I had big issues with Palgin and i switched to cminer and since than everything was fine so i vote for removing Palgin.

Also i have a question. Is there any scrypt i can mine with CPU on ahashpool and if there is how to setup NPlusMiner to use CPU?
My CPU was mining around 2USD a day on Nicehash so i guess it should mine even more with NPM
Thanks

You can run xmr-stak in CPU-only mode at the same time as a GPU miner. You'll have to choose an appropriate coin (likely using Cryptonote/Cryptonight) and pool.

No CPU mining at this time on NPlusMiner.
On ahashpool, you could try m7m.

No time for this on my side.
If anyone knows how/where to start an online poll and wants to take the time it would be great and helpful.

Question: Should the next version keep Palgin for Neoscrypt?

Thanks you!

Just took the latest files off your repo (the makings of 1.3 I'd assume) and tested it with a 1070Ti.
... I'm wondering if this is because there's no "-interval" command in the start.bat file (was I supposed to re-insert that?). Also profits seem stupid-high right now, let's see how accurate they are.

Also is it possible for me to just replace Palgin's "hsrminer_neoscrypt.exe" with just_a_miner's fork (rename it to the same .exe)? Or will I have to fiddle with the Powershell files too? On second thoughts I should just try it for myself.

I noticed there was no -interval argument as well.  Pretty sure it's using a default internal if there's no -interval argument present.  I've got two rigs running NPM 1.3 that use different interval times, although I've never manually the interval manually... intentionally.   I think I might have copied and used a start.bat from an older version of the miner that had an interval argument in it the first time I ran NMP 1.3.  Pretty sure it picked it up and remembered it, so I'd bet you can add it back in if you wanted to.  I was waiting for "trust" to get to 100% to check earnings accuracy so I wasn't willing to add a different -interval argument and restart the miner to test, but if MrPlus doesn't chime in before I get home, I'll probably give it a shot tonight.

As for replacing the miner, have a look at post #57.  Roman's got you covered.

Hey Every,

I replaced KlausT's miner with just a miners fork. Just renamed klaus' to ccminer.old and named jsutaminer's to ccminer.exe. I also set the flags -i 7 -c 4 inside of the klausT powershell script. Works fine Smiley.

edit: I also saw that the interval flag was removed from the .bat files. Was this intentional?

Just took the latest files off your repo (the makings of 1.3 I'd assume) and tested it with a 1070Ti.

Bench-marking of skein and tribus for ZergpoolPlus went on for 20-30 mins before I manually cancelled them. X17 and NIST5 working fine so far. I'm wondering if this is because there's no "-interval" command in the start.bat file (was I supposed to re-insert that?). Also profits seem stupid-high right now, let's see how accurate they are.

Agree, I'm not fan of PalginHSR for neoscrypt. A lot of issues with that

What happens when 100% trust level is reached? Seeing issue that these values didn't get updated anymore (balance and average btc/d and btc/h). Seeing same issue with nemosminer. Pool stats not getting updated anymore so it keeps mining the ALGO that was on top the last time it refreshed the stats.

MrPlus,

So I am having an issue getting the Earnings Tracking to show up. I have 2 rigs running nplus now but both are not showing. 1 on Zerg and another on Blaze.

On my screens I see BTC price
                            ++++++
                            Running:

              then all the miner info

I have seen from screenshots that is where the info is supposed to be.

I must have gone over the Readme a half dozen times double checking. You state it is started by default. This is what I have tried to so far.

  1.  I have included  -UIStyle Full in my plus.bat .
  2. I have tried pressing  the  e button and waiting for next refresh and getting nothing.   1 rig is on direct keyword and the other is via Teamviewer.

   Any help would be appreciated.

Also, Blazepool profits aren't working for me.  I also had to add to the blazepoolplus.bat "keccak"{$Divisor *= 1000} in order for it to work correctly.

I moved Neoscrypt from palginhsr to ccminerKlaust.  Just edit the "#" in the miners folder.  Pretty easy.

I'm failing to repro the two miners opened

Thinking of taking Plagin away for NeoScrypt. Seems to be a lot issues with it.
Need more testimonies for decision.

I had the two miners open when I was benchmarking Neoscrypt.  After I removed the NeoScrypt algo, everything else seemed to work as well as NemosMiner typcially has.  Palgin's HSRminer also didn't close when the benchmarking should have been finshed, but I've often found that to be the case with other algos/miners in NemosMiner as well.

When benchmarking, if the miner doesn't close after the second interval it will likely run until you stop it.  When I see that, I shut the script down and restart, that usually resolves the issue.... although it didn't in the case of HSRminer.

So ya, +1 here to remove it until you can figure out what the problem is.  It's too bad, it's the fastest Neoscrypt miner I've tested.

I'm confused as to the difference between Nplusminer and Nemos2.5... their newest clone.  Did they merge or something?

From what I understand, it's the logic in how Nplus decides which is the most profitable algorithm.  Not sure if Nemos is incorporating MrPlus' most recent changes to his miner, because if he is, the net results are going to be very similar.

For what it's worth, I've had a fairly good experience with HSRminer, particularly with Just_a_miner's fork. I like to restart it once every 8 hours or so and it'll often produce the hash rates I see on client-side.

I've heard good things about KlausT if you're willing to mess with intensity, but I haven't tried that myself. Stock KlausT is underwhelming IME. NH's Excavator (1.4.4 I believe?) is also excellent for Neo when it comes to 1080Tis/TitanXPs. Not sure what their licensing details are, but might be worth replacing HSRminer if it's (relatively) easy to integrate.

Okay, something else seems to not be working right. I just noticed that the algo listed as most profitable was not only not being currently run, it was not even switched to at the next update:

Phi was the most profitable algo but tribus was still running. Next update, neoscrypt is loaded even though it isn't anywhere close to being the most profitable. Finally, tribus is deemed most profitable and the correct miner is loaded...  Undecided

EDIT - A possible clue! The Phi port was disabled on Zpool once again, though I am not sure exactly when. The last Phi coin in my exchange queue came in around 1 hour before I wrote the original post (about 2 hours at the time of this edit).

Just to make things interesting I am running NPlusMiner 1.3 on one of my single GTX 1080 test rigs and NemosMiner 2.4.2 on the other one to see which algos they choose and how the estimated profitability changes. There is a huge variation of the latter between them, but they are often choosing the same algo...

E.g. - X17 runs at 13.23 MH/s on Rig 1 (NPlusMiner) and is projected to earn 0.335 mBTC per day, while it runs at 13.39 MH/s on Rig 2 but is only projected to earn 0.206 mBTC per day... So a slightly higher hashrate results in a much lower projected earnings?!?

I'd also vote to remove  Palagin. It seems hes gone mia from the dev side and it consistently just causes issues. I've been playing with justaminers fork but have been using klaus-T for the past few weeks.

Yep, klaust works best for me out of the ccminer variants I have tried, but I think there might be another one of them that is even better at Neoscrypt (alexis78?).

Also, Palgin's miner already has a 1% devfee and that can really hurt you if you are only mining for a few minutes each time it is loaded; that 1% could potentially turn into 20%.

Finally, Palgin's miner starts off strong on all my rigs, but then after some random period of time exceeding 1hr the hashrate drops dramatically - by at least 10% - and this is reflected on the pool side (also, Palgin seems to be notorious for overstating hashrate in his miners, from what I've read here).
