also had miners. all the time restarting and not connecting to router. no ip.
had s9 l3+ all was good. Problem with this one. tried RR everything / checked cables / lan / psu - nothing.

any thoughts ?

Just got my A3 in, nice piece of work by Bitmain! Similar to an L3+ in build. First impression is that it runs more quiet than the L3+ and definitely more quiet than an S9.

Yes I did see that. Good ole Vosk. Good dude. Calculators are just general yardsticks but the calculators are showing around $380.00 PD current. Should be much less by sundown....

My antminer A3 arrived one hashboard dead .
1st time I plugged in,One blade is dead.
PLEASE see the picture.

plug some appliance like a hair dryer or hair clipper into each outlet
and turn them on.

now go flip your breakers one by one if they are not labled until one or both appliances turn off

if both turn off on the same breaker you know they are on the same circuit.

also rember household 110 or 120v are not rates for CONTINUOUS draw of 1500 watts, you should try to split the 1500 watts across two circuits, which should be easy for you anyways using dual power supplies

NO ! NO ! NO ! NO !!!
Please know exactly what you're doing before bricking your miner.

You need either a 1600W power supply on a 220V circuit or a 2000W+ power supply on a 110V to run the miner.
You can theoretically power each board witt a single 600W P/S that has 3 PCIE 6 pin connectors, but them you'll need 4 power supplies (for 3 hashing boards + one for controller)
no matter what you do , you can not connect multiple different power supplies to same board !
Preferably , you should run on a 208/220/240V circuit.

unless you know what you're doing, you may also have the risk of blowing your electrical circuits as well as getting your house on fire !!

Why wouldn't 1 power supply APW3++ (1200 watts) with 3 pins-->1st board, 3 pins--> 2nd board, and 1 --> control + a second psu plugged into the same wall outlet or another at 120 volts with 600 watts do 3 pins--> 3rd board??

I dont see a problem with that, just make sure you use the same psu for each board

you need an electrician to look at this. Those outlets could be wired in series. You need a dedicated line with the correct gauge wire. This is a lot of wattage to be pulling through an unknown wire size. You can easily start a fire.

just flip your breakers with stuff connected to each outlet to find out if they are on the same wire
you definitely want to have both power supplies on different circuits

read my post you dont neen an electrician to figure out what outlet is connected on the same breaker

and yes 1800 watt on 110v 15 amp is a max of 1600 watts or so
now if your outlet is 110 you have 2200 watts or so .

but remember you can only safely pull 1400 or so watts. from the 15amp and 1700 or so from the 20 amp

all this asumes they are on different circuits

ok so I won't be pulling 1800 watts ever because people say the antminer a3 is only using 1500 Huh

Also, how will I know I have 15 amp max or 20 amp?

Plus how do I know I have different circuits?
