I think that for both projects the next year will be decisive. Now the ethereum wins. And next year they will have a decisive competitive battle!
I think that there is really everything, but of course the price is a bit different, but depends on what you are talking about the price or the similarity and need of these platforms!
They are both concentrate to the smart contracts but Neo is Chinese version of Ethereum and one day ban from China will be taken off and this can effect to price of Neo, its good investment for long term NEO.
The etherium platform is an innovative solution in the field of crypto currency. It was the first to provide a convenient tool for the implementation of decentralized applications, and until now is the leader in this matter.
It seems to me that NEO has few chances against Ethereum. They do not offer anything new, just copies the basic functions of ETH.

For me i believe in neo because neo have potiencial to pump than the ethereum and neo is a great project and many investor of neo are success.
I like both coins. I think that now is a good time to start investing in these coins. But we must be careful when choosing coins, because now the situation is tough on the crypto currency market.
NEO is a very promising altcoin, but it's too early to say that NEO can replace Ethereum. Ethereum is more common and in demand than NEO. Perhaps in a few years the situation will change dramatically.

NEO is not working properly even though the team is claiming that it's faster than Ethereum. This is a lie. I remember I wanted to participate in Trinity network ICO and the whole NEO blockchain was down only because of one freaking ICO.
