Neo and Eth both are different blockchain development projects but neo blockchain is more advanced then eth what all mistake and bugs eth blockchain had neo surpassed it in its blockchain but both coins are nt in comparison
It is unlikely that this will happen, because neo is a good coin, but not so much as to exceed Ethereum!
Everyone keeps saying that neo will surpass eth.. how come then the price hasn't even gone over $100 :/
Ethereum was the first to launch the technology of creating tokens and a smart contract and I think that there is no better coin than Ethereum in the given direction of development.
Both NEO and ETH, which have their own potential and technology, to compare NEO beyond ETH is a different aspect. If the technology is really good, the price will change over time.
This thread started last May 2018 and now we are 2019 and I am 100% sure NEO is nothing compared to ETH. Look at NEO's development? I rarely hear them and only a few project runs under its blockchain. Ethereum now is progressing tremendously and is now going to upgrade to give more features. I have heard that there will be a subscription feature on the new Ethereum which is very helpful to those who loves to subscribe.
I believe in the future, the distance between NEO and ETH will be shortened and NEO will be able to surpass ETH in the future. I used to love ETH, but recently I saw other altcoin growing very quickly and the future of ETH is very dangerous
unfortunately neo doesn't have good developments like ethereum. the use of their platform is not so great, maybe in the future it can happen, provided that neo is able to survive and continue to grow because this market will get rid of those who are not developing and silent. 
I did not think so. Ethereum is second most trusted cryptocurrency backed by many ICOs supporting projects backed up by good upcoming development in projects. It is very hard for Neo to surpass due to wide gap between these 2 coinmarketcap.

Neo cant surpass eth because ethereum has a lot of potential than neo and it has a very large marketcap.

I don't think that's going to happen. Perhaps NEO is a good project in this market, in which it makes sense to invest your money, but still Ethereum has a very large trading volume, and has a large market capitalization. Ethereum by far have more advantages than the NEO.but Ethereum cannot be compared to other Altcoin because he is the best Altcoin, so he is strong to maintain and able to fight for it.

I don't think that's going to happen. Perhaps NEO is a good project in this market, in which it makes sense to invest your money, but still Ethereum has a very large trading volume, and has a large market capitalization. Ethereum by far have more advantages than the NEO. 
I do not think that NEO will succeed in replacing ethereum. Ethereum is much more popular in the world. NEO can become very popular in China.
It is not always like that in surpassing such a great coin (ETH) Eth will always be there to help us in fast transaction with less fee and also eth supports so many tokens and it can adapt in any markets nowadays. NEO is still new but it will always have the potential to surpass it may happen in the future but not today 
much respect to all altcoins and the project team and their developers but from my own perspective, i do not consider NEO a worthy competition for the ethereum blockchain as the massive adoption of the project called ethereum speaks for itself greatly and makes it the head of its association since its the father and first position or innovator of the smart contract feature.

as far as I know NEO has a pretty good technology and there are even some things that are better than ETH.You must remember that all coins have their respective advantages and disadvantages so that the NEO has the potential to surpass ETH even though it is still difficult now.

Neo of course a good coin , but I would not draw conclusions that it can take the place of Ethereum , but as a competitor and a great investment it is suitable for this coin 
Not everyone is saying Neo will surpass Ethereum. I for one, I have never believed that Neo has what it takes to go over Ethereum. Neo is an excellent blockchain no doubt but in terms of acceptability and popularity, Ethereum bosses it
Ethereum have still the most numbers of supporters, we can't say things which still far from reality and because of this bearish market even NEO has the quality being developed well but there's still hindrance as investors will always looking for much supported coins to support and hold, time for both
coins to compete and prove it worth after the bear.
Honestly, I did not hear everyone say that, and I often hear it, and I myself think that Ethereum is much better!
It all depends on how big NEO demand will be. Although so far comparing the market cap of both these coins, the chances that NEO will surpass ETH in the near future are very small. NEO has great potential, but ETH has gathered a larger community and is more acceptable to users.
