I have to somewhat agree and can't believe how exceptionally difficult it is to post. Many of the the issues with the programs usually say to come here if you have an issue with said programs but it is very difficult to do if you can't reply.

Need to discuss about miners (especially Diablo's) and it is much easer in forum than in Issues list on Github
Hope nobody will misinterpret this post...

I think the restrictions are a good way to filter some spam from the forum. It now requires some effort to troll at least.

I  am a member on many forums and I find it strange they have this "newbie" attitude here ..

Thank you for the fast explanation. I read way more than four hours already on this forum, but I use to show all posts rather than showing pages. That was my fault I guess.

Hi folks,

I'm Alan and new to this forum (and also new to the Bitcoin mining business).

I have to say that I don't like the "newbie restrictions" since I have an urgent request in a specific thread. A solution would've been a verification email with a code in it or something like that, or a captcha code for these so called "newbies".

Anyway, I guess I have to wait four hours.

Cheers,
Alan

Yeah 4 hours seems pretty strict for a newcomer.. maybe 1 hour would be better?

4 hours is perfect since if someone's attention span lasts that long then they are worth keeping around.

Recently learnt about btc and liked the whole thing with it. they way it exists and anonymity. It also made me understand that capitalism sucks  But whatever...
