Maybe you have have point that most of the newbie panic rapidly, and the old timers smiling but you have also to understand their situation, teach them how to do.

That is too true! Although in my experience I've known of people who used bounties and signature campaigns to gain enough capital to trade. Fronm there they try their hands on trading and eventually get huge profits from it. I myself loves it when the market dips. That way i get to buy coins i can't normally afford.
This is also considered your pretty good tactics. Because most of us are engaged in normal income. If prices are too high we can hardly afford them. So when it's down and it's going to be bad, that's our chance. I think so is most reasonable to invest.

Old-timers who got on before $500 are smiling at whatever price it's at, 19k or 6k. It's all green for them.

Being in the green doesn't negate the crushing loss you've suffered in the $19k to $6k drop. It's about opportunity costs, and the opportunity cost of not selling and continuing to hold is the direct result of those losses. If you bought 2 coins at $500, you've invested $1000. Right now you'd be sitting on about $13,000, which is great to be up that much. But you missed out on locking in the gain at $38,000. Being up is better than being down, sure, but who's smiling about the fact that the opportunity cost of not selling resulted in a loss of $25,000? Looking at it your way may be optimistic, but looking at it this way is pragmatic.

I can't agree with author's position. When I came to crypto I started from scratch. My goal was to participate in bounty campaigns in order to earn the first cryptocurrency, and then invest everything in bitcoin. And I have reached the goal and continue to do so. So your advice is not entirely correct. One business doesn't interfere with another, it even helps, as in my case.

My advice to the newbies out there is to forget about Signature campaigns and Bounty campaigns and to concentrate on the things that will help you to make the biggest profits.
I agree with you about the bolded part, but not for the same reasons.  I think most bounty participants should abandon their efforts, because they're illiterate shitposters and that makes bitcointalk suffer at their hands--Facebook and Twitter, as well, because all they do is crank out spam.

The thing is, though, that for the average 3rd world bounty hunter, they can earn enough to support themselves, and probably their whole family as well.  It absolutely makes sense for them to be doing what they're doing.  I suspect that most of them don't have enough free cash to outright buy bitcoin in order to hold it.  Most of them probably would have no interest in crypto if they weren't doing bounties.  The only way they'd ever own any would be if they earned it by spamming.  You don't often see the average shitposter discussing anything other than "I joined bitcoin and it has a bright future, it increasing day by day" or some such nonsense.

For those people who actually l have some investment capital, what you said makes sense.  And me?  I'm in a sig campaign because I'd be posting here regardless of whether I was paid for it or not.  Why not earn some decent money by doing a thing that I'd be doing for fun anyway?  Makes sense, right?  It's not wasting my time and it earns me some bitcoin that might increase in value.

Lately I've been NOT spending bitcoin or selling it.  I think we're headed into another bull market, so I'm holding.

It is totally true and there are many bounty campaigns and I clearly not blame them.
Now there are alto of bounty campaign which gives money and it is taking good part in making bitcoin famous, people are earning good income from campaigns, so they are not selling now, if a person is in need of money I think he should hold coin just work with the campaign I am sure it will help them to earn good money this way everyone can save bitcoin form selling.

To be honest even i joined the cryptocurrency without any idea if what it is and the only thing that remark in my mind is with crypto you can earn money. From the word itself "NEW', ofcourse newbies dont know how the market runs because they stilll dont have enough knowledge about it.But sooner they will  have experience and learned more about the market.

Not most of the time. There are many experience traders here are also complaining about the outcome of this year when it is supposed to be positive because we started January with a bull run of altcoin. You can only smile on this crash when you are one of the people who sold a lot of bitcoin in its peak in December.

When old Bitcoin participants will know what the value of Bitcoin is and where ? It simply starts at $ 200, then $ 4000 - $ 5000 - ... and jumps to $ 16,700. It's not a thing of the past, but it's true for the newbie when it comes to starting out, it's very scary when it comes down to $ 6,700 from $ 16,700. But for the Bitcoin market that is not the end so the newbie is happy and waiting.

No lies was said that day. Alot of my friends who are inyo crypto currency cries when yhey see red on the trends. I admit i was one of them, but then i saw a post here and it said "think of dips as coin sales". After i saw that, i now tend to buy coins whenever there is a dip to beef up my holdings.  I just hope we see another spike.

This is the thing that can explain why most of the people in my cryptocurrency chat is just waiting patiently and calmly for this market to make a new swing up at the same time when all the newbies are constantly complaining and weeping.

It is always a herd mentality when it comes to cryptocurrency.
For the ones who are just new to it they do not know what to do when the price is dropping far below then what they bought it for.

It weeds out the weak hands.

that's great advice, but what if there's no money? therefore, there is a way bounty and signatures, to earn this money and then they buy other coins

Yeah it is good way of making good profit, those who has no money should not be worry as bitcoin has a lot of other ways to get income, they can join a lot of bounty and the signature campaign, here they will not have to invest anything but they will get good profit at the end, panic selling is not good thing as patience needed to have good income from our investment so one should not sell coin till the market rise high.

Well, that is true, mostly newbies getting panic when market down while old timer smile buying the potential coins from those newbies. We can't blame the newbies because they don't have enough knowledge yet about cryptocurrency. They need to learn more so that when time comes that market turns red they will not get panic.

Newbie always panic when market movement drop sharply. Old investor will take benefits from panic seller and buying most good coin with cheaper price. If we are planning to invest for long term, we should not panic with market condition and able to be patient with our investment

We should not worry about the price of bitcoin when it take a dip , it's normal in the cryptocurrencies market or in the other market like forex , stock,..
When you participate  long enough , you will understand about  the market  , just be calm and patient .

In this moment, i think many altcoin with good potential have cheaper price than ICO and drop more than 90% from highest price. It is true we can make big profits if we can identify good coin with good potential because when market recover, price will jump

During the fall it is the right time to buy different coins and make your portfolio stronger as you can easily average out your coins if you had bought at higher rates. Also you can strategies in short and long term and buy during the dips so that you can get more coins.

Buying during the dips is good choice for peoples who can read market movement. Sometimes market fluctuation not like what we predicted and i think choosing long term is good option because it can make us more relax and not stress watching market fluctuation

The people who bought bitcoin at price $1K in early 2K17 later they made massive return. Newbies should focus on gaining low-priced bitcoins as much as possible instead of joining any campaigns. A dip could be a best for newbies and old timers as well for the outmost return on investment.

Of the statement "Newbies panic & Old timers smile" ,I think otherwise because the old ones are the ones who have invested heavily in crypto currencies and downward price movement of bitcoin will hurt them more.
