Fairly sensible restrictions, but it is a little painful to post non intresting comments to everything. Newbies is a endless stream of one word posts and similar.

how long does it take until you can post in every forum. is it related to the number of posts?

Did you read the first post of the tread you are posting in?

Seems sensible to put restrictions for cautious measures.

Got it!  Clean read and straightforward restrictions to keep this a cleaner place.  Thanks.

the 50 post rule was good and might have actually helped clean up the other forums.  This new policy will do nothing and the other forums are already full of spam.
The other forums are full of spam?  Man, I just got done reading a math discussion that was about 2 billion pay grades over me.  I've read a ton of insightful social commentary.  I have read threads that boiled down to "Currency for dummies" and we're excellent at explaining complex topics to newbies like me.  And sure, I've read some disgruntlement about ASIC manufacturers.  But what I haven't found is anything I'd call "spam"

now this makes alot more sense why I couldnt find the "reply" button on threads. Well, its a good way to keep the spammers out.
