Definitely,  the author's advised is agreeable to me and hoping that everyone in this forum would also consider in buying btc and alts during this bear season at a very low price.   Btc and some of the alts had already proven it's capability that it can reached to an unexpected price rise last year at almost $20k.  With this,  I believe that what happen right now in the market is actually an opportunity wbere hou can purchase cheaper coins.

Hello,

I agree with you that the best potentiel is buying btc or promising crypto. But what is also important to become old holder is that it is mandatory to know how crypto is working.

And for this bounty signature campaign is for me a good start. Because it could help to have a few money to spend and play. The best way to learn doing good and bad choices. This, without potentially losing lot of « own » money, being desperate and leave crypto world. Also important to bring more people into the market which don’t gave money to invest.

Another point for universal acceptance and equality.

So again for me everything is not black or white but grey is a good compromise.

Many new people on this forum are so focused on ranking up on this forum, with the visions of making tons of money from Bounty and Signature campaigns, but when it counts the most, they tend to drop the ball and they lose out on the biggest profits.

My advice to the newbies out there is to forget about Signature campaigns and Bounty campaigns and to concentrate on the things that will help you to make the biggest profits. You should acquire as much cheap bitcoins as you can, during a dip, because you will never know if that price will be the lowest price that Bitcoin would be sold for in many years.

In early 2017, the Bitcoin price was around $1000 and everyone was saying it was over valued, well they were wrong and most of the old timers just kept on buying more coins. The end result... The Bitcoin price went up to $19,000+ and we made huge profits.

So, please shift your focus on the Dip to something more positive. A dip in the price should be welcomed, because it gives newbies and old timers a opportunity to buy more cheap coins.  Cool

Buy the Dip and Sell on the Spike for the highest return on your investment. No Signature campaign or Bounty campaign can beat a 800%+ increase in the price.  Wink
Very positive news! No need to be discouraged as you say. Many don't realize that we are in a relatively new market, that has just cropped up less than 10 years ago. It hasn't even been properly regulated yet. An ETF hasn't even been approved, as they keep getting postponed. We still have a very long way to go. Blockchain has taken the world by storm! People should stay tuned, because there's still more to come.

The main problem in here is that most of the newcomers do not ahve a previous education about how bitcoin works and how the money needs to be managed to make profit

I also think so, because most of the questions with panic really are written by newcomers. But there are also elders, who also panic, that they will lose their money, which accumulated for so long. So it still depends on how you react to it all.

You are absolutely right on the fact that noobs really want to amass the wealth within a short time frame. Only wish they can take their time to actually study the business model before investing their hard earn cash into. The cryptospace isn't just for the soft minded but those willing to take the risk and opportunities available in the space.

A lot of noobs have "Get rich quick" mentality, they don't really believe in Bitcoin as a movement for freedom, so when we enter a bearish market, they start considering the possibility that Bitcoin was a bubble, a fad, a ponzi scheme, which makes them reach conclusion that they have to sell to get at least a portion of their money back. It's really dumb because even if you are into Bitcoin only to make money, you should analyze its long-term perspectives and its technology instead of thinking about from purely speculative side.

Totally agree with Kakmakr now is a good time to buy, I just wish I had more spare cash to do so. I try to hold a balanced portfolio with bitcoin and other crypto's as well as more conventional fiat products-spread your risk, support the bitcoin dream and don't buy with borrowed money.

Two things are necessary to hid your advice. Understanding and funds.

The understanding of bitcointalk is where you make money through bounty. It present the cheapest avenue to get into the cryptocurrency buzz. Next is that the main areas of bounty that provides quicker money is signature and blog. But no one talks about other services no the forum.

On the other hand, bounty hunting require less funds to invest into getting data, where it is available. So comparatively, it is easier for any newbie to hunt than trade or buy BTC.

New users of bitcoin get panicked easily when they see the price of the coin is falling down and start selling coins at low price. The experienced users don’t make this mistake and wait for the price to rise again.

New users of crypto currency market have very little knowledge about it they tend to sell their bitcoins when they see the price is falling but the old users of bitcoin has the experience and they wait for the right time.

Bounties and airdrop is a good way for beginners to get their start tokens capital. I would recommend to not sell these tokens and dump young projects at the same time, just hold and wait for more healthy market then sell it for BTC, not other currency.

Yes this is sadly the truth out here, all the members are just running behind merits and what is surprising after a post that doesn't make sense they'll write a line, if you like leave a merit. I have always been advocating for people to buy on dips such a chance won't come every time. In my views this is yet a cheap valuation of bitcoins, and it's important to average to gain maximum returns in the long term. There has been a positive updates from USA senate so it's fair to say, some upward movement can be expected.

Another problem with newbies is they believe and spread fud easily, instead of focusing on adding quality coins to their portfolio they keep on focusing on adding merits which will not be good for them.

Experience is the best teacher. Newbies can avoid costly panic selling and undue stress by doing extensive research first before investing in bitcoin.

This is so true and I believe that explains the unending traffic to this site. Many (including old members) see it as a meal ticket.

This comment is more ambiguous than a side note. Would you mind explaining it?

You think the noobs will gaze at your advice twice? Not even the veterans here will chew on it as a second thought. On buying the dip, sometimes one wants to key in and buy cheap but cash could also restrain one from doing that. Have you ever thought of that before? This thing is easier said than done.

Absolutely, most of the new investors will lose their money because of panic selling when they met a small dump from their cost price, they need to remember the price of bitcoin before one year then they will be happy with the current price even.I am holding some of my bitcoins as a very long term investment like until going to moon so let's hold together and will go to the moon soon. If every novice in the forum had 12-15K, they could buy Bitcoin and I'm sure they would have bought it, but it's clearly not the case.  Roll Eyes

With a couple of bitcoins in your wallet, you do not have to spend time on the bounty.

I would not participate.
