With 4G here, I can see 8 to 13 mb/s and 6 to 8 mb/s of download on router and mobile device respectively at night, while the network in the day are not bad either, slower though but not bad at all. I have used all networks before, but I later have no option than to stay with MTN. (I am not marketing MTN but the best that I have used)

5G is not like 4G as it is very expensive to setup, you should have known as it is not yet in Africa. It is costly to setup and can only be in main towns, unlike 4G which even not well developed towns and some villages can access.

Your problem is not upgrading to 5G, it is either the areas you are living, or get a better service provider's sim card. Even 3G can provide you the internet connection needed to access exchanges.
