Great news that Marc will be in a Ducati team and I think he will not need much time to get to grasp immediately the inner difference of the bike compared to Honda. It was a shame for Honda to not provide him a winning bike from some years now as sure he has won titles but for me he is the best rider on the grid and these new riders who have won last seasons from Ducati they are good riders while for me Marquez is a better one.I am pretty confident that no matter he is in a satellite team his riding skills can truly make a difference in making him winning a title with Ducati.

well, this might be the best decision taken by marc considering that currently honda's performance cannot be relied on and it is time for marc to get a new ride for his seventh world title. but from what i heard he only got a gp23, not a new bike, so maybe it will be quite a challenge for him.

and for honda, i feel quite sorry for this team because after the departure of marc, who was their best racer, maybe it will be a difficult time for them to get the best place in motogp.

Now Marc has to get to grips with the Ducati (think back to Lorenzo), but I don't think he can repeat his earlier successes, and there are no more excuses about the bike, now you can't blame the manufacturer for an unsatisfactory result, and Ducati won't develop parts for Marc rather than customising them for him, the factory team has priority and the two factory riders....
Marc Marquez will only enjoy older parts in the Gresini Racing team next season along with his own younger brother who is his team mate. Meanwhile, Jorge Lorenzo immediately enjoyed new spare parts from the manufacturer so this will be very different to compare because Marquez will be in a satellite team with an older motorbike composition.

Thank you I haven't had time to look at the current training session, I hope you can both ride and there is no accident that could make the injury worse.
This practice session was controlled by the Aprilia factory duo, followed by Bezzecchi and Brad Binder and Jorge Martin, meaning that Bezzecchi also had very good speed on the Mandalika circuit. Hopefully tomorrow he can set a better time and get a really good starting position because I saw the factory Aprilia was really very smooth today.

Marquez officially joins the Ducati team Gresini for the next years.

As seen this morning in FP1 where Bezzecchi and Marini both took part in the session and now Practice is taking place which Bezzecchi and Marini are also taking part in. It seems that these two riders don't have too much difficulty in Mandalika so the possibility of taking part in the Sprint and Main Race on Sunday is much greater, because now they are both also struggling to get the best time in very sunny weather conditions.

It has already been discussed and written about here, but I don't want to quote them all now, then it would get confusing. It is already confirmed that Bezzecchi and Marini will come to the Grand Prix.

However, according to this article it is not yet certain whether they will be able to ride, and it is uncertain who will be able to ride, as Ducati test rider Pirro is also injured.

Pirelli renewed once again his contract with F1.

We got some rumors about Bridgestone in the past months but not it is official, Pirelli will stay at least until 2027.

By the way I was really worried about the drivers in Qatar Grand Prix. The reason why was the temperature of course. The weather is just extremely hot in Qatar that the race turns into a nightmare for the drivers. Russell stated that he was nearly going to faint after driving for 20 laps.  Sad

They didn't let the drivers use the same tyres more than 18 laps as well for safety. But the most important and worrying thing about this race was the condition of the drivers during and after the race. We must have all seen how tired and sweaty the drivers were after the race. I don't know maybe FIA can think of removing this Grand Prix in Qatar seriously.

I just heard that this week the GP will take place in Indonesia. It seems that this event is the 2nd in Indonesia. Besides Bezzecchi other names like Luca Marini, Alex rins, Bastianini. But it seems that this will not reduce the excitement of the Mandalika GP moto. Of the three names, it seems that only Bastianini is unharmed. But reportedly Alex rins, Bastianini will still come to Mandalika even though he did not participate in the race.
This time it looks like it will be more lively than last year if the racing conditions are dry and from the faces of the riders who are already in Mandalika. It seems that they are always very happy when they are in Mandalika because they can immediately enjoy the natural tourist attractions and enjoy the parade around the city and I also can't wait to see the riders in action on the Mandalika circuit this season.

Everyone is wishing him to participate in this race. But I really hope that he does not participate having an injury. If he is fit, he can definitely participate. I don't have any issues with that. But if he is not fit enough to participate, probably it is a good idea for him to not get his body through another race. we all have seen the videos of racers trying to train their reflexes and trying to stay in the best shape possible. Only after a few days after getting a surgery I don't think he's going to be in the best physical condition.
We will see how his condition is when he undergoes Practice1 tomorrow or to be precise on Friday, because if he is not fit enough to race, there is no need to force himself to continue racing. Moreover, this is about his health condition after the operation, but because he is already in Mandalika, there is no harm in him trying it because on the one hand he is also hunting for more points to gain points for Bagnaia and Martin.

