How you advice work, when an altcoin gets pumped or its dev fail heavily? Alt will fly away from top20 next day or a new will appear there for few days.

To start with for the newbies better to invest in good coins or the known ones so that investment made gives them good returns and does not end up making loss in start itself. With the gains they can invest in little know ones which they think can grow and currently being underperformed. So can invest accordingly in such coins .

Ripple and tether is also in the top rank of total marketcap value which means they are safe coins to invest? Not really there are cheap coins have potential as well so for a newbies bitcoin could be the only choice and never invest on any other altcoins before knowing what it is all about.

How much profit that already offered by the major coins depend on how good we can take the best position to enter the market. The bull trend can also become the main reason for the newbies to get huge profit too.
It's not true that major gives guarantee for anyone who have invested on it.

some have different thoughts, I want to try investing in this coin because it has risen in a short amount of time it's a simple example they don't know what they are following just looking at the market alone, without knowing why the coin is going up, down.
for the first time a good investment is only bitcoin, because it will be safe in the long run.

Newbies investing in the top altcoins doesn't give guarantee of good ROI in future, it's just for safety purpose right? If there is someone to guide a newbie, adding some low/mid cap coins with huge potentials won't be a bad idea. Say 50 % in BTC, 20% ETH, 20% top altcoins and 10% low/mid cap coins, just an instance.

that's true but only half, investing to top alts or not is definitely a big thing you should consider, it's like in stocks trading theres this top stocks mostly FANG and then the rest are quite volatile. their market cap really affect a lot.

they do this because they hope altcoin that bought could be next gem in cryptocurrency market. only analizing based on low marketcap could not help us to find good coins, there are several reason why its happen to this coins. maybe this project was bad and no one interested. investing in major coins will help us gain profits with low risk.

of course, top altcoins is recommended to trade for beginners because of the risk of loss is not too far off when the market deteriorated making it mandatory for beginners to buy coin top to avoid shitcoin that more and more outstanding and harm the beginners do not ever buy shitcoin because shitcoin are at risk for you to buy it even always detrimental for all investors.

I agree. Tho I admit there'd be lesser returns since some have reached its peak and would take some time to rise again, its still safer for a newbie. newbies shouldn't dive in some unknown coins expecting a huge return.

we should not generalize all new altcoin was scam project, just look at market many new altcoin show good performance in market and give gains to their investors.if we deeply research on this altcoin i am sure we will find new gem that be great project in future. but if we dont research maybe buying major coin be good advice.
