The next distribution is finally accepted. I handled 2 auction transactions with 0 tx fee so I use the extra 0.001 BTC to allow 0.0015 BTC tx fee for the distribution. Sorry for any confusion. I am working out issues like micro coins still. But I be careful that donations are distributed correctly.

The "micro coins" (in this case, they're small-ish like 0.00008 BTC each) ... that's the main reason you're having age problems.

If you do a "sweep" (pay the entire wallet balance to itself as a single lump sum) ---> a larger "coin lump" doesn't need to age compared to a wallet full of multiple tiny amounts. (also, the transaction size will go down because you're using a single, larger input coin rather than multiple)

Thank you. I work to keep micro coins out of distribution path.

Just saw the transaction (not up to 6 confirmations yet, but whatever)
Block 213576 contains today's distributions.

... but I have 15 seats now. Why aren't the 3 new ones I got yesterday accepting donations?
Block 213454 contains the transaction where I picked up 3 more seats (paid, and long-since confirmed)

There's only one place on the settings to flag donations, and since it's either on or off, I would assume all 15 are accepting

...but according to this math, but instead was only credited for 12 seats:

0.00083549 * 12 = 0.01002588 BTC (sent to 1FfbjBUy91ADZFH31MGqxJGejXPyVH8KSt)

Why are all those tiny micro coins in the nasty fans wallet?

I have no idea who is sending those micro coins, but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth.
The amount looks like somebody is visiting Bitvisitor.com and is using the fan club donation address for payouts. But yeah: Thanks!

... it only gets better...
I have problems pushing the distributions. The problem is the low total (5 BTC) and large transaction (8 KB) and young Bitcoins (2-3 days). This means I must pay a large tx fee (0.005 BTC).

If we are patient then after a couple days it should allow 0.0005 BTC tx fee. I plan to delay the distribution until I am allowed a 0.0005 BTC tx fee. I write this in case members ask why the next distribution takes so long.

No probs

Section at bottom explains fees on small amounts / aging (For calculation of transaction fees)

...multiple small amounts of 0.00008 BTC Huh seriously? That'll never age properly if you don't do a sweep.

Thanks for keeping us updated! Maybe we should do a bi-weekly distribution if that would make things easier? Until the ASICs arrive of course Wink

Does it just immediately jump from unpaid to paid after some number of confirmations without any status update on the first few confirmations?

Edited to add:

ah, it just changed to:

paid purchase orders by kuzetsa waiting for confirmations... nevermind, that answers my question.

It takes 6 confs to complete everything.

yeah, I just saw that / edited once I thought to check the policy (included the quote from policy)

thanks Smiley

Code:
unpaid purchase orders by kuzetsa:
seats bought || total price (BTC) || please send payment to || cancel
3            || 1.1555            || 1HJnj1JkxQjXe4waCr1UeDmLYvxmgDHceh

but I HAVE paid:

ada862d4a0588c0f3ce79e0e9fad930effaa71bb51696fcdd38c940ee6191088 (2 confirmations as of monday december 24 @ 17:09 UTC)

... so why does it still say this?

Also, oops:

sorry, I'm a double-dumbass.

Just saw this on the policy thinger:

Code:
a seat is transferred to a new owner after six Bitcoin transaction confirmations for the payment

In the nastyfans account settings it is possible now to give a Bitcoin address to use for your identity. PGP fingerprints are also possible.

I was wondering about the ASICs; I believe that in the GLBSE era there was a plan to have a certain amount of Mh/s correspond with 1 share. Now that there's been another FPGA purchase which is also another ASIC-trade-in, and now that the ASIC specs have been seriously adjusted, what does this add up to?

It may be a bit early but it does determine the value of the NastyMining Operation Smiley

See the below quote.   Smiley

Looking over the amount of BTC we've been able to mine since GLBSE went down, we have enough to order another BitForce Single SC for Nasty Mining.  This brings us to a total of 744GH/s or 29.76MH/s per seat in ASICs on order.  With there being no way to send donations to Nasty Fans currently, I feel this is a good use of BTC.

Sweet! I must have missed that. Thanks for digging up that post!

I wait to start a poll about unclaimed seats until 7 days pass with no account activation.

Right now there are 300 unclaimed seats.

I submit this poll option: Lottery - Current number of seats = number of lottery entries you get.

E-mail was sent to the new additions. All e-mail is now sent.

Basically, assuming a default configuration, you have something like 100 "hidden" addresses sitting in your wallet.

Thank you for your efforts. I created a script to automatically extract hidden private keys using:

(pseudo-script)
listtransactions '*' | getrawtransaction 1 | dumpprivkey

I do not trust wallet.dat files. I want private keys in my backups. This script works good for me now.

How close are we to being able to distribute donations on nonnakip's site?

nonnakip has already completed the first donation distribution.
