Lol and why do you think it can't?The whole idea is great and it's unique. Some huge things could happen. It has a chance to grow really big and I will be there when it comes.

cause the tribe is located in the US?Huh?? they will never accept this as a currency... legalwise it cant happen  Cheesy or you think obama would make an exception just for this little tribe?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

lel,you know its already legalized and acepted?

dream on on brother... you got any proof of an indian saying he will use this? or any official papers stating this will be accepted?

http://rt.com/usa/native-american-nation-bitcoin-632/

in the op...

LOL that article... so thats your proof!?!?

HAHAHAHHAHA

"A handful have already agreed to start using the coin."

"The FBI has already allegedly contacted Harris to discuss the proposals to immerse themselves in the crypto-currency, apparently having reminded him that cryto-currencies are not considered legal tender in the US, currently. Harris has dismissed the warnings."

LOL LOL

dream on brothers

here is the official Lakota government website.  there is no mention at all of a "Maza coin".  making your own currency is a HUGE deal, kind of worthy of a mention. watch the video and honestly say you can imagine the people on the webpage using smart phones to buy coffee at coffee shops anytime soon with maza coin.  http://www.oglalalakotanation.org/oln/Home.html  there is no official announcement that this is a real coin of the Lakato, just a lot of people talking

Why it is going so much down the last couple of hours?

No clue. But if i see how much BTC is involved at the moment. I think some people who want in for a low price.

This, and....there is so much negativity coming in from other coin holders that have lost money following the wrong coin.

MazaCoin is drawing away their followers and they are seeing their coins drop in value.

Unfortunately, I know this from reading some of the comments here and then following the posters back to where they spend their time (what a waste of my time that was, but it proves I was right); and also I like DarkCoin - untraceable blockchain transactions if you choose which means you can be anonymous, its still in Beta 2 - which has been static in terms of price movement, with a few people saying they are buying MazaCoins instead.

Yeh i was too late also. But i dont blame the coin :-) I think it will rise later on. If it has real usage in a community it will be the first. Shops over internet could also accept maza coins. To sell tipis like some people think or other stuff ;-)

I am into anoncoin when it comes to anonymous. They are close to implementing zerocoin protocol. I wait for that Cheesy

Is  Traditional Lakota Nation a real country?

No but Indian tribes in the US have autonomy so they can make their own rules. Some became rich by setting up casino's in their reservations even when it was against the law in their state the authorities couldn't do anything about it.

The Seminole tribe in Florida is very rich they even own the Hard Rock cafe chain as well as some hotels and casino's.

The price drop is normal. It follows the Bitcoin price. Aurora also dropped big so expect price to pick up once we see reversals. http://coinmarketcap.com/ all cryptos down now.

Everyone chill. Take a walk and get some sun. This is holding steady at 9-11 for now. It will rise again with more exposure and interest.

Thread-puller extraordinaire
Check another very promising ,,national" currency eKrona . . . This will be like aurora.

Now now, I think you might be making a hell of a leap there. The reason why Aurora and Mazacoin *might* do really well is that they are addressing a particular need of their communities. Simply labelling a coin 'e-[fiat currency name]' does not a community currency make.

Check another very promising ,,national" currency eKrona (scandinavia): https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-krn-ekrona-not-only-for-vikings-scrypt-kgw-no-premine-33-mblocks-421376 This will be like aurora.

I think this is a little different. Would be the same if i create a coin and call it Egulden. No premine...why would the coin be in hands of the Dutch?

So in this case. They should have distributed them to the scandinavians. And from what i read they did not do that. So its different then auora and maza.
