Hi to all the people here in this thread i like to invite all of your to this contest who im organizing is free to play.

If you think you know a lot of NFL and want to prove it lets play! I see so much talking but i dont know how many really is into it.
Thanks for the invite to this competition for the run up to the Superbowl.

Don't think you have alot who applied because some might think they needed to be participants on BOTH of the threads for NFL discussion.
It is either/or the way I followed from the OP of the competition.

I am going all-in for the Lions to take it away from the Swifties for the SB.
Blood flows blue during the winter and February is usually the coldest month of the year.

@ralle14. Those were my predictions also, I should have also made that bet hehehe. I did not like the spread on all of the games in the divisional. The team I speculated that would cover the spread was the 49ers but they were behind for much of the game against the Packers and lost against the spread.
I also thought the Niners spread would be the easiest one because of their trends in the playoffs, but the Packers performed like they weren't a big underdog and still kept it close while having a couple of turnovers.

@everyone in this thread. On Lamar and the Ravens vs. the Chiefs, Mahomes, Travis and Taylor, what are your predictions? Will the Ravens' defense stop the Chiefs from scoring more than 10 points? I am quite certain the Chiefs' defense will have much difficulty on stopping the Ravens. This -3.5 spread on the Ravens might be an underestimation by the sportsbooks.
I'm still on the Chiefs and I like the extra points because the Ravens didn't look as impressive against the Texans. They only took over during the second half when the Texans' offense started to lose steam. I would easily be on the same side if they dominated from start to finish.

The Bills were so close to a game-winning TD in the last 4 to 5 minutes of the fourth quarter it almost made me think my bet was cooked, but the Chiefs' defense somehow got the stop within the FG range.

The unexpected part was the missed FG from their kicker. I surely thought it would go to OT when they had a good field position.

I'm happy that I finally get to hit a rare parlay, thanks to the Chiefs.  Cheesy

As predicted Taylor was going to be on the outside looking in on Kelce.

She was talking earlier in the owner's box with Travis brother Jason who was seen the latest loss taking the Eagles out of the post season. He was seen crying in that game and even speculating to retire.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39320253/jason-kelce-tells-eagles-teammates-retiring-sources-say
But that was a spare of the moment thing.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/nfl/article-12985085/Jason-Kelce-brother-Travis-denies-reports-Eagles-retiring-loss.html

Will see how this game plays out as it is tied so far.
Both teams are looking shaky so far but Bills are scoring right now with a confident Josh Allen.
Hopefully Bills can upset the Chiefs 2-0 record against them in these play-offs.
I wanna see the Bills win myself, but it's not going to be an easy task. Bills up 10-3 currently and the Chiefs are driving down filed like it's nothing. Neither team seems to be able to stop the other so far. Chiefs have an advantage as Buffalo has 3 big defensive guys out for today.

Unfortunately, NFL kickers are terrible this weekend. Buffalo just missed a 44 yd fg to tie the game and Green Bays kicker missed 2 fg in yesterdays game which if he hit both, they win. I would fire em both lol.

Watching the pre-game show and everybody is confident on those Detroit Lions to win, which worries me.
Once everybody is on a team they seem to lose.

This is the play-offs after all and what rohang said in his earlier post rings true most definitely here.

I still am going with the home teams today for both matches.
Bills are solid at home but Chiefs are killers in the post-season when their backs are to the wall.

Markets if you want to put in a bet at the last second for the Lions and the Bills later on after this one:

I get the same feeling you do when everyone is on one side it's a trap bet.  Detroit looks good but the bucs have been staying with them.  And for me I'm on the other side I'm on the kc side tonight.  For whatever reason whenever the playoffs hit mahomes just does his thing.  They might not win but dude always is in the game, the moment never seems too big.  I got kc going to the SB again..

Both the Bucs and the Lions are decent at defending/stopping the run, but they struggle in the passing game, ranking near the bottom of the league (reg season) in opponent yards per pass attempt and opponent passing yards per game. It is exactly where i am looking at and where my bet will go.

Goff threw for 353 yards in Week 6 against the Bucs, and i wouldn't be surprised if he tops 300+ again. The Sun God, LaPorta, and J. Willimas all look good for a rec TD, but i'd rather go with Goff's 2+ passing touchdowns here...playing it safe, i guess.

I've got this parlay cooking with mostly the match-winner favorites and should be down to three legs, with the Ravens likely closing out with a win against the Texans.  Cheesy

I expect the first three legs to come in, and then it gets dicey with the Bills vs. Chiefs match tomorrow.

They will be looking for Taylor Swift in the crowd to get a freebie mini-concert just like in their last game. If they are winning that is.
She will be breaking out in song & dance to cheer up the crowd around her with no cozy box to keep out of the cold winter's air this time Tae Tae! Cheesy

So the matchups are set for this weekend and to see who will advance in the AFC & NFC divisions for the chance to play at the SuperBowl just a month away on February 11th in Las Vegas! Cool

Here are the markets for those games coming up starting on Saturday:

@ralle14. I reckon after witnessing how the Cowboys lose against the Packers, we cannot underestimate the Rams. Matthew Stafford is a better quarterback than Jared Goff, the Rams have rookie offensive player candidate Nacua, Cooper Kupps is healthy and Kyren Williams appear to have been doing his job good enough for what his team needs. This would be not very surprising if the underdogs are not really the underdogs heheheeh.
The ending was so tight that the points mattered and you guys are right about the Rams. Smiley

Matthew Stafford played better than Jared Goff, I reckon. If the Rams have gotten 1 touchdown from the 3 that they were in the redzone on the 2nd half, they certainly would have won the game.

In any case on this next game, the Eagles does not have AJ Brown, Jalen Hurts will play with an injured finger and Devonta Smith has a minor leg injury.

2 games today including the postponed one and i dont think both favorites should have any issues winning and coverinng the handicaps  Grin
That's one game down with the Bills covering the spread.

The next match is difficult to call since the Eagles have been losing against weaker teams and that made me go with the Bucs spread (+3.5) even though I understand that the Eagles are the better team here.

Edit: The Bucs didn't even need the points.  Cheesy

I'm not even a Cowboys hater but how anticlimactic finish of the season, they did the most Cowboys thing ever, make a fool of themselves on national television, as SAS likes to say: "The Cowboys are just the accident waiting to happen!"

...and in the process, they ruined multiple tickets of mine, couldn't even get that garbage time TD for Lamb.

Anyway, i was lucky with the weekly Sb promos and got a bunch of free bets laying around, this is what i cooked in 5 minutes:

Allen has been vulturing carries inside the red zone since their bye, and i think there is a good chance he gets one today.

Those were some games last night and the huge upset of the Dallas Cowboys who were major favorites destroyed almost all accas. They were @1.30 prematch to beat the Green Bay Packers.
Those were sucker odds and everybody fell for it including myself, unfortunately destroying my last betslip of the night. We would of seen that score coming as the Packers lead 27-0 at one time in the game.
Dallas was mounting a comeback very late in the game but couldn't get past the Packers defense.
So they are out of the playoffs, just like that.

The wild card game was just that wild!
Lions won it with Goff and breaking a 32 year old drought which made the fans relieved because it could of ended in hearbreak since possibly rookie of the year had 182 yards breaking a record last night. https://www.thescore.com/s/26192556
But unfortunately Puka Nacua team loss to Detroit and it ended up being 24-23.
@ralle14 very sad to see that betslip was dead.

But as rohang has mentioned above we have the postponed match being played tonight that is if the conditions have allowed them to start clearing all that snow and if the weather holds up in the next 9-10 hours before kick-off.

Here are those markets:
