Whats the issue with Local Trader? Hasn't been working for some days. Other Mycelium functions work.

I never thought of this, a very valid point, makes me look at BCH in a very different light and if it is even worth the risk trying to collect pennies.

it only takes one tiny slip up to forever link all your existing address. it's safe to say almost everyone has already done this somewhere along the line.

Can someone post a simple method on how to make this BCC claim?

Thanks

I'm going to guess that Mycelium is using BIP39? Send your bitcoins to another wallet just to make sure they are safe and then use the seed from Mycelium inside ElectrumCash (or any other BCH wallet that allow that) and you should be good to go.

It would be really cool if Mycelium would do something similar to what Breadwallet is doing https://breadwallet.com/blog/breadwallet-plan-bitcoin-cash-bch/ what do you think?

The spy organizations would have a field day if every bitcoin user combined all their holdings into one address. That is exactly what the invention of the HD wallet aimed at preventing.

The result is that all addresses of every involved HD wallet would be associated, for everybody to see in the BCH blockchain. Since these are the same addresses and the same amounts as in the bitcoin blockchain, this residual bit of privacy would be gone.

i'm getting a weird bug with this. my last two txs into the wallet are now showing up as unconfirmed in mycelium when they arrived fine yesterday and have tens of confirmations. i don't know if they're now spendable or not. anyone else getting this?

Yes, I'm getting this for a few days now. Incoming transaction from 31st that was already confirmed is showing like incoming two or three times in a day, every day since then. But I have this balance in the wallet, everything is ok, but this "incoming" transaction keeps arriving all the time. This is very weird to me, don't know what is this happening and if that could influence negative on my balance.

Is this wallet actually trustworthy? I have been doing some research, and I found that earlier this year a member of the team used some ICO funds for vacations. And there is this project, Mass Network. I followed it for sometime but lost interest. However I remembered it today and took a look at the bitcointalk thread and looks like it was a scam. And they have Alexander Kuzmin as CEO, Maria Brown, Jerome Rousselot and Sergey Dolgopolov as the team members. Maybe they were lies from Mass Network project, but I don't know, looks like they were indeed involved. What do you guys think? Here is the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1598276.1200 and web page https://mass.network/team.html
I've been using it for a couple of years now,  and it's just fine IMO.  Don't think whatever the CEO did with his vacation is going to change that.

Thanks for the answer. This wallet looks dope, butI will be cautious anyways.

Why has Mycelium Marketplace said No Server Connection, spinning the Searching indicator for days, through restart after restart?

Meh... if BCH becomes anything, plenty of wallets will support it.

I know JAXX is working on an update now. They supported ETC and ETH pretty much from the split.

I had a similar bug earlier when sending, they were all confirmed but then showed up as not confirmed but in reality they were confirmed.  It sorted itself out after 30 mins or so.

Is it possible to use mycelium seed in electrum wallet to get BCC?
Only if you use the "Electron cash" wallet... as Electrum DOES NOT support BCC and Electrum dev does not support nor endorse ElectronCash wallet

When you create the wallet in "Electron", you will need to click the "Options" button when you enter your seed and specify that it is a BIP39 seed.

Thank you for that. Got confused with something but all clear now. Need to find a different device for electron cash, I hope it is trustworthy.

Using mycelium from quite some time now and I feel it is secured compared to other Android wallets. But what about Bitcoin Cash after segwit. Do you have any plan on supporting it or nothing.?

does it matter? send your bitcoins to a new account and then use the mycelium seed somewhere else to claim the bcash.
