For whatever reasons anyone would wanna share their wins, that's up to them... They'd basically wanna give it some publicity cause mostimes, they have friends that don't feel they'd ever get a win regardless of how many times they try.
That's exactly the sole purpose of posting them.. Mostimes, casinos would go out of their way to post recent slips, just to motivate gamblers that would wanna quit/ newbies that wanna start their gambling journey.

When something is related to money, then we have to be careful, exactly as you said, we don't know what other people think when we have a certain amount of money, they could have evil thoughts to control our money. When you announce your gamble wins to people, there's chances that some of your family and friends will become your enemies, because most of these people will see your win as a free money that they're entitled to. Some wicked ones will keep coming to you for loans and financial help until they're sure that the money is finished, and you'd be their enemy if you don't give them. Some can even plan to harm you, just to get collect the money from you, so it's better to be safe and be discreet with your huge winnings.

It's better we selective to tells other people about our winning because we don't knows what they will thinks about us and our winning. The less people knows about our winning, that will be better for us because we can prevents from the bad guys that will do something bad to us, especially if we wins much money. We must protects ourselves from that bad guys around us because we don't knows who will do that. If we can tells our wins to our relatives that close to us, they will accept it and we can asks them to celebrate it together. They will not do something bad to us and will congratulate us because of our winning so they will deserves to hear of our winning in gambling. It's our decisions to tells who can knows about our winning and those who doesn't deserves to know about our winning.

I believe there are some wins that you cannot keep to yourself, even if you decide not to share it, there is a way the joy let's you spill it out. It's not easy to win a long gambling bet a several games that could take up to 3 week and when such happens you might cause a giveaway unintentionally. There is a saying that quick and easy money are usually spent lavishly, and majority of gamblers are guilty of this, and that how people know that they just got lucky even without them saying it out. A gambler playing a round table game cannot keep it all to himself. Though for security reasons it's advisable to keep your winnings to yourself but in some cases only the news spreads itself.

We want to share our happiness and pain. Because there is no other way to make them better. When we are very happy, we share it with others. And we increase our happiness. We share our pain with others. Because when we share it with others, our pain decreases. We are social beings. Also, we are selfish beings. We always think of ourselves at the expense of others. That's why we share our experiences with others. Isn't that why social media platforms are so popular?

Yes that is really true because you may not know the person gambling story and what has really happened to the person, because of the aim of gambling and when the person hear about your story you it becomes a problem because the person will always remember those time he had a bad experience that has cost him a lot and when he has tried to forget it a little and you remind the person he fell like he wants to die and he get depressed immediately because of the story you told him has made him remember his bad story, why he is supposed to be happy
