The sure thing is to accept whatever the outcome, same sentiment with you if you treat gambling as source of entertainment it's easy to move on when you lose your bet, there's no hardship in moving forward and accept that you lose it, much easy to treat it as payment for your entertainment as after you lose all you have to do is call the day and nothing else, there's no waste as you'll bring the entertainment with you after ending your session.
Absolutely right. It's better to just not put much hopes on your gambling predictions as they might not work all the time. If you just place your bets and take it as a form of fun and entertainment without thinking too much or risking too much then it would be easier to move on when your predictions turns sideways. In gambling there's nothing like sure odds, when you are lucky, you hit some good amount of wins but don't expect it to be that same experience when next you play your games.
The annoying thing about gambling is that many people get caught up in cases like you bet and you don't really expect, but then you get a win and you think you can bet again to win another match, so you lose and lose the money you have won before, and after that most people think that before I won once and succeeded maybe I will try again for the third time by re-depositing again, but in the end lose and afterwards do not accept the loss.
Maybe if thinking in a scenario of betting and then not expecting to keep losing, one would be able to ignore the loss, but not those who have a different scenario.
That's gambling for you, and I guess this is actually one of the reasons why its best to gambling for fun other than gambling for a the sole purpose of making money.
It's pretty hard, like as good as impossible to be profitable in gambling, only a very few persons can boost of being profitable with their overall spendings on gambling, the rest of gamblers are in a great loss, it's one of the reasons why casinos continue to grow, make a lot of money, while gambler get poorer, because they have failed to gamble for the right reason.
When we learn to gamble for what gambling is meant for, we will realize that spending too much gambling is not ideal, it's often turns out to be a waste money, if we realize this, it will help us to minimize spending, and priorize other important things in our lives much more than spending money on gambling wit the sole aim of making money back.
