As btc is not replaceable in its position so do ETH.
Neo is centralized so it have a much easier path to scaling and progress. ETH is trying to do something no one has really done before.
I do not think that NEO can surpass Ethereum. I believe that Ethereum will remain the best coin after bitcoin.
At any day I will choos ethereum over neo. neo got a lot of hype in its initial days. But it has not shown any promise till now.. On the other hand, Eth has such a nice platform and good technology.

NEO has a strong support from Chinese Government and large investors, but I think they need to put in marketing because they are developing in isolation, supporting mainly chinese projects, if they want to get a bigger audience, they need to scale.

I'm disappointed in Ethereum. But I still believe that he will become strong and just as popular. NEO I don't like. I'm relying on Ethereum. Ethereum has two options! Or it will become the old and main currency of the crypto market. It will pass all the operations of purchase. i think eth won't let anything to replace it. though no doubts neo is growing steong but it still needs to overcome dash and litecoin as well

Indeed, the price of ethereum is so down, right now it is not just the half price of last year, it is lower. I hope it becomes better soon. I hope all coins will be recovered.

Well, if we consider both coins for investment then I think they should be in the bag , but now of course it is even better to wait and get lower

Yes you can say NEO will be next ethereum. Neo is first digital currency developed by china against use of ethereum and having more future than other digital currency and this factor is responsible for its price hike.

I doubt that NEO will replace ETH. ETH is already a strong and popular coin with a large community and good developers.
Of course, NEO has the potential, it's a good platform. But Ethereum has more growth prospects.
