central banking = outdated protocol
I have my screen shot from the day it went down plus the .csv file of my complete history. Stochastic has also posted this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/possible-claims-process-for-glbse-assets-126673 . Does that sound satisfactory to you OgNasty?  I have just received a confirmation from Friedcat for my claim with asicminer.

OgNasty, is the OP of this thread dynamically-updated, or does it only update when you manually change it? It'd be neat to have a dedicated page to constantly-updated Nasty Mining stats.

This thread is manually updated with not much in the way of statistics.  GLBSE going down caused some changes to be made in how we calculate stats, since the bitcoin addresses we were tracking belonged to GLBSE.  However, this operation is very much alive and I expect some positive developments in the near future.

well ok :/ guess we're not on ozcoin anymore. Any chance you'd be willing to either update stats more regularly or tell us which pool so we can check?

Saw you updated the OP to reflect the 8th BFL single (non-asic) since my last post. Thanks...

UPDATE:
Received BFL Single #8 today.  It is up and running with no issues so far.  Now to wait for the ASICs...

^That was a few weeks ago...

Yet the OP hasn't been updated to reflect that 8 are up and running.

Edited to add:

Quote from another thread... apparently, asset lists shouldn't be delayed much longer

...in theory?

I'm really not sure what to make of this, nor do I really know if this is an accurate representation of the (continued delays) status:

nefario still is not complying with requests for shareholder information and, independently, he may or may not be facing prison time for violating financial laws in the UK. Everyone wants his head on a stick, next to pirate's and zhoutong's.

Everyone wants his head on stick because he is not complying with requests for shareholder information...
Absurd that he holds that info hostage because his script paid out more than it should. One has got nothing to do with the other ! One screw-up should NOT lead to another one !!!
Please see my statement at
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1313150
He doesn't want to hold the assets hostages and he doesn't plan to do so, but he needs to change the script so that all the people that paid back the double payment get their assets while the once that didn't pay it, don't get their assets.
Hence the only assets that will be held hostage is the once of the people that didn't pay back, the rest will get their assets. That's how I have understood the situation.

I think if nefario had bad intentions he wouldn't have paid back funds in accounts.  The current with holding of shareholder information seems either to be either something he's holding ransom on clawbacks that haven't paid or possibly there's some legal issues with the lists being distributed and that's holding it up.

The delay is well exceeding any reasonable reason.
We have to pick up the pieces and carry on I think.

I wouldn't count Nefario out just yet, but I agree that this delay is ridiculous. I have to wonder how in the world Nefario thinks people would trust him again if he tried to start up a "legit" version of GLBSE.

Has nefario at any point mentioned what the hold up on releasing the list is due to?  I'm assuming it's the claw-backs.  Here's hoping we get back something soon on this.

I've received nothing official from Nefario up to this point.  I've tried contacting him, but with no response.  The claw-backs were the publicly given reason for the delay, but I will admit I am beginning to get nervous.

What does it mean 'they are doing this over at MOORE"??
Have you received any feedback from nefario? Can we please get some update on what is going on?

I mean that (( the original post for MOORE (mining bond) was edited )) to look like this:

Announcement

In case of the possibility we could not receive the shareholders data, we begin collecting the claims ourselves.

Please send to ([email protected]) your number of shares and your Bitcoin address for receiving dividends. Please annotate that they are MOORE shares to avoid confusion with ASICMINER or MU shares. You could accompany them with any evidence you think is OK to provide. It is highly recommended that you use an address that you have its private key. By that, you may enjoy more facilities provided by our future automatic migrating platform.

Nefario seems to be working manually through a list of overpayments. The last blog entry says he's halfway through: http://blog.glbse.com. That was Oct 24. So I think, it'll take another 3 weeks since Oct 24. I hope he releases the list next week.

So much for getting those payments before Bitcoin Friday  Cry

same. I can basically only infer.

the ONLY record I have is a rough estimate of the rate NASTY was trading at, and some notion of how much BTC I sent toward GLBSE... any rough estimates I make could be off by quite a lot though, since AT LEAST one of the shares I bought was above 0.6 BTC (and I'm pretty sure the IPO was less than 0.3 BTC)

@l3sny

If I can prove my GLBSE deposit address, do you want ognasty to just give me credit for all my shares as though I bought 100% of them during IPO? (I'm not seriously asking this. Just pointing out that even if I can prove stuff, it really doesn't make much difference if it's not an exact accounting up to the very last second when GLBSE was still letting people trade.)

Actually, screw it. They're doing this over at MOORE so I'm going to come out and do the same.

Do you have any advice to shareholders that are unsure of how many shares they owned at the time the GLBSE stopped providing any data? I unfortunately didn't have an up-to-date copy of my CSV file when they went down Sad

Same here, I have no Idea how many share I had. I didn't keep much attention to it, just occasionally bought some when they where cheap. What should I claim? A random number that looks nice? The only thing I know is that I had (have?) shares.

http://blockchain.info/address/1Pof8KZ8iBmYUJBn8XWe4uaxg7N4JvdTmR

However, The address I gave to GLBSE for "refund purposes" (they never sent me back a single satoshi from my GLBSE balance)

was this:

http://blockchain.info/address/1FfbjBUy91ADZFH31MGqxJGejXPyVH8KSt

The only transaction for that address was the one where I tested the address was correct by sending myself some money prior to pasting it to the GLBSE "blah blah we're closing, give us and address for refund, and permission blah blah continue contact with asset issuer"

This:

((...snip...))
I haven't got anything but this weirdo email...

I gave them my email address, a bitcoin address under my control, and clicked the checkbox to let them share my info with asset issuer(s)

... Nobody has sent back a single satoshi to the address I provided (it's one I control... Even tested / sent myself a bit of BTC to test before pasting it on the GLBSE website the other day)

Assuming I got all my shares at IPO rate, I would have more than 20 shares:

Honesty / disclosure: I got many of them for less. the real number is closer to 15 because I bought a few for 30-70% above IPO price. I do not remember how many my total was up to the week GLBSE shut down Sad

I am the one who knocks
It is my understanding that we are waiting on Nefario because without him any solution would be less than optimal.

In fact I am not sure how anyone would prove to OgNasty how much interest they had in the operation with out, although I am glad he is thinking of a plan B.

A plan B? Good to hear. If you want to get the things done just do it yourself.

Perhaps putting a bit of pressure on the guy? Why does it take so much time? People are getting impatient and what is the most worrying the whole project needs more funding! Can we please see more action and a bit more transparency? Was there any communication with nefario? Why the things are so slow? Personally I would like to see the guy roasted. He set up a project and people have invested their funds. Now all is going nowhere, no updates no communication.
Of course I still have much trust, respect and confidence in OgNasty but I would like to see the things progressing a bit.
