Easy solution to your money earning from gambling issue - 1) teach kids that gambling is not the way to earn money 2) teach them alternative, more profitable way to earn money. Easy, problem solved. Want to show kids way to earn money quickly - pay them (little) for dishwashing or cleaning up the house.

"First of all the parents should not be gambling in the first place" - comment on that? Why is it prohibited for adults to gamble? And why you wear gambling signature then?

What mental problems kids get if they watch someone gamble? Banal circus visit cause more mental problems imho, when you start to think how these animals are kept and how they are trained.

I don't know why we shouldn't gamble in front of kids. Yes, of course, the gambling advertisers are losing everything for just gambling, and it's a bad influence on kids. I agree with that. But I really don't understand why people always think that when it comes to gambling, it's only for people who are addicted to gambling. There are people out there who have gambling responsibilities. And it's not really having a bad influence on kids at all, I believe. Because I know everyone knows about gambling, and everyone told us not to get addicted to it and to act responsibly. But no one tells us how to gamble responsibly, so when someone knows how to do it and it's helping kids to know, then it's not a bad thing to gamble in front of the kids.

That's how marketing ads affects some.people most especially those kids who are into social media. Kid's nowadays are very curious to try everything they see especially if the ads is very catchy with their claims of winning huge prize once you try it, Even some adults can fall into that .Since we're living with this modern technology, It is kinda hard to keep track their activities via phone so parents should know what will be the alternative ways to prevent their kids doing it. Even if a parents is doing well on hiding their gambling activity, their kids can get it from other people especially from those they see on social media so It's better to explain them about it and advice them that gambling is not for kids.

The more parents keep their gambling habit a secret the more  we hear stories like I started playing bet at an early age, so in conclusion some children who are into gambling today learnt it online, we can't protect and guard our kids forever and the use of cell phones are common now, every little child wants to own a cell phone, people nowadays no longer hide their gambling habit online they love showcasing their betting skill and any child that lacks proper home training can adopt the habit to gamble.
I don't know if this is common but anytime am with my phone and I enter any social app I will always see random videos  adverting betting platform, one thing with betting platform they have the best and smart move to advertise their platform even in skit videos I see comedians advertising betting platform.
So keeping our gambling life a secret from our kids that's not enough, but training them and setting a right example for them will be better, educating them about the consequence of playing bet just like what the op did.

In addition, with today's technology where most people cannot be far from the gadgets they own so gambling advertises all over the internet and this also makes it easier for them to find out about gambling if they can already socialize with many people, also when they grow up they have the right to choose something that they think is good for themselves, even with gambling which is not a good thing they can just do it because they follow the current technological developments. They will also do it and try their luck because of curiosity, curiosity in adult children is very large, there are many things they want to know so they will do what they want.
With the development of technology at this time, gambling can be done by anyone regardless of age, unlike gambling in casinos which of course has rules against age limits, but online gambling does not require that, parental supervision of their children will disappear when they grow up because they will have their own thoughts and decide everything around them.

As it's too difficult to control kids. It only requires carrying them on our shoulders to send them to sleep. And such an exercise takes up our schedule too, You'd see that the only moment conducive for gambling is when the child is at sleep.

First of all the parents should not be gambling in the first place. If the kid watches his parents gambling, he is going to think that it is a perfect thing to earn money. But of course that is not something anyone should do. Because it will only get you quick money. And we all know that quick money comes with slow problems.  A kid watching gambling at a young age is always going to cause serious problems in his mentality. And gambling is not a scale that is going to give you very good returns in the long term, if you want entertainment that is another talk.

Young children generally respond positively to what their parents do. If they do gambling or any other negative thing, the kids will think about it positively. Now that all types of gambling can be conducted online, they can get easy access in the gambling platforms. Therefore, children should be kept away from discussing gambling matters. As much as possible positive discussion should be done in front of them. They should be taken to ensure that they do not drift away from their general education through negligence. A person can gamble when he becomes an adult but if one becomes addicted to gambling during his youth then he will be ruined.

Children absorb actions like sponges. Actions, not words, shape their future. Smoking cessation and acknowledging its influence on your brother are admirable. Is quitting enough? Children mimic acts and attitudes. Quitting smoking was powerful, but how are you replacing it? Positive behavior must be shown. Engaging in healthier activities shows resilience and self-improvement.

Though impressionable, these young minds must learn about rehabilitation and change. Its not enough to protect children from negatives; you must actively encourage them. Beyond preventing vices, you must instill self-control, resilience, and good decision-making. Developing a well-rounded person requires eliminating negatives and fostering strengths.

These lads are in the stages of their life where they copy and paste what they see adults doing. They look up to the elderly ones for inspiration and guidance, even when you think they're are not observing what you do, or that they don't understand it. They have sharp and retentive memories and tends to replicate whatever they see grownups do, especially those ones they are comfortable around.
You did well by preventing her from gambling at a very tender age, else her childhood would be overtaken by her desire to gamble and she will loose interest in other important factors for her adequate development. Things we do either affect these younger ones positively or negatively, so we need to be on the watch and strife to pass quality mentoring to them. I stopped smoking because I found out my younger brother was smoking and he was not doing it in moderation, so I took it upon myself to be a good example to him to help him stop his newly found bad habit.  We should be more careful when these young ones are around as what we do before them today somehow shapes their tomorrow and decides the kind of adults that the society will produce in the future.

They are setting you as a good example so it's better to choose things that you want to show from them, like what you said will be remembered
while they grow and see you as a model for what they want to become.

