I am agree with this newbie section and newbie restrictions. I think this help our comunity.

Haha... it took me a while to figure out why I can't reply to post. Should have read tha disclaimer 
the forum should allow Hero member's to whitelist newbie member's
I like this system of eliminating trolls. Other forums should adapt this system, it seems effective and more convenient for new legit members

It is a pleasant surprise to see Theymos here, as I've been a long time lurker, since ASICMINER's IPO went live in August. I somehow got into the bitcoin thing then. Always refreshing to see a familiar name running the newb end of the site.

Okay, so I'a newbie. But what the hell should I do to be able to ask my tech question?
This place sure as heck is quiet compared to the way it used to be back in 11!! 
Perhaps we would need two newbies sections, one for newbies in cages and one for newbies out of the cages.
