This is very easy rules to follow 
this makes complete sense.
good idea in filtering out the noobs but also kinda a pain to people who really want to start posting to the forum quickly
why are those restrictions in place?

Thought I could keep this site open for 5 hours to become a Jr. Member. Nope, you have to click to keep the counter running. 
Must have sucked to be one of the ones working up to post 50 times then getting the news.

I think it's a good idea to keep things in order
May be we should remove the newbie restriction for a while.
No kidding... I was clicking through a forum that I read from page 1-33, went to reply and realized no button... Thinking It was a browser Issue, I clicked through a few others... No dice until i hit the front page again.
At least now I don't think the probability is as high that I am crazy.

I have the button for quoting people but I don't see a button for posting on a thread without quoting somebody. Is this a newbie restriction or am I overlooking something?
We really need a new forum software. But shall it really be a "forum"?
Man that sucks... but oh well gotta deal with the dumb ones
Patience is a virtue. Deal with it.
I really like this concept. In my opinion a forum is a community and this is a very solid way of preventing unwanted people from getting in and effecting the rest of the community. I don't mind this wait time because I know i'm going to be joining a good reliable group of people plus there so much to learn going through theses forums this time should fly by
