Twenty five reboots. Ugh
On my end. The hurricane made a small leak in the solar array.
Water got into the atx running the four card z170 mobo causing a short in the mobo near the 8 pin CPU cable jack.
So,far all four gpus seem okay.
The higher end m2 ssd survived
The 8 gb ram stick is good.
The CPU cooler is good.
The CPU is yet to be tested.
The psu is toast.
The mobo is toast.
So I spent today redesigning the setup with a proper rain shield for both the s9s and the Ethcoin pc's
As of now I am running 3 s9s and 1 s7. I have the part for btc mining done.
Tomorrow or thurs I will bring another mobo over with four gpus and try again.
The new rain leak protected setup should allow for five s9s one s7 and two four card eth rigs.
About 9600 watts

took me about 25 reboot to have all 6 cards running again. I'm using a double DPS-2000 PSU running at 12.16v. Might be the voltage on the card. A bit high for their clocking. I might have 2 or 3 cards sensible to that.
I will use 2 RM 1000 tonight to play with that.

Alright, I got 6 full cards hashing at stock at the moment. (not for a long time, last time it took 10 mins to crash)
After uninstalling and reinstall amd driver a lots, I downloaded their cleanup utility. I manually removed all rx470 from the device manager with driver's delete option. Launched the cleanup and rebooted, launched the clean again and rebooted. Downloaded the latest driver, I always used 16.9.2, installed the 16.10.1 drivers. Rebooted.
I'm going to bed, but it looks good !

Start WattTool - Set Voltage offset to "-15" and click set for each card. This will decrease your overall watts TREMENDOUSLY; therefore, reduce cost! This will make you smile.

Can't beat it - since the CPU/MB/SSD never draws more than probably 80w, it's a great solution and gets everything powered off of one 12v supply (from the DPS). I suspect most of the negative reviews are just people who have no clue - I've ordered probably 50 of them so far, and never had one be defective - but I could just be lucky.
What do you use for the 8 CPU connector (I think it cannot be replace only by the molex connector ?)

The RM1000's are quality boards... What you might consider is removing a couple cards and running just off the one RM1000 first, verify it's working, then swap PSU's and verify again - this way you can tell if one of them is having issues, or if the issue is something related to running them together.
Personally I run all mine off of single server PSU's (the DPS-2000BB), much cheaper AND higher quality, pretty hard to beat.
Oh, and if you're using risers, you don't need to worry about that molex warning, it's just seeing that cards are connected and not that they're actually being powered by the risers.

Now GPU hang and Win 10 just freaking crash. (something it's one card, 2 or 3 ...)
I mined all night with 5 cards on win 7. It's not a freaking hardware issue, i'm pretty sure.

Now GPU hang and Win 10 just freaking crash. (something it's one card, 2 or 3 ...)

Are these cards stock or overclocked?
Also is the card hanging up the primary display?
I use the On Board HDMI for windows.
Everything is stock. Today was suppose to be the day for overclocking
EDIT: I managed to got them all mining one time otherwise it looks like to be random with 0 MH on 2-3 cards each time I start the process.
EDIT: someone time Win 10 crash with the Video TDR fault .. blue screen of death. Now the mining process just crash. It's a fucking nightmare
EDIT: I'm gonna try to use a card instead of the onboard but i'm sure it's not the issue. The very strange behavior is when it crashes, my main Monitor just start flaking (like a Resolution test) like the OS is re-install the driver over and over
EDIT: And Windows is telling me that an application has been block from using the graphics hardware
I've had systems with all sorts of faults as well. Drove me nuts and in the end I swapped out the power supply and it's been stable ever since. *knocks on wood*

I run the latest on them all - v2.30.
Updated the bios, Had to plud the HMDI into one of the card, the onboard setting has been reset i guess but PC doesn't boot anyone.
I had a warning to plug a molex for the EFI (something like that) I did plug both molex jsut to be sure.
I think i'm going for at least 2 beer when this is going to work
So, after the bios update i managed to get on track... started Claymore Boom all 6 cards was hashing but now the process crash, unable to write to the buffer of GPU 1 and 0 ...
Opened my beer a bit too quickly !
EDIT: Also Watchdog error ... restarting the mining process. Ho well ...
