It takes up to 10 minutes, you're almost there  Wink

Have 4 hours in and few post. Still nothing unlocks?!

probably takes a while. I can't be of any help whatsoever, but making this post helps me and it means the admin has more posts on their site, so everyone's a winner Cheesy

(apart from you)

I spent 5 mins to sort out why I can't post in my desired topic.
maybe you should make this clear at the registration process.
I read in this forum for nearly a month and arghhh, can't post.

I believe the rules outlined by the admin should be made more clear to 'newbies' when they join the forum.

I second that.

This forum....as in the Newbie forum. I've been reading the main forums for a long time. I'd like to be contributing, but I can't.
You can read any forum for that, you aren't relegated to just reading the newbie section.
Huh Is there a language barrier here? Because I just said that I've been reading the main forums for a long time. I can't contribute there if I can't post there.

Your original post was talking about how reading the forum was a waste of time, then you clarified that to newbie forum, so I pointed out that you don't have to read just the newbie forum. Like I said, do what you want.  Wink

Looks like a very active board. I love the idea of being able to trade Amazon for BTC. Somehow I always end up with Amazon.

The principled side of me tells me not to play the silly game and post a bunch of nonsense just so I can be allowed to post in the other forums. The rational side of me tells me that my doing that won't change anything, that you won't care in the slightest, and that the forum will retain this stupid policy no matter what I do. I haven't decided which side to listen to yet.

Do what you want, if you feel your time is better spent doing...this then go for it.

just get your posts and time logged, then enjoy the rest of the board.  more productive to enter into a discussion about noob policy as a valued member and possibly work with the community and admins to find a more satisfactory policy, than to bite your nose off to spite your face and change nothing.

And spending ANY time reading posts in this forum IS?

If there is truly nothing on this entire forum that interests you then why are you here?

Well, you can always just click something every 15 minutes...

you have to post too.

4 hours is no time to gain access but write a post is more difficult for a reader "typo"

wait this hasn't been so difficult Wink
