make and cancel everything related to existing or non-existent regulations. All the progress seen by the commission as long as it is beneficial for all and harmless I think it applies to all teams. For F1 I haven't followed suit for a long time, I like to see when Michael Schumacher's at Ferrari wasn't at all. Apparently F1 has almost the same developments regarding aerodynamics with MotoGp.

^  Lol  I don’t think so.  Mercedes is way ahead in R&D of hybrid V6 turbo power units.
And going back to Vettel losing his hair..  maybe he should get some tips from Hamilton in how to get them back.  Cheesy

I'm not so sure. Honda every time they left F1 they won the title, this year can be their year bit a big push from Honda and a "relaxing may be too optimistic" year from Mercedes.

And going back to Vettel losing his hair..  maybe he should get some tips from Hamilton in how to get them back.  Cheesy

He just don't care, it's a cheap operation to do for them, with a 5-10k $ you can have your hair back, well not yours some hairs.

It seems that after the 2019 case regarding ducati's aerodynamics, it is now a solution to increasing motor speed. If I'm not mistaken at that time Suzuki, Honda, Aprilia, and KTM protested for the Ducati Desmosedici P19 swing-arm spoiler. Many have accused Ducati of taking advantage of these regulations. Therefore, for 2020 to date, rules have been made regarding the aerodynamic body spoilers of MotoGP which must be obeyed. So starting from here, I see new aerodynamics in each team, past many people protested, now they are used a lot.

This is the Motorsports.
We always see someone bypassing the regulation with the innovation, this is why we are getting more, faster safer cars/moto.

If they gain is too much the trick will be banned the following year.

For example, now in F1 we also have the Mclearn who is the only one using a special back on the car and they probably have an huge advantage.

Ducati was always very innovative and resourceful when it came to developing new things, see also starting device and the aero wings that could be changed.

Yeah the commentators also explained why Michael had MSC and not SCH, it was because of Ralf ! I didn't know/remember that.

To be honest I'm not convinced, if Mick wants to prove he deserves his seat in F1, he should be his own man. He can't avoid being compared to his father but he could at least get his own 3 letters !

I'm not sure if that's true, Michael Schumacher was in F1 long before Ralf and I don't remember Michael ever having anything other than MSC. Ralf I think had RSC. Mick still had SCH in Formula 2 and I agree that he should remain authentic and not use his father's acronym.

For me it also looked strange to see MSC, especially when there was SCH in F2 under his name. And explanation about Ralf Schumacher doesn't makes sense for me. He retired so long time ago, way before Michael did, so SCH is free to use now. I don't know, maybe they are trying to make nostalgia for F1 and Michael fans with this trick Cheesy.

It was definitely like that Michael always had MSC and Ralf RSC I found a German article about it.

I don't know if you guys noticed it but in the F1 official page I saw MSC standing for Mick Schumacher during testing and it felt great seeing it again after many years. Also Mick too said it was very happy for it because it felt a bond to these letters referring to his father Michael Schumacher.

And it looks that under the bike the air come back over the back swing arm?

Also Yamaha have a new aerodynamic part at the front.
