We want to share our happiness and pain. Because there is no other way to make them better. When we are very happy, we share it with others. And we increase our happiness. We share our pain with others.
Do you think the people that you are planning to share your happiness with really want you to be happy? We are in a world where people you see smiling with you don’t really want you to be successful, so whenever you tell them about your success story, they always feel bad, and some might end up doing things that will hurt you. So it’s better when you are happy, just keep it to yourself or share it with only your family members, maybe your wife and children.

But no matter how close you are to someone, always mind what you tell them, there are things that are supposed to be kept to yourself alone. Most people you see always want you to be in pain, that’s what gives them joy, not your happiness.

Yes that is really true because you may not know the person gambling story and what has really happened to the person, because of the aim of gambling and when the person hear about your story you it becomes a problem because the person will always remember those time he had a bad experience that has cost him a lot and when he has tried to forget it a little and you remind the person he fell like he wants to die and he get depressed immediately because of the story you told him has made him remember his bad story, why he is supposed to be happy
I think hearing something from someone's gambling experience is a very normal thing. Why is listening to stories from fellow gamblers a problem? Doesn't that all happen to each individual gambler? If you have a bad experience in gambling such as wanting to die or being depressed, why would you repeat or play again? I think it is stupid to repeat something that has happened to him.

Of course, especially if we are in an environment that is really active in gambling, or what I mean is especially if you have many friends in your environment who are also involved in gambling, then it is very natural for us to hear various stories and experiences experienced by some of the friends we have. Honestly, I don't think that hearing stories from other people's gambling experiences is a problem, because these situations really happen and I also often hear several of my friends telling stories about events they have experienced, whether they are events that lead to disappointment such as losing money in a game. large amounts or experiencing failure in the scenario of getting a big win. In terms of impact, yes, it is true that there is a possibility that someone who hears an interesting story from an experience experienced by another gambler might be able to be a motivation, but I think it all comes back to your own personality, because if you know about what gambling really is like in the sense of something that other people experience, such as a big win, will not necessarily happen to you, even if for example you do it the same way, so I don't think you will be influenced by other people's experiences. Another thing, yes, I agree with you that repeating the same mistakes is stupid.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
Every story you tell someone can either be a motivation or something to get them depressed. I have been thinking about this and I'd like to pass this advice to every serious gambler in this platform who has won a substantial amount of money from gambling, not to share their success story about winning to everyone and in every place.
For whatever reasons anyone would wanna share their wins, that's up to them... They'd basically wanna give it some publicity cause mostimes, they have friends that don't feel they'd ever get a win regardless of how many times they try.
Quote
Your success story when shared indiscriminately may trigger and motivate this addicted gambler battling to stop to want to keep gambling,
That's exactly the sole purpose of posting them.. Mostimes, casinos would go out of their way to post recent slips, just to motivate gamblers that would wanna quit/ newbies that wanna start their gambling journey.
You are not expecting casinos to shut down cause you wanna focus on quitting, do you? Just go ahead and live with it.

It's better we selective to tells other people about our winning because we don't knows what they will thinks about us and our winning. The less people knows about our winning, that will be better for us because we can prevents from the bad guys that will do something bad to us, especially if we wins much money. We must protects ourselves from that bad guys around us because we don't knows who will do that. If we can tells our wins to our relatives that close to us, they will accept it and we can asks them to celebrate it together. They will not do something bad to us and will congratulate us because of our winning so they will deserves to hear of our winning in gambling. It's our decisions to tells who can knows about our winning and those who doesn't deserves to know about our winning.
When something is related to money, then we have to be careful, exactly as you said, we don't know what other people think when we have a certain amount of money, they could have evil thoughts to control our money. We play without them knowing and we also have the full right not to tell about our wins.
However, for certain people I like to tell them when I win big, because I am used to sharing to just treat them to coffee and they also do the same thing when they win a big amount. However, we cannot do that to everyone because there must be limits and only those closest to us and we also know about them.
Moreover, when I play, they often watch it, so for me it is a must that they also enjoy it. Although that is also our decision because the money we use is our own money.

We want to share our happiness and pain. Because there is no other way to make them better. When we are very happy, we share it with others. And we increase our happiness. We share our pain with others. Because when we share it with others, our pain decreases. We are social beings. Also, we are selfish beings. We always think of ourselves at the expense of others. That's why we share our experiences with others. Isn't that why social media platforms are so popular?

I agree that it is good to share our success stories with family and friends, like birthdays, wedding anniversaries, childbirth and other celebrations, both physically and on social media. I however agree with the OP that it is not wise to anounce your financial matters on social media or telling just anybody what your worth.

When you announce your gamble wins to people, there's chances that some of your family and friends will become your enemies, because most of these people will see your win as a free money that they're entitled to. Some wicked ones will keep coming to you for loans and financial help until they're sure that the money is finished, and you'd be their enemy if you don't give them. Some can even plan to harm you, just to get collect the money from you, so it's better to be safe and be discreet with your huge winnings.
I don't know why everyone always wants recognition from other people that they are successful and have won big at gambling. In fact, this is something that should be hidden, even though we actually have a good goal by encouraging other people by showing off our winnings, but sometimes that's not the case. everyone who sees and hears our victory can have the same intentions as we want, sometimes they are not as enthusiastic as you think, in fact they can misinterpret it. It could be that they actually play even crazier to be like you or have other bad impacts that they really don't deserve to know about either.

We don't talk from the perspective of people hating us or borrowing money from us because we announced our winnings, not only that, there are many other things that other people don't need to hear, for example, as I explained above, sometimes people who are bankrupt lose their gambling. After hearing that you have won big, they usually have the confidence to gamble again by borrowing money, for example from loan sharks, and are confident that that day is their luck too. even though every luck is different and not the same.

