I think if we are talking about stability the top altcoins are not stable either. The problem that revolves around low rank altcoins are their market volume or liquidity that's kind of low. it got delisted by the exchanges and we're done for, the coin will have no value as there's no demand and no exchange to trade either.

Yes, if you buy a new crypto it will be high risk but it's different if you buy a reputable crypto in top 10, but not all new crypto ends up scam, there are some good and promising new coins like Hive

Yes, it is certainly not wrong for a newbie recommendation that is just starting to open an investment, but learning about crypto for them is far more important than trying to invest but they don't have enough knowledge for it.

sometimes a lot of people are like that, they don't really understand cryptocurrency and don't really know where to enter because there are many new traders who still don't know the right position and sometimes they can't control their patience so they easily panic and others that make investment into it's useless because it's only getting losses.

Yes, all Altcoin and Bitcoin do have temporary values supported by existing trading in the market, this is something we must not deny, although everyone must always be vigilant about their investments, both in the short and long term, because when Altcoin enthusiasts and Bitcoin starts to decline, then their value will also indirectly decline in the market.
I think that the best advice for newbie is to "think own head". Because following the advice of more experienced forum users, it falls into hothouse conditions. newbie should be able to absorb information about coins from everywhere and then systematize it and conduct its own analytical calculations.And then make own choice based on own calculations.
All top altcoins are far from their old ATH since 2017 but today they are still surviving, this can't be compared to many altcoins that are dead since bears took over crypto market after 2017, it's wise to follow OP advice here, strictly for newbies only though

Seek for more crypto knowledge before investing in new projects, it's not always that easy to choose, as a newbie it's better to stick with old top altcoins on coinmarketcap, why? Because many newbie are in rush to make fast returns, if you are this type pls go for better top coins, 90% of new coins aren't serious at all, they are here to steal money from investors and give fake promises in return

I also agree with you. When there haven't have many knowledge of choosing coin to invest yet, choose top Alltcoin and its rank is remained for a long time is a wise choice
Even if anyone says that it is safer for a newbie to invest in top altcoins, there is no guarantee. Why jump on altcoin without even going through Bitcoin first? It is not possible to go straight to any altcoin project that has not even studied or understood Blockchain technology or Bitcoin itself. Furthermore, it does not mean that it is included in the top ranking will be considered a safe investment immediately. No altcoin investment is safer than Bitcoin. There are many things to consider and it all depends on the use-cases, developments, demand and there is already proven to be really useful in the crypto industry. Not just because of the price or which exchangers it is listed.
This is right! In comparison with other altcoins, top altcoins will be safer for newbies. However, in comparison with big coins such as BTC or ETH, even top altcoins have greater risks than those big coins. I always recommend new traders start trading with top coins such as BTC and ETH because those coins have high volume and liquidity. Furthermore, it contains fewer risks than others. Though, if a trader is confident about his or her skills and want to earn more profits, then go ahead and trade with top altcoins for sure!

Newbies really need to know about investments and altcoin held, especially those who don't understand the analysis and look at the charts on the exchange, so it's better to top the top 10 coins from CMC, it will be better if you look at developments in the market.
I do agree, they really need a lot of time to learn and know what investment they should make. In top altcoins, it will be better because those are the altcoins that are not easy to collapse. They are good for short term and long term investment.
