It was amazing to see that Fernando Alonso got the fastest lap last week, it shows that he is still the best racer right now, but has an unlucky car.

I hope next year he is in a competitive team. It's not a real tournament if you have the best racer in a car that is terribly bad. I want to see Alonso in Mercedes or Ferrari again.

I want to see him in Ferrari once again. I think he has still unfinished business with the Ferrari jersey. I think he has still want it takes to compete at high level, but because he is unlucky with his car, he was unable to do so. I think Ferrari would be a good option as I believed that they can offer him a chance to win again with the latest car that Ferrari has.

Agree with you that Mercedes will have advantage in the next two circuits.

Interestingly enough fastest pit stop - Hungaroring 2017

1. 2.29s - WILLIAMS - Di Resta
2. 2.33s - WILLIAMS - Stroll
3. 2.44s - TORO ROSSO - Kvyat
4. 2.56s - MERCEDES - Hamilton
5. 2.65s - FERRARI - Raikkonen
6. 2.76s - TORO ROSSO - Sainz
7. 2.96s - HAAS - Grosjean
8. 3.01s - FERRARI - Vettel
9. 3.08s - RENAULT - Palmer
10. 3.11s - McLAREN - Alonso

So Williams is the fastest in the pit stop.

Despite Vettel lead, I'm still seeing Hamilton as favorite to win championship. After summer break we will have 2 gp's in fast tracks, which is better for Meecedes. Next good track for Ferrari is Singapore.
Anyway, this season is hardly predictable and it makes more interesting to watch.
P.S It was really nice to see that Hamilton given back third position to Bottas in last GP. I expected that he will find thousands reasons why he should stay in 3rd place.

Important victory for Ferrari. Finally Raikkonen was helpful to his team. Probably the championship will be decided at the last race!

iam not understand why hamilton this season not competitive and not strong

Vettel's victory on Sunday, extends his advantage at the summit of the Formula One driver standings. I think he just put enough breathing room for him and Hamilton.

I would like to see Hamilton win with a big grin at Monza for sure just to make things more interesting this season.  I'm getting kinda bored with F1 lately.  I know the fight for the championship is very close but for some reason I'm not into watching it.  I'm craving for some EPL football!

I'm expecting Hamilton to do something here and he did, but unfortunately it is not enough to upset the Ferrari's. I'm expecting that he will try to take Monza to make the driver championship fight more catching the attention.

Hamilton should focus more at racing not doing other things. But i think his time is coming soon and he will be winning again. It is something like it was last season with Nico by his side. Last four GP he won, but 5 GP before in Belgium, Italy, Singaopre, Malaysia, Japan not.

Life, Love and Laughter...
Next two races in Spa and Monza will be different from the last Hungaroring.  Drivers can reach high speed at various points around the tracks. On the other hand at Hungaroring there is no space for overtaking. So I think Mercedes will have adventure in the next two races. So two doubles for Mercedes in next two races for me.

Few words for last GP.

Thumbs ups: Hamilton to allowing Valtteri Bottas to retake third place and finish on the podium. And of course Alonso for his 6th place with very very bad Mclaren Honda.

On the othe hand thumbs down for Verstappen after ramming into Ricciardo forcing him out of the race.

@CarlesPuyol. After a Ferrari win it is time to start looking at what Mercedes will do in the next race. If the betting is giving Lewis Hamilton +200 odds or more to get 1st in qualifying it might be a good bet. It would be better if his teammate Valterri could get +500 or more because you can bet on him also. Valterri can sometimes be very fast in qualifying.

What did I tell everyone? After the stricter rules on the oil burning issue will get some of Mercedes' advantages away from them. Renault has been complaining about this issue since the beginning of the season.

Amazing time for Ricciardo! He is very close at record of track of Barrichello in 2004 (1’18"436)

Mercedes and Ferrari will be pushing hard on the 2nd and 3rd practice and one of them will break the track record. What kind of tires were they using when Daniel got that time?

Renault's Jolyon Palmer endured a miserable day as he drew a red flag late in the first session after losing his front wing and then crashed hard into the barriers in the afternoon. It was a session full of incident, with Palmer not the only driver to hit the barriers at speed. Just under 40 minutes from the end of the run, Sauber's Pascal Wehrlein found the wall at Turn 11 having failed to recover after losing his rear end.

Guys, this is a old article but I think its worth sharing:

Remembering Lewis Hamilton’s F1 debut, 10 years ago today

A friendly warning before you read this piece: prepare to feel old.

As we begin to get ready for the start of the new Formula 1 season in Australia next Sunday, the preseason favorite is Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton.

With three world titles to his name and more than 50 race wins chalked up, Hamilton is one of F1’s modern-day superstars. As well as showcasing devastating speed on-track, he has developed a burgeoning celebrity reputation off it, gracing red carpets all over the world.

There can be little doubt that Hamilton is one of the most famous and talented drivers in F1’s history, but there was a time when things were very different.

Ten years ago today, a young kid from the rather unremarkable town of Stevenage, England made his grand prix debut in Australia. There were no piercings; no tattoos; no celebrities on his arm. Only his father and mentor, Anthony, was there to cheer him on in the garage. But the on-track display that was delivered made the world stand up and take notice of Lewis Hamilton.

For the full article here's the link: http://motorsports.nbcsports.com/2017/03/18/remembering-lewis-hamiltons-f1-debut-10-years-ago-today/

I'm not a fan of Lewis Hamilton in the beginning. But seeing how to grown in the sports he love, has somewhat change my perspective about him.
