Until now neo can't overtake ethereum but Xrp can only do that so that i always keeping ethereum will be next to bitcoin always, this year is the year for xrp can overtake ethereum.
NEO is a quality project. but it is difficult to surpass ether. Ether is the creator of smart contracts. it has always been the most popular ICO platform. it has built a huge ecosystem. NEO is hard to achieve this in the short term.
Neo was a popular on last bullrun when we had a lot of ICOs. But seems they have a lot of problem and as I see nowdays a lot of project moving their tokens from NEO to Ethereum blockchain (for example NKN). Some good quality new blockchain going to be launched soon in China (like Pchain). so it will be hard for NEO keep a good position even in China...
I keep telling crypto enthusiasts to stop comparing projects.
no matter how much you tell them to stop they will still continue to compare coins because they think that one coin is better than the other which was true.

what uniqueness ? eth is only unique because it can act as gas to other tokens and alts when trading . eth can also create smart contracts . while on neo , i dont know about anything with it . all i know is that neo is a normal kind of altcoin .

each coin has advantages and disadvantages so everyone chooses coins based on their taste and superiority.
because if the NEO exceeds ETH, it's difficult because the altcoin ETH is number 1 so don't compare it to anyone.
I think it shows the political dimension that is involved when it comes to introducing money into markets, or even international markets. It will be that way forever. Money entails the seek for power.
NEO is mainly China focused only while Ethereum is global. NEO has only a few projects on its blockchain as compared to hundreds on Ethereum.

At the end of 2017, Neo looked very good. But I do not think that this coin will ever be able to overtake Ethereum. It seems to me that Ethereum is stronger.
I generally think that the NEO project is not needed to anyone. Moreover, he is not able to overtake Ethereum. it sounds like the fantasy of the NEO founder

Only a joker or someone who doesn't monitor the crypto market very well or understand the two coins can even dream of this happening. ETH will always maintain its edge ahead of NEO.yes it is true with what you say and I agree with your opinion, basically it is clear that ETH has a better potential than the NEO, for its growth it is very clear that ETH will be able to return to its highest price, so things will not happen even though for a long time.

Both of them are very trusted and developed project. And at this moment ethereum is the most used and popular platform token available in the whole market. Bit technically neo is better than ethereum. They have better in ways of scalability and txn . Neo has more txn than ethereum. And they don't charge any kind of txn fees. And also if you hold them you will be reward gas in your wallet. Many good project building over neo at this moment. Still its hard for neo to beat ethereum
