You need to avoid news and FUD, Neo is developing at a steady rate, while ETH has developed and is maintaining its development at a more steady and stable rate, thus the need to compare them to one another is uncalled for.

NEO i am holding i bought at the price of 100$ still holding and also trying to grab some more goo thing with neo compare to ethereum while staking we will get reward even while keepi ng in exchanges like binance its really impressed me . More than that NEO is attracting more projects and easy to use web wallet like Neotracker.
I highly doubt something like this will happen anytime in the near future. I do realize that NEO is basically the Chinese version of Ethereum, but the Chinese government have taken strict measures against Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market which means there are far lower investors who have invested in NEO when compared to pre-regulation period. This is one reason why I feel NEO cannot catch up to Ethereum in value at the moment, but it could in the future if its popularity continues to rise. I have a small stack of NEO myself which I am HODLING for the long term.

If that could happen highly depends on China. If they lift the ICO bans then it could become true. You should know that most of the crypto-currency is created on the Ether, and also use the platform block and platform for ICO. Perhaps, Ether would have remained among the leaders, but NEO is going to give a worthy rebuff and competing. The main task of NEO is to create a unique platform that would be ideal for Chinese developers.

A lot of people can say many things but it doesn't mean it is going to happen especially in the crypto world, I don't think that NEO is going to overtake ETH not anytime soon anyway but you never know.
I think it's very difficult for NEO to go beyond ETH, unless it can be as good as it could be, but I think it's hard to achieve, so I don't think it will go beyond Ethereum. I think Ethereum will have a big future. Prospects.

maybe soon or maybe not at all. both coins are worth promising but eth is ahead of neo. we would be seeing neo catching eth if it start to increase its price and may eventually surpass it but that is will it happen or not. future is bright but we can't accurately predict it.
I know those buzzers keep telling you stories about how their coins will get ahead of ETH or BTC.

Are there any good projects actually using NEO network for their smart contracts? I have seen the price growing but I have no idea if there is any real future for NEO there
I even think a better project would surpass both of them, in technical terms both seems primitive, people should not forget the fact that the space is still young and both have their shortcomings. I just have a feeling in 5 -10 years we will be talking a better projects in the space much more advance than the ones we have now
