Pretty sobering stuff when compared to a bunch of privileged whining crypto day-traders on the internet all declaring that this currency is either a scam or it will make them a gazillionaire.
When I got into crypto, I went in with only one goal in mind, just to make enough money to buy a house. If I got rich doing it, that would be great, but a lot of people in the Bitcoin game are truly delusional and all think it is a guaranteed path to obscene riches. There is no guarantee even Bitcoin will be successful. All those people who bought Bitcoin for pennies on the cheap, i'm saying it now, you are LUCKY, it wasn't a game of skill and you really didn't take a huge risk considering how cheap it was at one point, you got lucky because nothing is guaranteed in life. If you are wealthy you should be blessed with what you have, but I see so many guys like the mods and famed trollboxers at BTC-E for example bragging about what lambo or Benz they will be buying next year and acting like they are kings of finance while talking sh-t about new coins, I guarantee you they were all geeks 4 years ago sitting in their parents basement playing Warcraft.
This is why I support Mazacoin, Harris is not going out there claiming he will make his tribe stinking rich but to help pull them out of poverty, a very noble cause in my book.
I like your point of view. I'm sure that 90% or so of people who became rich with help of cryptocurrencies did it only because of their luck. Most of them (including me) are not economists and\or marketing specialists - and 90% of them cannot make exact predictions.
I want to add some of my thoughts. I like coins like XPM, RIE, I'm still working with Datacoin. I like them because of technical value inside - it's really interesting for me as an IT specialist. And MZC is the first coin with such real purpose - real currency for group of people. It is not such interesting in technical sense, but it sets a precedent. And it is awesome.
