same story again, max dominating.

This week there is no race for MotoGP, but until now there are still many rumors about some riders who are eyeing a vacant seat in two of Ducati's satellite teams after the announcement of Johan Zarco's move to the LCR Honda team for next season and also Marco Bezz's rejection to Pramac Racing Ducati. From some of the rumors I've read, some say that Joan Mir himself is eyeing one of the seats at Gresini Racing Ducati even though his contract with Honda has not yet been completed.

Likewise with Marquez, who from several rumors has been linked to a seat at Pramac Racing, even though his contract with Honda has not yet been completed, but in some local news I read that Morbidelli also has the opportunity to get a seat at Pramac Racing because Yamaha has no longer contracted him for next season and prefer Alex Rins to fill Morbidelli's vacant seat. Apart from that, Valentino Rossi himself is also very supportive if Morbidelli goes to Pramac Racing for next season.

It looks like Max will be able to break the record given the performance he put in, and I'm pretty sure he'll be able to get a P1 even if the weather turns rainy. Moreover, Vettel does not feel that Max is a threat to his record and instead he really respects Max because what he did to reach his current position was not easy and really deserves appreciation.
And not only that record, Red Bull will also break the record in "biggest points lead ever in the world championship" if Mercedes has a poor performance in this race.

You may be right, according to google and quick math, we will have around 30% AVG of the possibility of having rain during the race/qualy.

I dont think we are gonna see rain in the track, or even in the race weekend, the percetage of possibilities its low.

I think Sebastian Vettel its gonna see the race for sure, his record its in danger, but knowing him i know he its gonna be happy to see someone broken it. What do you think?

Of course it is the skill compared to Perez but Perez was always a mediocre driver,he even drove for McLaren when they were relatively well meaning that they won a race with Heikki Kovalainen and Perez could not deliver that much even there,that for me was enough to judge this driver as not some of the very skillful ones,just an average or maybe just a bit over the average driver but nothing special about him.

Max is in a complete different league,the crashes that he made showed his burning desire to win races even when he was young and inexperienced.So the car is a big factor but only when you have it run by a very skillful driver.

I think that the factor that made Verstappen where he is today was not just the car, even if that was one of the important factors, but the confidence he has and the skills he has. Perez got the same car as Verstappen but why can't he match Verstappen? even the difference in their points was almost 1 times. So there are many skilled drivers in F1 but Verstappen is still above them.

Wups...  At least it's gonna make it a bit more exciting and kinda unpredictable.  :/  You never know, Verstappen might make a tiny mistake, slip a bit on the track and hit the barriers.    It's not that I'm hoping for it to happen, I just want to see some excitement back.  It's been a couple of years since 2021.  And it's really been nothing but a borefest.

I could already see it...  VER, NOR because PER will suck again, then prolly HAM or LEC fighting for the third spot on the podium.  So yeah, if Norris finishes anywhere decent at quali and if his line still is 2.25 to finish top 3, I'd prolly take that line.

We are talking about Max here, that dude will probably win everything unless you crash into his car. That is literally the only possibility of him losing any race ever again this season, either someone crashing into his car, or maybe his car breaks down on the track, there is no other way that he would ever lose any other race.

This is why it's easy to bet on him, the return may not be that great but unless he loses a single race, then it's free money all day long and so far it has been true. ı have made some great returns on betting on Max, yes it wasn't big returns but at the very least it was some return and I am guessing that it's going to be fine as well, the return will be much better than what people expect it to be.

There are very skilled drivers such as Hamilton, Norris, Leclerc and so on. But they don't have a similar car to Verstappen's unfortunately. This wouldn't change for a couple of more years at least as well. Therefore it is really hard to see Verstappen's dominance ending soon. Maybe in 2026 something might change in balances but it is hard to tell what would happen from now.

Verstappen said that he wouldn't like to compete in middle positions as of 2026. He hopes to see Red Bull continuing their dominance here.

But I hope the opposite of what Verstappen wants of course.    Some more competition would make F1 more exciting.

Finally we come back to the F1 races, after this long summer break, the sad part of all of this its.... yes we already know who its gonna be on pole, and win the race with a 95% of accuracy.

WE only can wait to have a good fight between drivers in 2º until 10º position.

I can already see Max winning everything on Zandvoort. From practices to qualifiers and race , there is absolutely no one who could stop him on this track. Sure , we might see McLaren doing great again , we might see Ferrari bringing a bit more balance into that car even if they don't need to improve it anymore because there is no point to do that and we might see Aston Martin having a good race again after an absence of 4 race where they barely got a P5.

He prolly saw a technical loop hole they could exploit next year and on 2025.    Kidding...  Yeah most of these guys like to promote and market their teams to keep people interested.  And it's also good for team morale to stay positive.  But who knows, they might know something that we don't.  They have been looking good as of late.

@emrecemsan Ferrari lost their competitive edge long time ago and year after year they kept misleading their fan’s that they have improved but honestly @FanEagle is right that Ferrari will continue to make mistakes. Lastly this is Verstappen era and currently I don’t see any other driver that can dethrone him unless his performances suddenly drop which I really doubt can ever happen.

According to the source below Zak Brown says that McLaren has no big gaps to fill from now on. He thinks that they can go for titles with big infrastructure upgrades.

However I don't know about this. Because Red Bull are just insanely ahead of all the remaining teams. No matter how big upgrade a rival team brings Red Bull still manage to answer them strongly. It is about having a big budget in hand at the same time of course. But as far as I know McLaren is one of the rich teams now. They should use this money as effective as possible to get closer to Red Bull's level.

But I don't know if they can do this until the 2026 season where things will change a lot in the sport.

Whenever Ducati makes a change, it is always tested and tested by their test riders on a predetermined schedule. Including Ducati also conducts closed tests when it wants to implement new changes for the following year, and now or for this season I see that Ducati has become more perfect so that other manufacturers still find it difficult to deal with it in almost all circuits. Although occasionally Aprilia can also take the opportunity to win races unexpectedly.

He has definitely matured during this season, the slips were definitely good for us, otherwise the season would have been as good as over. But I also read once that one or two crashes, Bagnaia and Ducati didn't know why. The Ducati factory team makes some changes every year, so it can happen that they don't quite understand one or the other yet.

I hope that we can see some top teams other than Red Bull bringing some solid upgrades to the Dutch GP. Because I have really missed a high level rivalry for winning races. Verstappen's domination makes things really boring in the championship. It is no different than Hamilton's dominant times with Mercedes. We don't see any team getting near Red Bull now either like Red Bull did it in the 2021 season and we watched an awesome competition until the end of the season.

I expect more from Ferrari especially. Bringing upgrades can make up for their mistakes with strategies more at least.

The race in Austria last weekend was a race that really made Valentino Rossi happy because he immediately watched the race on the circuit with his own team who also got third place on the podium and Luca Marini also managed to finish the race in the top four. Apart from that, he is also happy because Bagnaia was able to win again there, so that the gap in points has increased in the temporary standings for now.

The next race will probably be even more fierce than the one in Austria because the Catalunya circuit also has very good character so that almost all riders will look more competitive when racing there. And I think that Ducati will also put up a stronger fight in Catalonia because Aprilia and KTM can make unexpected surprises there.
