That happen especially for every new token holder, I think what in their mind is that they are thinking if cryptocurrency is a fast way to gain profit, so when they see the market falling, they get so much panic and at the end the sold their coins out of panic. 
the new holder has no real meaning in the hold. they just rush in taking decisions and has no guidelines for what they do. ultimately this leads to continued to happen the panic and this is not a good thing if it continues. bad results will always be obtained if too frantic in crypto.