Too much drama but it's true in my opinion that if you are not careful enough to think about those bad habits, you will find yourself having an issue with

your kids when the time comes that they already have that access to any gambling site or place where they can perform it on their own.

How come you be sure, that from million things that kid saw, he will imitate exactly gambling? I mean kid see you doing lots of things, will he imitate all of them? No.

All of you here have a strange vision of parenting. Instead of talking you prefer to hide. Instead of explaining with examples you prefer to bad or forbit. Why do you do that? Are you lazy or so damn busy to talk with your kid?

All of you that uses "kid will copy what adults do" - what do you do when you are out with your kid and someone outside is smoking or buying (not to mention drinking) alcohol for example? What will you do? Close kids eyes? Cross the street? Walk backwards? Tell stranger that "he should not be smoking" because your kid will also start smoking?

And I like how everyone adds "...because I know how bad or harmful gambling is". Then explain to the kid and be sure he understands that.

I know how you guys act in 99.99% cases. You gamble at home, the kid see is it and approaches to you. Then you tell him to go to his room, not to watch, leave or do whatever to make him not be around. And you do with high tone, often with aggression in your voice. Because you were interrupted. Then the kid leaves in a bad mood, not understanding why he was blamed or what just had happened.

What kids learn at their tender age sticks more to their young growing minds and they often get the thoughts of trying them out. It's just like smoking in front of your kids, they might one day wanna try it and see how it actually feels because the idea is stuck in their head and if you're not careful, they could doing the same thing at a very tender age which isn't good for their growth. So it sure is very important to keep your kids away from anything that would tend to corrupt their morals as growing kids. Not just gambling but every other activities that may appear indecent to them at that tender age.

Will never gamble in front of my Kids , never mate because I know how gambling will change their life ,
I have also grow in a community that gamblers are constantly playing in front of their family , so yeah Will not let
them learn in early days but will tell them how it works in the mature days .and also there is a proper time for them
to start learning so let time flies and let them enjoy their time in school and playing.

That is something that may have happened in many places because we don't know what the conditions are like in their places. Children who are exposed to the things their parents do start to follow what their parents do and if they see their parents gambling, maybe they will also follow them secretly.
Imagine if that happened to our children when our children became addicted to gambling. We as parents definitely cannot accept it and will try to cure our children.
If we still want to gamble, it's best to hide it from our children so they don't get curious about what we're doing. It could have an impact on them and they'll figure it out on their own.

Kids often learn by imitating what they see, so if they see that one of their parent gambles then at some point they are going to want to do it themselves as well, and even if the parent admonished them against it, their children will be too curious about it and they will try it anyway.

So if someone is going to keep gambling despite having children already, then they need to do everything to hide this fact, otherwise they may find themselves in the same situation of your neighbor.

Because of the psychological approach to gambling and all the mental manipulations and control that goes with gambling, it is not adviced to have children indulge in it and if children must avoid it then they must be kept away from involving themselves in acquisition of any knowledge that keeps itself within the gambling arena.

Imagine having a kid see his parents gamble, remember, the parents are always the first role model of kids, whatever they see you do or say is what's termed right for them therefore they replicate, in cases of gambling, they might take a little more time to get to know how exactly it is done but once they get to finally find out, that's it for them.

Getting those kind of kids out of gmbling takes extra effort than the regular.

One of my neighbor is facing this kind of problem in the compound, and he has done everything to stop his children not to gamble anymore but his children are addicted to it, and they have sold many things to gamble that led them to prison. Based on the story their children told me when I was taking some words from their months, they said their father started teaching them home to gamble when they were a little children but their mother always against what their father was doing in the front of the children, but it was a surprise to the man seeing his children gambling anyhow in the society.

I don't allow my kids to come close to my phone or system but I made their own phone and laptop available for them to do their assignment, and non of them knew that I am a gambler because I don't do it in the presence of my wife and children.

You are right, but you know what is harmful if things like this are not done, that they will See it from other children that perhaps their parents will see it, if we, as parents, take the time to explain these types of things to them , how they work , and why a child should not play or try to play, is the main reason why they are faced with this information that they see through others, or even have the same interest when they start to see any type of games, there is already advertising, that is where they look at the casino announcements, and many other things , children today have to be Talked to a lot about any topic , because now the freedom of information is too broad, There is no time to see how mature the children are, there is a lot of debauchery of all kinds , both in terms of places and Games of chance, which I really think is the healthiest thing they can come Across. It's true that there are things that are much darker than children can Discover and that are not at a level that they can see Because they are traumatized.

This without mentioning the things that some Countries do that confuse them to see if they are females or males because they decide whether they want to be that or an animal or something, something that I will never truly agree on, but according to these things, the most dangerous It's because a child steals his parents' credit card, which is something very bad, very out of the ordinary but it is something that can happen, in other types of games things are different because they stick to playing with strangers in a game, There is one that is very famous free fire, I Have seen cases where children have even actually killed themselves because they were forced to do so, this is something that seems very strange to me, but in reality things like this exist, cases like this, of That is what we also have to protect children from Pedophiles on the internet , criminals and sick people.

You have a valid point, though it's still best not to give them any idea about your bad habits but if in anyhow that you can't keep it as secret it will b depends from their parents on how to handle it and how they will do their best to explain or to guide those young mings to lessen the chance of following their footsteps or to prevent them doing the same mistake.

I would say that your first sample have an impact, not to allow yourself o to follow that bad habits to repeat your parents mistakes, if that the sentiment that will be develop, then it will be a good guidance for your kids.