If you flex every gambling win you make then the results will be bad in the future, you will only be labeled as an arrogant person and no one will want to approach you, gambling that benefits you is better to just keep it in your heart, don't let it happen. making you the target of many people, especially criminals who want to control your money. There have been many cases where jackpot winners lost their lives due to robbery or murder.

I believe there are some wins that you cannot keep to yourself, even if you decide not to share it, there is a way the joy let's you spill it out. It's not easy to win a long gambling bet a several games that could take up to 3 week and when such happens you might cause a giveaway unintentionally. There is a saying that quick and easy money are usually spent lavishly, and majority of gamblers are guilty of this, and that how people know that they just got lucky even without them saying it out. A gambler playing a round table game cannot keep it all to himself. Though for security reasons it's advisable to keep your winnings to yourself but in some cases only the news spreads itself.

Sometimes it cant really be that be avoided that you might really be having that kind of reaction on which you would really be that having some boast when it comes to your winnings publicly
on which its normal since we are just humans on which excitement could be felt but there are really should moments that you should really be avoiding on being that too showy or expressive on what you do have in mind and its true that not all would be a happy for you on what you are currently experiencing. The other thing on here is that we do know about the probabilities that there would really be those individuals who would really be that becoming that too boost up on the time that they are seeing someone who do make out those big wins and trying to copy as much as they could.
When we brag about our wins, other people may not like it and think we are showing off to them. They might do something that could be bad for us so we shouldn't tell everyone about our win.
We must be able to choose anyone who can listen to our win so that they really feel the joy that we get. We don't need to share our winning stories on our social media pages because there will be people who don't like it.
We should hide our winnings from the crowd and only share them with people close to us. That way, we can avoid bad things that could happen to us.

Be careful who and where you talk about your success in gambling, you may just be encouraging an addicted gambler to continue.

Shouldn't there be an overwhelming amount of defeat stories to offset this? If these gamblers ignore that evidence, then they were going to stay addicted anyways.

In essence, whatever we share publicly, whether it is about victory or defeat, is our own right and when something happens that is caused by seeing the victory that we publish, it is clearly the responsibility of those who are still affected by what they see.
It just that this is not about influencing other people but more about privacy, by maintaining the privacy of every gambling result, we can indirectly avoid various negative actions that could occur.
In many cases, such as hacking, extortion and robbery, by showing the victory we have obtained, it means we have allowed or invited bad things like that to ourselves.
So basically all of this is not just about being affected or not but more about our own security.
Moreover, I sure that only few gamblers will talk about or share their winnings publicly and most will always keep it secret.

Indeed, sharing our victory or defeat with the public is our own right, other people have no right to regulate what we do, but even so, we must be able to see what we share with the public, whether the things we share with the public can trigger problem or not. with the gambling statement that I think there are some people who don't like gambling or who really have a bad view of gambling, it can be a problem when they see the gambling activities that we do, whether it's because they advise or criticize, well if we really want to share the winnings or our defeat to the public, we must be prepared for the criticism that will occur.  If we cannot accept this, conflict could possibly occur.

It's better to keep your gambling activities a secret, I myself keep it a secret, because I don't want conflicts with each other. Apart from that, in my opinion, sharing your victory or defeat with the public will not be beneficial, maybe for people who like to show off they will share their winnings with the public, but it seems impossible for them to share their defeats with the public.

You play gambling on your own, and you enjoy the wins on your own, sometimes because of too much fun, with the wins we have we overshare too much information with other people just could be fun to share or get flex with the information we have. If you want to enjoy i guess with your family that always take care with you or the people around you that always be there even you didnt win in your gambling hobby. Also try to become lowkey as possible to avoid too much attention from others for your safety too.

As a gambler, we need to be sensitive with gambling, this will help us to know how we are expected to behave with others or relate with them while gambling, when we make wining, i don't see a reason why we should about in sharing the good news with other gamblers when we are actually not going to give them a penny from the money, we can feel the excitement in us, express it, but must also be considerable and reasonable while doing such, so that others may not use it as a weak point in attacking us.

Indeed, not everyone deserves to hear about your gambling wins, especially if sharing could potentially enable or encourage harmful behaviour in others or strain relationships. It's essential to consider the impact of your words on those around you and exercise discretion in sharing such information.

Be careful who and where you talk about your success in gambling, you may just be encouraging an addicted gambler to continue.

Will it be our fault if we share it in social media and many addicted gamblers are encouraged to continue? It is NO if you I have to answer it myself, but for personal share then yes I have to agree that it is better if we do share it with filter, at least we should know the situation of the person we want to share. But if we talk about sharing it publicly, there is nothing wrong with it and the audience/viewers are those who responsible for what they see/watch in social media.

But trying to check out on where OP is really that pertaining or concern into then this is basically talking about your influence about into those gamblers who are really that tending to quit on which on the time that
you would really be making out those kind of announcing your winnings publicly then there are indeed some individuals who would really be seeing this to be some sort of boost.
Instead of quitting then they would really be that definitely be continuing just because they've been that heard of those words and this is something that OP is really that concern into.

For me its really just that normal that people or winning gamblers would really be having that kind of reaction, specially if they do come after a series of loses and
made out some immediate comeback then for sure that kind of reaction would really be just that normal or something that a human being would do.
Those who win from gambling should be able to select people who can hear about their winnings. Otherwise, we will not know who has hidden intentions and wants to use our winnings for their own interests.
If we can be careful in sharing our wins with the people around us, we can avoid evil desires from people who don't like seeing the wins we get. We also don't need to worry about what they will do because we know we have done what we can.
We had better be careful in this matter to enjoy the winning money. We can also share it with the people we want.
