The whole article questions Maza's validity and suggests that the Fed will crack down on any crypto that gains traction.

Probably not the kind of exposure you want?

Hey guys, sussex is back with more good news.

Look, there is not going to be good news over this, so far I've been pretty much spot-on.

It's not because of any great talent I have, it's because everything you need to know to make a decision is right there in front of you.

Reading these forums it's obvious that most haven't even checked out the Wikipedia article about the Lakota Nation - people have made investments based solely on coinmarketcap and now it's going to cost them.

Come on Sussex.....lets get it all out in one go...

Remember the Tulips
It will all end in tears
This is a false dawn
Hype, hype and more hype lead to disasters
When you lose your shirt, remember I told you so

yeah, yeah, yeah. Lets all get a job in McDonalds and play it safe.

Is this different than Bitcoin's media portrayal? Especially over the last 2 weeks, if anything it's an improvement. So yea, we want this.

$220 million a year already travels through the reservation each year. Imagine much of that being done in MZC...it could make speculating in this currency a real treat  Grin

I just want to say for all those who keep saying the Lakota people are too poor to be using MZA, just remember ALOT of Americans are poor and live in ghettos or trailer parks or rural areas and are still on AOL dial up with 1999 computers. Are these people any more ready for Bitcoin than the Lakotas? Be honest. Hell 1 in 10 Americans think HTML is an STD, most people aren't as tech literate as you think they are. At the end of the day Bitcoin is just as much more a speculation commodity than an actual currency, I predict it will be more akin to stocks in that people will entrust a middle man to buy and hold it for them because instead of keeping it in their own wallet.

They should have a plan in place in case the coin is a great success to make the currency more usable for all of its members. There's no question that it's possible even for the poor, and if the tribe sees a great influx of cash they should have no problem implementing something that works. I'd like to see more about how they plan to do this publicly, but maybe that will come with more media coverage and stories.

Check this out: http://indiancountrytodaymedianetwork.com/2014/03/03/9-questions-surrounding-mazacoin-lakota-cryptocurrency-answered-153750

They have plans for sure. Harris expects 50% of the vendors to accept MZC within one year.

*sigh*

Chill your tits men(and women).

I wasn't saying that NOBODY has access to the internet.. I'm fully aware they have a website and all that. I'm talking about the ones who are in a really bad position over there, just like in many other countries.

I'm just asking if there has been any talk about this. I guess paper wallets could work, but I haven't looked much into how they function.

Your question was valid. People in this county earn less than $8,000/year. Not all will have internet access. However, overall the tribe shouldn't have any problem using Mazacoin.

Earnings per year is irrelevant when not factoring in cost of living.

Hedging out of Bitcoin and Aurora as the price drops into MazaCoin as the price rises. That would be a good move  Grin

Im waiting good price for selling my 3.7AUR and invest in maza, Its seems more stable and  less dangerous  Grin
You probably should have sold yesterday or the day before, AUR is only going to be going down now, it's going to plummet even more when they do the supposed "air drop". There's only ~100k coins in circulation, there are 10.5mil coins premined, the skyrocketing price was merely a pump and dump, and too many people have been suckered into buying at such a high price.

We've seen a -4.91 % drop in Bitcoin price and a -14% drop in Litecoin price. So the big boys retracing a bit. It's natural smaller coins suffer even bigger corrections. We should see more craziness once bitcoins jumps above $700.
