and if you disappear?
We know you just as much as you know us. Trust works both ways
laSeek asked a very important question here. It is important that you can be safe in case nastyfans disappears. For this I decide to implement the suggestion from ErebusBat.
Also a rather lower tech idea would be to have a daily updated PGP signed/hmac'd list of share distribution.
This would allow anyone to download it, but only certain trusted people would have the hmac key, allowing to determine who the shares actually belong to.
With each distribution a signed list of nastyfans account information will be posted. I submitted my key to pool.sks-keyservers.net servers.
Each member decides what information from the account will be posted. This is a new setting for your account. By default nothing is published about your account. If you choose to publish a identity field and the number of seats you own then you will be able to prove seat ownership if nastyfans disappears because the critical information is publicly available. I also add options for publishing username and if donations are accepted. This is not necessary for proofs. But maybe members want that information public.
I do not plan for nastyfans to disappear. But some times shit happens and I want us to be prepared.