I also hope that the rain does not cause any problem. Because we know that when it rains, it is generally difficult for any driver to actually control his vehicle/vessel, whatever you want to call it, properly. And in general, the speed also reduces when it rains. With less drag and more time to take the turns, it is understandable why the speed decreases. Anyway, Indonesia is definitely going to be more interesting compared to India.
I just hope that the race will be in dry conditions in Mandalika Indonesia this time and it will also be more exciting than the races that have taken place in India this season. Because apart from the facts you say, in rainy conditions it is very difficult for riders to overtake their opponents even though they are very close and this can allow more riders to fall because they are unable to survive until the end of the race.

It was a really disappointing race for Ferrari at the same time. Sainz couldn't even start the race and I was really shocked to see that. Because there wasn't any problem with engine until the race. Leclerc also couldn't create a big competition for podium either. But Ferrari were at least lucky about Mercedes' having a bad day at the same time.

Because currently these two teams are fighting each other hard for 2nd place. There is a gap like 28 points right now. There are still 5 more races so everything can change in this competition. I believe Ferrari have a potential to capture this position but let's see.

@Spack17 nothing about Ferrari surprises me anymore because even after the promised upgrades they have continued to disappoint only and I can only hope that next season they step up and perform better. Lastly I’m not sure if Ferrari can clinch that second spot because they’re not reliable at all but Mercedes also ain’t having any better luck but I’ll back Mercedes because of Hamilton’s past achievements.

Yeah we have really got used to seeing Ferrari disappointing their fans this season. It wasn't much different last season either. Technically they were even better last season. Because Ferrari were doing really good especially at the beginning of the season. You know how strong they were back then and Leclerc was able to fight with Verstappen at the same level.

They are just going backwards rather than improving. I really don't understand that. Leclerc is still making weird statements surprisingly. He still looks excited about Ferrari's future but I don't know. They need to make some important changes to put an end to these problems.

Hamilton is too kind.

If he only fought in trial against RBR he was probably winning 1 more title 3 years ago

I have heard that he is actually going to the race. He is going to Mandalika even though I believe he is not 100% fit after his surgery. I am still not sure though if he is going to be fully recovered or not before the race. I hope he will be. But I was actually surprised to see him going. As far as I know, it has only been three days after his surgery. This is definitely a risk in my opinion. I think if he is not fit, he definitely should not participate in the race.
I have also seen him arrive in Mandalika today via local media and it looks like he will still be declared fit to race this week even though it hasn't been too long since the operation he underwent. I also hope that Bezzecchi can get a podium at Mandalika later so that he remains in contention for the world title this season even though the fierce battle will probably continue between Martin and Bagnaia until the end of this season.

It's been a long time since I followed MotoGP news. So I was a bit surprised that this weekend it arrived in Indonesia, my country. I find it uninteresting because the points calculation is no longer based on the main race. Apart from that, since Rossi retired, there hasn't been another racer that I idolize. I'm proud and I hope the event in Indonesia is better than MotoGP in India. Because I saw a lot of problems, such as snakes, spectators who could freely enter the team area. I hope Indonesia is able to provide the best service. For the race, I can't guess much, but maybe Ducati will dominate a lot.
The story for MotoGP India has finished well even though there were several problems that had to be addressed by the circuit and Dorna at that time. This week MotoGP will return to Indonesia with extraordinary enthusiastic spectators and natural views that are no less interesting than other countries. Last season there weren't many problems that arose in Mandalika except for the heavy rain that hit the circuit and it is hoped that this week there will be no heavy rain in Mandalika so that this season's racing spectacle in Indonesia can be more interesting than last season.

This week the Mandalika Indonesia MotoGP will return and what is very unfortunate is that a rider named Marco Bezzecchi suffered an injury to his collarbone while training at the Motor Ranch in Tavullia. Hopefully he can go to Mandalika this week to race. Because when he had the accident he was immediately operated on by a team of doctors from the Orthopedic and Traumatology Unit of the University of Modena and Reggio Calabria in order to make an early confirmation whether or not to race in the remaining series this season.

This is not the first time for Indonesia to be hosts for International race, last season Indonesia already hosted MotoGP, few months ago Indonesia also selected to become WSBK race. so far is nothing any problems founds. so you don't need to worry about the MotoGP event in Indonesia, with several races already being held in Indonesia and there not being excessive negative comments like in India, this race will definitely go well. One thing that used to be a concern was drainage which still did not meet standards. Luckily Indonesia is currently in the dry season, I think if it doesn't rain everything will be fine.
