In my country, Graphic Cards are expensive.
I have two choices. I have already these vgas. I will buy more gear.
What should I buy ? I havent decided.

9445 $ = 12 pcs RTX A2000 6GB + full mobo set = 504 MH ETH 1000W at the plug
7695 $ = 12 pcs RX 6600 8GB + full mobo set = 347 MH ETH + 11GH TON 1440W at the plug

I have 4 pny rtx a2000 they work well

I have 36 more on order.

I have 1 rx 6600 Its okay .

I have no more on order.

But that is my choice.
I had good luck with the 6800 cards
I had good luck with the 6700 cards.

but the one 6600 has not been as good.

I would have purchased more of the 6800s but I never got a good price.

to me the amd 6000 series was very over price.

I have gotten some decent prices. on

Are any of you gents contemplating buying the 21k A11 pro that Inno has on 'offer.' I am itching to buy one for some weird reason and need to be talked out of it...

21k a11 does how much hash at what watts

okay it does 1.5gh at 2500 watts

this gpu is better if you can get it.

https://www.lenovo.com/us/lenovopro/en/p/accessories-and-software/graphics-cards/graphics_cards/4x61f99433?

will do 40 at 70 watts

buy 36 for about 20340

buy 3 miner dude cases for

3600

cost 23940 say 25000

that inno will be same with tax

so 41 x 36 = 1.476 hash

36 x 71 =  2556 watts add 300 watts for the fans in the cases you are at 2856 watts.

2856 watts 1.476k hash

2500 watts 1.50 hash

3 rigs with 36 cards take space but you will never go fully doa.

1 rig with 1 psu = do a risk

cost is very close to equal 25k-26k price range with taxes.

i'd rather stick with gpus vs an asic that isnt at least 5-10x more efficient...so yes, don't get it.  plus probably loud as an airplane.  idk, unless you want to deploy a bunch quickly and have space issues.

Phil how is it you keep buying cards, you're inspiring a lot of confidence! I know you have good power, but isn't the uncertainty super high right now?

We have a long term vision.
I am the old man 65 warehouse owner is 58 buysolar is 46 warehouse owner's son is 26

We also have

ASICS FOR BTC
ASICS FOR LTC/DOGE

gpus for eth.

We are no longer a garage miner.
We burn 200kwatts a day
We are over 300k in gear.

So we dca gear.

This is nice money, but all four of us have income outside of this.

We look to expand to 900k worth of gear.  our big site can do that much power.

and we found a site close to my home and buy solar's home.  we have another investor we may do a big farm there. (big is relative) 500 kwatts maybe 600k worth of miners.

to me a 900k miner farm four way split

and a 600k miner farm is big. three way split.

I basically stopped replacing any fans on GPUs. The only time I replace the fans is when I am about to sell it to some gamer because I don’t want them to run into any heating issues.

Depending on what type of fan setup is in there, usually the very cheap fans you can take off the fan blade and add mineral oil in the bearing and it’ll work a few more months.

Or you can just take off the fans and shrouds and just add a case fan and run it on max speed. It’ll never over heat that way. If it does then add 2 case fans just in case.

Those are good numbers.  I remember my ~80x 470s ran 3-4 years with <5% failures, but it was clean and fans ~50% also.  the 5700xt fans are 85%+.  I miss my 470s, but they were all 4G.  They were also all Sapphires.  EVGA and Sapphire is my top tier if I had a list.  Nice to see you have a lot more gear, must of been fun setting it all up.  I really hate wood burning - I put a MPR2200 filter on my air intake for the furnace outside the house.  I bet within a week it'll be black.

Yeah the room the asics are in is very dirty even with filters. The gpu room is a lot cleaner.

Just a random post about fan quality on gpus.  I have a bunch of 5700xt.  Here are failure rates (bad fans/total) after 18 months give or take.  Area had quite a bit of dust i'm afraid to say due to people heating mainly with wood in my area, which on a sidenote, is retarded for many reasons.  PM2.5 is frequently elevated depending on weather conditions.  Normal dust filters do not capture micro particles.
Sapphire dual : 0 %
Asus dual : 25%
Asrock dual: 10 %
XFX triple : 15%
The Sapphire Pulse dual fans are top notch, I would sell all the others and just keep those.

Yeah we have some dust issues.

My msi amd tend to fail the most often

So far of 200 cards all makes and models

4 evga 1080ti one is over heating a bit I have it very down clocked and it runs okay

all the rest are amd 5000 and amd 6000 series. 1 failed  power color 5700 1 failed ASRock 5500 mobo short. 2 failed msi 5600 fans I have about 80 of these mixed

along with nvidia 3000 series = perfect about 80 for 800

not sure how to list the card below all are Nov 2021 or newer
pny a2000 4 for 4 good
Lenovo a4000 = 4 for 4 good
pny a4000 = 40 for 40 good
pny a4500 = 2 for 2 good
pny a5000 = 7 for 7 good.

when I mine
I aways shoot for fans at 75% or lower
I also try low power say 55 to 70% of tdp

so I tend to always be lower than max mh/s but cards work and work and work.

I am just about 9gh eth hash

I see Newegg has 37 cards listed today.  The 3090 is at $21xx, about $700 over MSRP.

There are a number of 3050's including one for $249.

I have only se3n a guess for hashrate (23m), these don't seem worth it?

edit: I am NOT trying for any.

'The right to privacy matters'

My a2000 source fucked up my big order of 36 cards march 7 is new date.

Hopefully they freed up your funds so you can shop around  Wink

yes they did.

My choice was buy

7x A5000
2x A2000
7x A4000. get them by Friday the 7th of Jan

or wait for 36 x a2000 get them by 7th of March.

just about 29000 usd for get the gear now and hash rate of  1200mh

or wait 2 months and get hash rate of 1440mh cost of 23000. on paper waiting was a tiny bit better. but sometimes a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.

Took the gear now. we will be at 9gh by next Monday.

And your calculated amortization time is?

Well who really knows at 0.055 cents it is 0.055 x 1200 = 66 a day or 24090 a year 3 year warranty so 3 x 24090 = 72270

the power cost is 2.65kwatts or 1908 kwatts a month or 68688 kwatts in 3 years.

so at 10 cents that power cost is $6868.80
at 5 cent that power cost is $3434.40

so $72270- 6868 = 65402 at 10 cent power cost

and $72270- 3434 = 68836 at 5 cent power cost.

so for 29000 getting 65000 to 68000 in 3 years and still having the gear is possible.

you can say a crash is coming so cut the 72270 by 50% and it is 36135 - 6868 = 29267 to 32701 with a %50 crash

and of course

100000 - 6868 =  93132
100000 - 3434 =. 96566 if prices go higher

so in 3 years 29000 could be you still have all the gear and

29267-32701 on a low estimate.

65402-68836 on a current price estimate.

93132-96566 on a higher price estimate.

so these ranges are possible and I have under 5 cent power.  And a lot of paid up gear.

making this investment as a score in a year move is not what I want to do.
