Don't stress it. I'll contact our domain provider today and find out why this keeps happening. It should fix itself for you shortly.
I'm stressing!  I have to leave for a while today soon...

Crap it happened again. I'm not sure what's going on.. Working on it guys..
It's looking like it's something at my provider.. Can't resolve to nastyfan.org at all on any of my computers.  Rebooting my router again..

Something must have changed with the Domain provider.  I was warned about it yesterday by nonnakip, but the site was still working fine for me so I didn't think twice about it.  I assume any outages due to this will be short lived and won't require anything on our end.

EDIT:  Looks like you were down for about 3 hours.  Not the end of the world.  Smiley   Worth noting that NastyMining uses a local node and is not effected by this.

Is there something going on with the DNS for Nastyfans.org?  I checked in on the single I'm running and noticed that it can't connect to the site.. Not sure if it's on my end or what..
Yay, I'm back.. Not sure what happened, sorry guys.. Don't think I was down for too long - 45 minutes maybe..

Perhaps a page at nastyfans.org that would pull the info so we could see it.

I added the BitMinter avatar to the "mining" tab of nastyfans.org.

Cool deal.
At least BFL came through with something.
This should help overall.

I got us set up on bitminter.com.  It seemed like they were the next best choice.  Automated payouts are set to 0.01 BTC & 0.1 NMC.

For the distribution this week we execute part two of NASTY MINING 2 year celebration... lottery drawing! The program to execute lottery is available as source here. The block containing the distribution this week is the block for the drawing.

The members that participated in celebration already see their lottery tickets when they sign in to nastyfans.org.

Good luck!

Is that the one that just went out?

I got us set up on bitminter.com.  It seemed like they were the next best choice.  Automated payouts are set to 0.01 BTC & 0.1 NMC.  Hopefully this is somewhat temporary and we have hardware soon.  I don't think any integration with nastyfans.org is necessary or worth the effort.

EDIT:  As a side note, BFL's cloud mining is ridiculously responsive.  It took only a few seconds between clicking update and seeing submitted shares on Bitminter.

I would not use them.
There have been a bunch of issues there lately.
If you read the thread some is FUD and a bunch of it legitimate issues.  For more consistent payouts I would say BTCGuild.
For fewer problems I would say BTCG.

There is only one in that list that has public stats and 0% fees. That is Eligius.

I'm leaning towards Eligius at the moment.  If there are no objections, I will make this change later tonight when I get a chance to set it up.

Given the criteria, Eligius is the best choice, however I do agree with BTCGuild or Bitminter choices. In spite of its fee, BTCGuild in particular will return slightly more BTC over time than Eligius, but less NMC. There are several long-running benchmarks that show this. With either of those two choices we could get around the public stats issues with the API. Perhaps a page at nastyfans.org that would pull the info so we could see it.

The only concern I would have with Bitminter is their recent hostility towards Multipool.us based on an ignorance of statistics among the users. I wouldn't want something like that to happen to nastyfans.

I wouldn't be too concerned about payout issues on Eligius. Things get backed up from time to time, but they always pay. The biggest issue there is the affect of the ongoing DDoS attacks that will occasionally slow mining and thus lower reward.

I personally have used every pool on this list.

BTCGuild is the old reliable, you can't go wrong with it although 2% is a little much. It does of NMC as well.

I would vote for Eligius, I love their public stats and I like the way they payout. My 2nd choice would be for BitMinter simple because it was my first pool.

I vote for BTCGuild.
2% fee may seem steep but it has the following benefits.
Best up-time of all the listed pools.
Excellent statistical info and graphs.
Overall the "luck" usually stays above 100% for the month despite having bad days like any other pool.
Solid payout structure.

At all costs boycott ghash until they are out of business.

Here are the BFL Cloud Mining Pool options:
Eclipse
Eligius
GHash.io
Slush
BTCGuild
Bitminter
Multipool
Triple Mining

I have admittedly not kept up with which pool is offering what, but ideally I would like to find one that offered public stats and 0% fees.  Go ahead and make your case for which pool we should be using.
